If this is true that’s disgraceful and explains why the euros knew the greens.

    “100% Verified”

I swear there’s no way I’m making this up

Idk I guess we’ll see but the way it’s written makes it seem less trustworthy

  3. BrachGolf

I was there Wednesday and the Americans only practiced 9 holes

  4. DontGetTheShow

If it’s true, then it’s a bad look. It’s also absolutely true that the greens generally don’t have much break. There was no rough to speak of such that you didn’t really have to know where not to miss it and where the bad spots were. It’s not like this is Augusta and you really had to think and know your way around. It was pretty much just fire at the pin and try to make the putt. IMO just the super easy setup to begin with was the mistake – and probably far less impactful was the amount of practice rounds. It was basically the easiest course they played this entire year.

If this is true it’s a bad look. Especially as this is the first year team USA are getting paid to play in the competition. I feel like preparation is part of the deal.

  6. dr_shastafarian

lol seems the fans are taking this more seriously than the players.

  7. AceCircle990

Hey at least the American team got to collect a paycheck, priorities.

  8. Particular-Bonus-891

The ol’ “i know a guy”

  9. mcdaawg92

I seriously doubt there is any truth to this.

  10. Expert_Wave_2797

Pablo Torre needs to get on this!

  11. tonupboys

Fire everyone in the trump administration

  12. The Americans just can’t play together…period! Our golfers seem to lack the inherent ability to play for their partners.

  13. junkyardgerard

Wow if only people cared about their government as much as they cared about their Ryder cup team amirite

  14. meatbulbz2

They need to get fringe korn ferry dudes. Guys whose lives depend on it. 10year tour card if you win the Ryder cup. Scottie doesn’t give af

  15. ruggerid

Steve Lowry said playing in the Ryder Cup meant more to him than WINNING the Open on his home soil. The Ryder Cup means everything to the Euros, not to the Americans.

  16. Snak-Attack

I had to unfollow this Rick guy months ago, find him super annoying. Seems to really be trying to make a name for himself because he’s a rich dude with tons of time in his hands to play nice courses everywhere.

  17. ashdrewness

Well considering the American who knew that course better than anyone (Cam Young) because he spent his whole youth playing events there played great, there might be something to this…

  18. CurtSlaterMD

Well, plus a) Keegan is an idiot (and whiny) and b) Europe just beat their asses

  19. ComicsEtAl

I feel they represented Trumpmerica to a “tee.”

  20. peterwhitefanclub

Top 100 Rick is on the case.

  21. sigh2828

I mean i felt like I had picked up on that “just happy to be here” vibe after the first rounds on Friday.

The euros hit the ground SPRINTING and it genuinely felt like the Americans were confused as to why the Euros were taking it so seriously.

Idk if this guy’s word is true or not but, I dont really feel like I even need it to say that the Americans definitely looked unprepared and uninterested on Friday

  22. BatMean2045

There is little doubt the US players do not treat this as a life and death event.
Oh, they want the accolades of being on the team, for their resumes, but demanding money was a tell.
They want to win, but as much as an individual win on tour?
    No way.

  23. Europe literally made damn near every putt they looked at for 4 rounds straight. You can’t summon the ability to make every single putt to just tie holes no matter how much you practice. Europe was on a legendary heater

  24. tnred19

Its not like the Americans were aiming at different places than the Europeans. The Europeans just executed amazingly. Every time you turned around on Friday and Saturday, one of them was knocking it to 5 feet.

  25. DixieNormas011

I didn’t think it was really a secret that team USA usually doesn’t take the Ryder Cup as serious as the Europeans do. It’s always seemed like the ultimate goal for Europe to keep that trophy, whereas it’s just a fun weekend tournement with the boys for the Americans.

  26. Jaglawyer11

But but but Keegan is from the area and will be able to get the crowd excited…..

  27. No_Albatross916

I got downvoted earlier but it’s just apparent Europe cares more and puts more effort into the Ryder cup than the USA team does

This is all the way from the captains to the players

  28. Practical_Garlic3015

I’ll take “not surprising at all” for $500, Ken

  29. Pretty-Efficiency80

Seriously it’s over. Let it go. Two more years to do it again. It will be okay. I’m sure half the US players won’t be the same either.

  30. No-Marketing658

Wheres Brandel when you need him to make a comment? lol

  31. SweaterNip

Just makes me excited for next time. Maybe US will take it seriously next time after this major ass whooping. Showed them they NEED to practice instead of running on ego. Embarrassing enough to light a real fire.

  32. it_is_good82

Surely in modern US tradition you just claim that you won and that the reported scoreboard is fake news put out by the lamestream media?

  33. LabSouth

Europe cares more about the Ryder cup than Americans, more at 11

  34. ReedDickless

I know for a fact the Europeans were more well prepared WEEKS in advance.

Luke Donald had everything planned out to a T. He wanted to know what guys wanted and what the caddies wanted in between the morning and afternoon sessions. He was talking about linens and soaps. He did everything he could to make his guys feel at ease off the course.

Not saying Keegan didn’t plan and prep, but it wasn’t to the level of Donald (that we’ve heard of).

  35. BradyToMoss1281

This would be in character for that team. They’re 3-9 in the last 12 Ryder Cups while getting to play with the best players in the world. That’s not just bad luck and tough bounces, as much as some people want to make it seem.

  36. Confident_Yogurt1787

The Americans probably wanted paying to practice more
