Long time lurker here but wanted to share my (mostly) completed garage sim setup! I wish I had taken more pictures along the way, but super happy with how it came out. I had never though a sim was possible in my home but realized I could raise the rafters of my 16×25 garage enough to get to an ~9ft 7inch ceiling height, which works for my swing From there, it was off to the races. Garage was unfinished, so raising the ceiling and then finishing it myself was 90% of the work and it was painful to have all of the simulator components sitting in boxes for months while I completed the garage work first.
It's been an absolute blast so far and my wife, who has only golfed a few times with me in the last 5 years, is in the sim almost as much as I am!
Remaining To-Do's: 1) Small shelf for the mouse/keyboard, 2) Simple wall rack for clubs, 3) Install mini-split (Chicago area… so need it for the winter), 4) Install foam panels on right side wall
Cheers!

Looks great. Very professional
Just curious about what it was like raising the rafters? That seems like a bit more involved than a quick DIY project. Any tips or ideas?
Looks amazing though. I’ve got to share space in my garage with my roomie but I get half for a good practice area with my Uneekor eye mini and a TV.
That escalated quickly, looks great!
What did you spend?
