For the first time in the championship’s history, the Egyptian Golf Federation will offer cash prizes for the winners. The 2025 edition will also feature a new Seniors Division, giving golfers of all ages the chance to compete in one of the region’s most respected amateur events.
Preparations are well underway to stage a world-class championship that reflects its 125-year legacy and one of the oldest in the world, dating back to 1920.
The Federation says it aims to deliver a tournament that celebrates Egypt’s golfing heritage while further establishing the country as a leading destination for international sport.
