HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – The University of Hawai’i women’s golf team completed the second round of the Ron Moore Intercollegiate Saturday with a team score of 310.
The Rainbow Wahine have a 602 total through 36 holes and heading into Sunday’s final round. Vanderbilt maintained its lead in the team competition and are 18-under 558, 11 strokes ahead of Colorado and Texas State.
Jasmine Wong was the team’s top scorer for the second straight day, firing a 3-over 75 and is tied for 26th at 2-over 146.
Vanderbilt’s Ava Merrill has a one stroke lead over teammate Elizabeth Rudisill at 7-under 137 in the individual leaderboard.
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are Sofina Firouzi (152, t-59th), Emiko Sverduk (152, t-59th), Maline Kraus (154, t-66th), and Chloe Ku (155, t-75th).
The tournament wraps up on Sunday with an 8:45 a.m. MT shotgun start. UH will be paired with UNLV and San Francisco.
