SOUTH KENT, Conn. – Hartford Men’s Golf hosted The Battle at Bull’s Bridge this Tuesday, coming off a first place finish at the Conference of New England Championships the previous weekend, the Hawks again would find themselves in front of the pack. As Hartford would take home first out of six teams, in the one round played.
Rapid Recap:
Freshman Manolo Vargas (Medellin, Colombia) and freshman Zack MacMillan (Toronto, Ontario) both finished tied for first, with a score of 74 (+2) coming from both Hawks.
Freshman Tim Kaley (Dalton, Mass.) took home fourth place shooting a 78 (+6).
Freshman Shawn Amari (Townsend, Mass.) would finish in seventh place with an overall score of 79 (+7) after the one round.
Rounding things out for the Hawks, freshman Griffin Lalonde (Montclair, N.J.) finished in tenth place with a score of 81 (+9).
Hartford’s Independent players showed out as well as freshman Brady Sullivan (Hanover, Mass.) finished with a 78 (+6), junior Jake Miller (Townsend, Mass.) finished with a 85 (+13), and sophomore Ethan Archibald (Heath, Texas.) finished with an 89 (+17).
Inside the Numbers:
The Hawks finished with 13 total birdies amongst the one round.
MacMillan secured a eagle for the Hartford on hole 6.

Hartford will play in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship on the weekend of October 18-19, at The Captain’s Course in Brewester, Mass.
