think we should ever accept that in golf. Um, I think golf should be held to a higher standard than than what was, you know, than what was seen out there this week. Um, golf has the ability to unite people. Golf teaches you very good life lessons. It teaches you etiquette. It teaches you how to play by the rules. It teaches you how to respect people. Um and you know sometimes this week we didn’t see that. So uh no it this should not be what is acceptable in the RDER Cup. Um but you know we will be making sure to say to our fans in Ireland in 2027 that you know what happened here this week is is not acceptable. And it’s you know I for me it’s you know come and support your home team. you know, come and support your team. You know, I think if I was an American, I would be annoyed that people I didn’t hear a lot of shouts for Scotty today, but I heard a lot of shouts against me. And it’s like support your players, you know, that’s the that’s the thing. So, um, look, it was a rough week for all of us. Um, but at the same time, you know, we we shut them up by our performance and how we played and we we tried to, you know, I I tripped back a few times because it got to me a few times, but we we tried to handle everything that came our way um with class and poise. And for the most part, I felt like we did

  1. the on-going lack of respect and classless wanna-be dictator sheds onto the lower educated masses with the effects we saw here america sucks right now

  2. Rory was treated just as bad in Ryder Cups years and years ago.

Europeans have gone after US golfers in intense manners.

    Why the big outrage now?

  3. I will vouch for the fact that most Americans are entitled assholes with no regard for others. Those who acted poorly have only their parents to blame. But, they won’t as they’re blind to truth. The PGA allows these actions and the PGA should be held accountable as they’re the responsible party.

  4. I agree with Rory – but he also dropped F bombs at the crowd and flipped them off numerous times – so yes Rory, but look in the mirror too.

  5. The USGA should issue a statement on behalf of all USA players that they plan not to return to Bethpage after the conduct of its attendees. Long Island and the surrounding tri-state public don’t deserve to have a Ryder Cup in their backyard if they can’t act like adults.

  6. Rory is right ! Support your team , don't be verbally trashing the opponent . It was just totally low class. The spectators who did it should be embarrassed.

  7. Hats off to Rory for condemning verbal abuse… MEANWHILE none of these crybabies will condemn the daily genocide happening and the daily abuses of power by …oh wait..
Rory was just sending trump messages and etc. Just before this right?? Oh right… yes verbal abuse bad!! 😥😥😥

Genocide in Gaza and a constitutional crisis in America? 😶😶😶😶😶

  8. The action of the Americans just shows you why nobody really likes them they just embarrass themselves every where they go. The must have though that Rory was Shooter McGavin

  9. in any sport, its not because golf is for the posh people that we need to behave normal, just everywhere plz

  10. To be honest America made the Europeans lazer focus and took it away in the 1st 2 days, that was some of the best golf ive ever seen by an away team in the cup, not a good look America

  11. Why not hold the golfers to the "higher standard" the same as the spectators. They are professionals and have hit THOUSANDS of balls in their career. One would think their abilities to remain focused to be so refined, that a pro should should be able to withstand noise and not lose their concentration. They lose it because they want everyone to conform to their expectations. Tiger Woods would go off on a simple shutter click of a camera. Hasn't he and others put in the time to shut out anything but the swing? Same with tennis pros. Follow any other sport and the crowd is part of the action. If they want it that way, do it in a closed forum without TV cameras, sponsors, and enormous paychecks. Much ado about nothing. Prima Donnas.

  12. Rory, You are wise far beyond your years. I just wise the idiots in New York who don't get it (but they will they are about to elect a communist) and never have. The majority love you ,they did not want you to win every other tournament. You still love your football but for the hooligans. Who knew it they have those same Hooligans and you did shut them up.

  13. This is like the younger generation at our club. No etiquette, no rules, no repairs of divots, or ball marks. Entitled! Selfish! Rude!

  14. As a regular American that loves the game. I was ashamed of those drinks acting like children that need to be punished. I am a big fan of you Rory. I am sorry for what happened.

  15. I started teaching my son very early and the one thing I can say he is a gentleman. Respectful. How not to throw clubs around when he gets mad. It was the best thing I did. He loves the sport.

  16. Exactly, the PGA is not the UFC!
The European team are all gentlemen and scholars! The American team played extremely well, despite the rude and crude fans. Salute to the European team!
