Can confirm. I was next to someone at the range with one of those drivers once. I now suffer from tinnitus.

How did they measure accurately in 1883 ????

Still looking for a Sasquatch in Europe. I want to scare the crap out of people on the DR. But they are hard to find.

I got this driver from my dad when he could no longer golf and I still love the reaction the first time I hit it in front of someone new. Every drive sounds like it’s going 400!

This is so funny to me. Totally didn’t realize what sub I was in for a moment.

My brother had one and it sounded better when he hit it on the heel than the center.

  6. Would love to see an actual measurement of how loud the Sasquatch is.

I work around bands all the time, so I’m kinda used to loud, but that driver was one of the most painful sounds I’ve ever heard. Always stuck my fingers in my ear when a buddy hit his.

I have a KZG titanium driver from back then too and I remember reading that titanium drivers registered around 140db so a bit less than a jet takeoff. In a 2 story concrete structure range in SEA the sound was insanely loud. I still use it to practice, and it hits as far as my modern stick.
