Hey guys, welcome back to Modern Golf. Hope you’re having a great day and even better week. Today we’re talking about the best golf bags in the golf industry for 2025 going into 2026. We have tested over 82 different golf bags this year. Uh from stand to ultra lightweight to cart and really everything in between. We’re there’s a lot to cover so I’m going to be very quick. Uh but this is a very fun video of the best golf bags. so far. So, the first topic up is going to be the best rookie. So, we have a number of brand new golf bags this year uh that we’re really excited about and we reviewed and tested and all that good stuff, but there was two that really stood out for us. Um and the first one is Pacific Sunday. And if you remember these, these are the bags that were one of 100 uh fully waterproof, very cool, crazy designs. Absolutely love this golf bag. Uh still one of our favorites for the year by far. The other one that we had just done maybe a month or so ago, and that’s afternoon golf bags. And I truly believe this is going to change the way golf bags are done going forward. This is where you buy the core, then you can buy the skins, and you can change the skins as you want to go. Currently, they’re all in fabric material. They will at some point, we’ve been told, go into PU leather, uh, or imitation leather. So, very cool. But those get our two best for rookies for this year. Now, let’s talk about kids golf bags. Two bags that we absolutely love. One is literally right behind me. Uh the Sunday golf uh the recess bags again, super fun. A lot of cool ways you can kind of customize them. Love everything with Sunday golf is rolling out in really 24 and 25. Some crazy good stuff. The other one we do is Vessels Kids Bag and I’ll put it up here. A little pricier version than obviously this one. Uh built like a tank. You’ll have no issues with these. If your son or daughter want to play like mom or dad who have a vessel bag, this is a great great option for them. These are our two favorite kids bags this year. Now, let’s talk about Best Ingenuity. Who have we seen that’s kind of changed what we thought of a golf bag uh and really what we all thought of. And there’s really one brand that you guys had very mixed reactions to, which I love. Um, and that’s Never Lose. Never lose is this bag get to me and I’ll put it up here. Kind of looks like Game of Thrones. Uh very unique, very different. The clubs kind of clip in. I know a lot of people knock this golf bag. What I would tell you is don’t knock it until you try it. It is really fun to use, super easy to uh to use. Um and again, we just played a couple weeks ago with a guy that had lost his wedge on five of the last six holes. If he had a bag like Never Lose, I’m pointing because it’s over here. uh never lose uh would know he was missing a club or not. Maybe he’s unaware. So anyway, that’s our that’s our favorite golf bag brand for Ingenuity for this year. Now, we’re going to get into ultra lightweight. What are the ultra lightweight best I wouldn’t say the best walking bags, but the ultra light best walking bags? Like what would we suggest? We’re going to do this in kind of two different sections. First one is going to be kind of what I consider the par3practice bags. And there’s two we absolutely love. Uh the Sunday golf loma and it’s in in 5,000 different finishes and fabrics and materials. Uh love everything about this bag. The other one we really enjoy is the Ghost Weekender. Uh the Ghost Weekender was my most used golf bag last year between practice and and indoor golf and and testing equipment and everything in between. We love this golf bag. Uh, it’s a very kind of quirky golf bag that actually will clip on to back of a cart bag. Uh, super high-end material, same materials as their higherend bags. Uh, a million pockets, but again, one of our favorites and still this year, one of our favorite ultra lightweight golf bags. So, if you need to carry more than seven or eight clubs, what do you do? Three options we absolutely love, and here they are. First one up is the Jones Rover. Uh we did a review about a year or so ago in the black and camo. Uh love that golf bag. Super minimalistic. Really like every feature about it. Um you know, if you don’t need a ton of storage, this is a great golf bag. The other one we really like is the Sunday Rider. And the Sunday Rider comes in a lot of different finishes. Um so you can even say the ultra light Sunday rider is a great option. And we did it the review. Ours is in the yellow. I’m also a huge fan of their standard PU colors and really a big fan of their waterproof material one. And I’ll put this up in here. I think they call it the rainroof, but absolutely love that. The other one that we really like that’s kind of in that world, but may also go in the next category, but we’ll leave it where it is, and that’s the Minimal MR2. Uh we had just reviewed it. If you’re literally watching this in early October, we had literally just reviewed uh the MR2 not too long ago, a week or so ago. Absolutely love that golf bag. very neat details. Um, a little bit above and and let’s say more than needed uh for a stand bag like that, but really like that. So, the last one on this list is the MR2. Now, let’s talk about kind of standard weight walking golf bag. So, I don’t need something super minimalistic, but I want something a little more heavyduty. Um, but I can put storage. I have room for my raincoat and other stuff and snacks and and what have you. So, three that we absolutely love. The first one shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody, but it really kind of gets slept on and that’s the Vessel Air and I have the Air in the kind of a charcoal gray. Um, love this golf bag. Every time someone comes here and wants to test a golf bag, that’s the one that everybody wants to test. Uh, 14way, I think, or sevenway or sixway top. Uh, we have the 14-way. Absolutely great golf bag under 400 bucks. You can use discount codes, uh, especially Black Friday coming up in a month or so. Use that. Great golf bag. Comes in a number of colors. really enjoy the Vessel Airbag. Two other ones that we love, one of them being my most used and maybe my favorite personal bag of the year. Um, and that’s the Sunday Golf Ranger. And I’m going to take a second because I did a review, I don’t know, eight months ago, nine months ago, this bag, and really liked it, but didn’t really wasn’t 100% sure of it. It has become a fan favorite within Modern Golf. uh but between myself and the other guys who test it, everybody has absolutely loved the Ranger. Um from the very unique sixway top, the storage uh just everything about that golf bag we have really really enjoyed. So the second one on this list for the kind of ultra uh I would say like the Swiss Army kn Swiss Army knife of golf bags would be the Sunday Ranger. And the last one on this list would be the Jones Trooper and we did the 3.0 you know, uh really like that golf bag. Fantastic with the new putter pit. So, you get your big lab putters uh out of the way, which we absolutely love. But that’s the other one that we really, really liked uh for this year with that kind of ultra, not ultra lightweight, but that midweight walking golf bag. Now, we’re going to go to stand bags, and I’m going to call them premium, but under 300 bucks. So, if you use our discount code or you find them on sale, you can get them under 300 bucks, and these are, we think, the best of the best. First one is the brand new Caddyy Daddy. Uh, I think they call it their hybrid bag. Uh, again, I can’t put pricing up here because I’ll get in trouble, but if you check our link, our link tree or anything else, you’ll be able to see exactly what the price is with our discount. Uh, sub 300 bucks, probably around the 250 range, 240 range. Phenomenal golf bag. Uh, has a putter pit, incredible qualities, metal, uh, padded material. It’s like nothing else that’s in this space, but really high-end and a phenomenal golf bag. The other one we really like um and and it’s out on loan as we would say uh is the Ask Echo and their Luxe stand. Um again under 400 bucks. This black quilted material that everybody loves. It’s a phenomenal golf bag. Has a unique 14-way top. Not my favorite. The team really likes this one a lot. It’s a very cool features. Has that putter clip in. Just a really really overall fantastic golf bag. The last one I and I shouldn’t say least because it’s certainly not least on this list, uh, is the pins and aces bag. And we originally did that bright green stand bag for them back in the day. I think it was a five or seven way top at the time. They have now 14-way. Uh, we have just kind of updated our review recently of how what we thought of that golf bag. Pins and aces. If you use our discount code, you get I think it’s 20% off. You know, you’re talking about a $300 some bag that you can get in the 250 260 range. It is as good as anything out there that’s double the price. Um, so if you’re looking for a golf bag uh that has really cool looks, uh, it’s kind of like a couple brands got married and this is like their love child. Um, and and you understand if you know what I mean with these golf bags, u, but really really like pins and aces. Fantastic golf bag. The thing I will tell you guys, and you’ve heard this from me before, if there’s a certain color way you like and it’s not white and black, gray and black, black and black, or they’re white and blue with their kind of red, white, and blue, get it because they don’t last long. Every bag they do is limited besides those four colors. Um, but really solid and great golf bags. So, now let’s get into the premium, the plus $400 golf bags. And which ones do we which ones do we really really like? First one is the Sun Mountain 14way Match Play. uh we had in the white. Uh absolutely love the bag. I was really shocked to kind of see this. This is quite a progression um for Sun Mountain with the way they’ve done their golf bags in the last few years. Really like this golf bag. The only thing I personally would change was I would like to see a a putter pit in it. The 14-way top is a little odd. You you know putters are gotten so big that we have to kind of make space for them. Um the other one that we absolutely love that I get more comments and compliments on than anything else uh is our ghost bag. And I use the Sia a lot, which is the white one. I also have the Katana, which we used a ton uh last year. Kind of gave a little bit of rest this year. Love everything about these golf bags. Besides, I would like a little more storage if they made that paddle a little bigger, you know, put a little more storage. Uh it would be almost an ideal golf bag for me. My favorite top in the golf space for sure. Their 14-way top is is second to none. It literally is the best 14-way top there is. Love everything that Ghost does. I love that you come with two different straps and uh just like I said, really really enjoy that golf bag. The other one that we really like and and I’d be remiss if I didn’t say this was probably the king of golf bags and that’s the Vessel Players 5 Pro and you can get this, we have it in DXR, I’ve got in white, I’ve gotten black. Uh I also have the non um Pro version which is usually between that and my uh Sunday Ranger or the golf bags that if I’m not testing, those are the ones I use. And that’s not to diminish anything else. Those are just the ones that I really enjoy using. Um, but the Players 5 Pro, I mean, I could spend the next 25 minutes talking about Vessel and what they’ve done to this industry, especially for golf bags. But best golf bag, best quality, um, best materials, best functionality. The only thing I don’t love their 14-way top. Um, this this is a true hybrid of a golf bag. Uh, this is could you walk with this bag? 100%. But this is a true hybrid where literally um the top has almost gotten to a point where it’s almost uh comical. It’s a 10 and a half I want to say inch top. So it’s really big. Um but great if you have oversized grips or jumbo grips. This is the bag I will point you to and anyone in my team will point you to uh that’s probably the best stand bag per se um in the industry. Now let’s talk about cart bags. And again we’re going to go sub 300 over 300. Uh sub 300. My team really really likes these three. um the Ask Echo, uh this guy, the TL lock, um because you can get it really inexpensive, under 200 bucks. It’s a phenomenal golf bag. We see these all the time we play and always makes us laugh. Um the other bag we really like is a Sun Mountain C130. Again, one of our absolute favorites. Uh under 300 bucks. I think it’s around 250. There’s a new version coming out. We’re excited. We’ll have that here for you guys shortly. And the other one is the Caddyy Daddy uh cart bag. Again, under 300 bucks. Use our discount. you get even for less. Phenomenal golf bag, incredible quality, comes in a few different colors. Uh you will not be disappointed on that PU side of things. Now, the exclusive the the the sub the sub300 uh we talked about. Let’s go above 300. And these are 300 up to five something. Uh the first one I absolutely love and my team loves. And I’m going to preface this a little bit. So my team knows they can use any of these bags and any of the equipment when we want to test them. There are a number of bags they know they cannot touch. One of them is the Sunday Big Rig. And there’s something about the Sunday Big Rig that I absolutely love. Uh we have in the white. We did it about a year or so ago. Um phenomenal golf bag. So many compartments. Love the top. Love the rubber material. Love everything about this golf bag. Um so for one in the sub above 300 uh price point is the Sunday Big Rig. The other one is the one we recently did. Uh, and my team was really taken back by this bag. They really have enjoyed this and that is the Ask Echo. I think it’s the SLC130 or something to that degree. And this is the exclusive colorway. This is the black on black with that kind of cool we call crazy top where the clubs kind of get stuck in there. Some people like it, some people hate it. I get it. Um, that’s one of our favorites as well. And the last one that really gets the one that gets probably the most run from everybody is the Ghost. Uh, the GT14. Everyone wants to use the GT-14. This is such an e weird golf bag. Because some of you love the logos and some of you say, “I I don’t want the Pac-Man uh ghost on golf bag.” I get it. What I tell people is if you get the black on black colorway, the ghosts are kind of disappeared. The other other thing, too, once you put that bag uh in a golf cart, the ghosts kind of disappear. So, it’s not much to worry about. So, those are our three those are our best cart bags for over 300. So, real quickly, I want to go over a couple notes. Um, I asked our team, “What’s our what’s your favorite bag of the year?” Um, and I had three kind of responses. Uh, one was interesting that I was kind of surprised at. First one up, uh, by I think everybody on our team, Sunday Ranger, people loved it. Uh, absolutely loved it. Uh, number two was going to be um the Vessel Players 5 Pro. A lot of people like the DXR version. Uh, so you kind of get the best of it’s lighter weight and all that stuff. So, you really like that. And the other one was the Ask Echo, which is the brand new one, which is very interesting to me. Um, cuz literally we just had this bag for a month or so. U, but very interesting. I know some of you are going to say, “How could you leave Vessel out for their new cart bag?” Again, we’re shooting this uh almost the same day when they’re launching those bags, so we don’t have them. So, I don’t like to include uh bags that we haven’t tested because we may like them, we may not. Um so, but it’s no it’s not a slight against Vessel or any other brands that we haven’t tested yet. Uh those are just uh how it goes. At some point, I’ve got to we’ve got to record videos. I can’t wait forever. So, anyway, so I hope you guys enjoyed this.
