I’m just going to leave this here.

This week is the LPGA’s first stop of its fall Asia Swing where the best in the world will go head to head at Qizhong Garden Golf Club in the People’s Republic of China.

The field this week is pretty stacked, featuring 11 of this season’s 26 different winners headlined by world No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul and 2025 major winners Minjee Lee and Miyu Yamashita. The field also features the event’s three past champions, Ruoning Yin, Angel Yin and Danielle Kang.

But man, what a welcome gift these athletes got with the green conditions. Like that looks bad.

And it seems like it’s not just one hole. LPGA player Leona Maguire shared a taste of how the course is playing with a pretty damning zoom in on the putting surfaces.

I mean sure, depending on what type of grass is being used the hot, sticky conditions of Shanghai will put any living thing to the test. In the world of tennis, the Rolex Shanghai Masters is currently underway and a number of players are retiring due to heat exhaustion and extreme cramping.

We have to assume that weather conditions will also play a huge role this week, in addition to what will be a testy week of putting for these pros.

No offense to any local muni, but these greens are kind of abysmal. The best in the world shouldn’t have to be subjected to these kind of conditions—they deserve better.

If you’re looking to tune into the action this week, play gets underway later tonight, starting at 11:00 p.m ET on NBC Digital.
