Day 75 of trying to fix my early release. And as you can see here, my hands are still stuck way behind me. At this point in my downswing, my hands should be here. So, I’m going to compare my iron swing versus Shane Lowry’s iron swing. And if you’re wondering why Shane Lowry, well, it should be pretty simple because I’m not going to compare my swing to Oshay Batia’s iron swing. So, first thing I noticed right off the rip is that Shane Lowry stance is way more narrow than mine. Next thing to notice is that he has way more hinge than I do in this position. His shoulders and chest are also kind of in a different position, more open. I think I can’t really see the difference in the transition. So, if you see something, let me know. But where I could really see a difference is here at club parallel. Look at where his hands are and look at where my hands are. So, at this point, I really have no choice but to flip the club at the ball, which in turn results in a less than efficient point of impact with pretty much zero shaft. So yeah, I’ve committed to not playing any serious golf until I fix this issue. Anyways, this was my best swing of the day, and my hands are still stuck way behind, but I managed to find some forward shaft at impact, which is probably the first time I’ve ever done this. Anyways, don’t forget to follow for day 76.
