What’s up everyone? Welcome back to the Sweet Spot. Today we check out the RPM Friction 16 mm. This company was started by James Ignado, the Pickle Ball Pro. And yeah, this paddle plays really, really well. It’s a Gen 3 paddle. And yeah, very similar to the Yola. So, if you love those paddles, you’ll definitely love this paddle. It plays a little bit softer, but still same power, great touch. And let’s get down to it. The RPM 14 mm elongated has a static weight of 7.8 oz, a swing weight of 113, and a twist weight of 6.2. The 16 mm version has a static weight of 7.9 oz, a swing weight of 117, and a twist weight of 6.4. This will be a quick review cuz this paddle plays just like the YAS. If you love the YAS, you’ll definitely love this paddle. Plays a little softer. same power, has a little bit more dwell time. It is a dash pop beer, but yeah, this paddle is almost like an upgraded uh Yola, and it has more grit. The graphics are super clean, so just the whole team uh Ignado and the whole team just did a really great job on this. The only negative is a 444 PB core, so you can only use the 16 mm for a year. Um, yeah, and the 14 mm is actually 43, so that one’s fine. But yeah, overall it plays just like the Yas. If you love that paddle, then this is no-brainer. They have a widebody version, too. And same thing applies. 16 mm will trampoline a bit versus the 14 mm will hit a little bit flatter. So, there’s not much else to say, but it just is a great paddle and upgraded yola. All right. So, another company I like to highlight is Centerline Athletics. This company definitely competes with Lululemon, Bori, and Fabletics and just any of those athleisure wear. Just Yeah, very buttery overall. High quality zippers. And yeah, this is their track jacket and very comfortable. It is a little bit on the warmer side, so I would say it needs to be a little chilly, but yeah, definitely nice if you need to stay warm. And uh this shirt is actually very comfortable. It has some micro holes in it and um they’re just a lot of airflow. I would say the only complaint I would have is I I wish it was a little bit longer. I do have a long torso, so for me, I want a little longer in length for a shirt. But overall, very comfortable and also their shorts are actually really, really comfortable. These were I was very impressed with. I have Bori shorts, I have Fabletic shorts, Lulu shorts, and yeah, I would say it’s definitely on that same level. Uh, I would say the zippers, yeah, the zippers are nice quality. I would say the pockets, I wish they’re a little wider. I do have relatively big hands, so when I put my hand in, it’s a little tight. Let’s say if I have um pickle balls in there or just my phone, just having to reach in there sometimes a little tight for me. But overall, just Yeah, really great. I actually love their drawstrings. It’s really nice cuz it keeps it like this instead of being separate cuz a lot of times it gets stuck inside. So yeah, they prevented that from happening with this little mechanism. But yeah, definitely check them out. I’ve actually been really impressed with them. And yeah, you can use the code sweet spot for a discount. Thanks everyone for watching.
