That’s your golf ball. So, you take that. I’ll take this. What’s this? Like a Pokémon thing? I don’t know. JP gave it to me to I think you put it around your club. I don’t know. I don’t know what it is. So, did I get a mulligan for breakfast? Breakfast ball. Man, that’s a very stiff old swing right there. You shot four on the first or no? You forgot your tea. So Aldri from your year on the PGA, what would you say were what you take from it? It’s gone by pretty quick. It was nice to kind of see the courses that you guys have played over the years and I know it’s changing a lot, but it was good to kind of see what it’s like kind of traveling, kind of learned a lot on Cornfrey last year, but um it was obviously nice to get the victory and get a win early on and kind of open up some doors for the future. Yeah, I mean you played great. What what golf course do you think is the toughest one you played? Cuz I mean like Arnold Palmer. I mean Arnold Palmer’s tough. That was tough. And it was kind of like this weather. It was really cold. Yeah. That’s probably one of the toughest ones. Players was interesting. There’s some decently hard holes. Great setup though, like especially coming in there. The last few holes. Yeah. The last stretch like 18 is just you don’t want to be nervous going into that hole. The nice thing now is that I can kind of pick what I want to play. I mean, you’re definitely going to be freed up a little bit more as well because you can make, you know, a schedule. You can know when you’re going to rest a bit, see how your game is. If you’re playing good, you play a bit more. You’ll have that opportunity with having a full card. So, that’s awesome. Yeah. Looking forward to it. We were very fortunate with getting old in the academy. you know, it wasn’t much to do for him other than just assist or just help where we can cuz he was already molded into, you know, the player he is now. So, we got very lucky with getting him in and and just helped him where we can and things like that and definitely going to be a a superstar. Can’t wait for for him to get into his career. I mean, that young age already being on the tour already have a win. I think that’s everyone’s just excited to to sort of see where it’s going to go. I’m trying to talk him up here so he misses the putt, but that doesn’t happen. Oh, I didn’t hit it. I just got so nervous there. Okay, I’m one down. That’s just how it goes. One down. I still remember I was standing on the teen. You guys were shouting from from your usual spot. We’re in 22. Yeah, beauty. Oh, nice. Very nice. Uhoh. Hopefully there’s no rough out there. So, Lou, what was the the biggest memory of winning here? Winning the open. There’s a few like memories I have. The obviously the eagle putt on nine. Um cuz I’m I made seven pars in a row and then I got to the eighth. I made bogey on eight. Paul at that stage was one or two or one under I think. So um I was one over. So we pulled back to within two shots and then making a like a 50-footer online for for eagle. Yes, I did drive the green. I got there. I know she was thinking then made the eagle and and um sort of pulled a little bit ahead again. So I was fortunate enough to get here with like a I think at the time I had a eight shot lead teeing off on 17. I think the biggest memory was cuz I could take in after my second shot on 17. Biggest thing was to keep it out the road all bunker. Aimed right, took two clubs less, aimed right, pulled it to short left of the bunker, put it to the side, but I sort of could take everything in the hole of the 18th hole. I walked, looked around, I sort of took all that stuff in, saw guys with them South African flags. So, um, that was a nice thing, you know, that I was able to do that. Has anything really changed from 2010 to that t-shirt? Yeah, on 10, we were still up front, the fronties. So, I mean, we were hitting it in that neck, you know. Other than that, not a lot of things changed. This golf course, the the the biggest defense it’s got is the weather. If you play this golf course the way it is now, like today, got no defense. You know, if you don’t shoot six under, it was a It was a poor round, really. So, it’ll be interesting. I don’t think the rough’s going to be up as high as the open. But no, you’re very lucky there. I am pretty lucky here. Okay, we’re going to go old school here. We need to win this. What? We need to win this. [Music] I thought he’s in the bunker. So the first time I actually met him was probably three three and a half years ago when I joined the academy after I won the British uh the British AM here at St. Andrews. Played practice round with him for the first time. Time flies but it’s been it’s been pretty cool. Pretty cool. Yeah, I mean that week was pretty special. I got to play with Ernie as well for the first time and um both of those guys have been special. I can always reach out and they always give me the best advice and always try and help. So, it’s it’s nice to have some good guys around, too. I got a fresh wedge, though. He’s trying to win, mate. He He’s just doing that with the cameras on him. [Music] Oh, left himself one of those. Even he’s left a short go. [Music] Just just snuck in. So all square here it on the green and when it’s downwind I I’d go a little bit to that um tower thing to the tower thingy. Oh good kick. Good kick. So that’s sort of what I did but not on that. There’s not many settings like this one. Yeah. At the open cuz that whole I think that whole left thing is just one massive gallery. The open year feels so much different than playing the Daniel here, but it’s so nice playing the golf course again. So that feeling is great. All right, let’s go make let me let me go make a birdie. No, no, no, no. You don’t have to make a birdie. Winning the British AM and then flying home for only a couple of weeks and then had to come straight out here. It was it was pretty surreal to how quick everything happened. And uh to do that final walk up, I didn’t make the cut. So, uh, on Friday it was pretty special and I I made birdie. So, it was it was a nice finish. Um, but, uh, you don’t you don’t get a lot of moments like that in golf, I don’t think. So, it’s pretty cool. I can hit like a 50° and land it kind of just 5, six over the slope. Go. No, no, no. He nearly made that. That would have been bad. Good for camera, maybe bad for me. Uh, no, you can take that. Thank you. You know, you would think having having him in my academy and stuff that he would give me this, but I’ll just put it. You think it’ll be nice straight uphill. Oh, he’s rammed it. Oh, that speed was a little off. That’s two in a row. Well done. Oh, it was a little speedier, but I love it. Great luck. Do what you got to do. Great line. Thank you. Oh, man.
