Marco, congratulations. Uh we’ll talk later about your season, but what an amazing start here in Madrid. Yeah. No, today was obviously a good round shooting five under. Um, you know, it’s quite breezy and it’s a tough tough golf course. So, yeah, I’m pleased to get off to a good start. Um, I mean, you knew uh the city, but what about the clue Madrid? How would you describe the the the tournament? I mean, this is my second year here, so I’m still a bit of a rookie in a way coming here, but um yeah, I mean, it’s you know, it’s great to have all the all the fans around. And there’s obviously a lot of a lot of the public come out to support, you know, local players and I felt like I had quite a lot of support myself out there. So, you know, it’s been uh it’s a great tournament to play and that’s why I’m back here and, you know, the food, the staff, everyone’s been amazing and and the course is a good test of golf. So, yeah, couldn’t be happier to be here. Uh, every year the winner need to finish around 20 under power or something like that. But this two that results today are not as good as normally. Uh why? I think I think there’s more rough this year potentially than there was last year and the greens are a little firmer. So um you know you don’t have to do much wrong to be out of position around here and if you miss the greens it’s pretty tough to get up and down. So I think it’s just um the course setup’s a lot tougher. Uh firmer conditions, a bit of wind, more rough. Um, you know, I think the winning score would probably be around 15 under part at the most. And yeah, it’s just tricky. It’s tricky. So, I I I want to ask you about the future. Uh, we will see you next year on the PJ tour. Yeah. Yeah. I’ll be uh going to America next year. Um, you know, I’ll obviously miss playing the DP World Tour, but hopefully I can have a good year over there and come back after the playoffs and play some play some tournaments here like, you know, like this tournament and Wentworth and Irish Open and stuff. So, we will w you here. Yeah. Yeah, I’ll definitely try and make it back. And you are going to leave there with your family or or travel from here? No, I’m going to move in January. Um, going to my family, my my son and wife are going to come over with me, even the dogs. So, I’m just kind of really committing to doing it right over there. And, you know, hopefully I can feel comfortable and feel at home pretty early on in the season. So, yeah, a season like this year for next year would be nice, but we’ll see. How would you describe your season? I mean, winning your first DP World Tour tournament and winning the Danish Open uh qualifying also uh thanks of the Asian Tour to the Pa Championship. I mean, it’s been amazing. Yeah, it’s been a crazy um six months really, you know, um to have two DP World Tour wins and play really well in the PGA Championship and finish second at the Scottish Open. It’s been um you know, and even getting pretty close to the RDER Cup was it it gave me a lot of belief and a lot of confidence for myself. Um you know, but I wouldn’t have achieved what I’ve done this year without my team and my family and you know, it’s just a big team effort all around. So, you know, I appreciate them a lot. I I I hope to see you in in two years in in the Ryder Cup in in in Ireland. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. How did you leave the this this R cup? Yeah, I was obviously a little disappointed to not be there, but I understand the reasons why I wasn’t there. You know, it’s um a really tough um atmosphere to be around playing an away away rider cup over in America. So understood why Luke took an experienced team. But um yeah, I was a bit disappointed. But you know when when we were watching it on Saturday afternoon and Sunday getting so close even though kind of thought Europe had run away with it, it was uh yeah, I was getting really into it and I’m I’m not a massive fan of watching golf, but that was probably the the best best time I’ve watched golf and uh obviously massive credit to the guys for getting the win. Well, that’s all for me. only congratulations for for what is happening this season. It’s absolutely amazing and and and that’s all the best for the next of the for the rest of the season. No, thank you and thank you for having me. It’s been amazing. First of all, all the best for the week. Yeah, exactly. For the week hopefully you’re going to be sitting here on Sunday after the victory. Hopefully. We’ll see. But thank you. Thank you so much. Espa presented by Madrid.
