The path for young Australian golfers just got a major technological upgrade. Rapsodo, a leader in golf performance technology, announced today a new partnership with Golf NSW and the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation (JNJG), becoming their official Technology Partner.
The collaboration is set to revolutionize how junior golfers across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory train, giving thousands of young players access to cutting-edge performance data and analytics previously reserved for elite professionals.
Empowering the Next Generation
For nearly four decades, the JNJG has been the bedrock of junior golf development in Australia. Founded by the late golf legend Jack Newton OAM, the organization runs the country’s largest junior development program, managing an extensive calendar of tournaments and school initiatives. As the recognized junior pathway arm of Golf NSW, JNJG nurtures talent from beginner stages all the way up to elite competition.
“Jack Newton Junior Golf has built the largest junior development program in Australia, and we’re honoured to support their mission,” said Matthew Rigby, Director of International Markets at Rapsodo. “Our goal is to empower the next generation of golfers with the same technology trusted by professionals and coaches worldwide, making performance data accessible and impactful from the earliest stages of a golfer’s journey.”
World-Class Tech Goes Grassroots
A key component of the partnership will be the integration of Rapsodo’s MLM2PRO Launch Monitor + Golf Simulator technology into school programs, junior events, and coaching sessions. The device provides precise ball flight data and advanced analytics, allowing players and coaches to gain data-driven insights to train smarter.
Mark Ingrey, General Manager – Regional NSW/ACT for Golf NSW and Jack Newton Junior Golf, hailed the announcement as an “exciting step forward.”
“Golf NSW and JNJG has always been about opening doors for young people to discover and enjoy the game of golf,” Ingrey said. “Partnering with Rapsodo brings world-class technology into that experience, giving juniors the chance to train with the same insights used by the very best players. It’s an exciting step forward in preparing our juniors for success on and off the course.”
The new partnership perfectly aligns with Rapsodo’s mission to support golfers at every level. This commitment is exemplified by LPGA Tour professional and Rapsodo ambassador Stephanie Kyriacou, a former JNJG Junior and NSW Junior State Team Member, who followed the very pathway Rapsodo is now investing in.
Through this partnership, today’s junior golfers have access to the same technological tools used by the game’s elite, preparing them to potentially follow in the footsteps of Australia’s best.
