The 2025 Ryder Cup is the 45th edition and runs between September 25 – September 28. Luke Donald is the European Team Captain and Keegan Bradley is the U.S. Team Captain. The European Team are the reigning champion after winning 16 ½ – 11 ½ at Marco Simone in 2023. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.

It’s the third point on the board for team Europe. A dominant win, the third dominant win we just had in the last 20 minutes. Ludvig, how significant is it for Europe to take down the world number one this morning? Uh yeah, I had a great partner. I think that speaks to it. But uh yeah, we we came out of the gates early bird number one, which is nice. And then uh we played good golf. We we hit a lot of nice shots. Um and yeah, made it hard for him today, which was good. You guys showed a lot of passion out there. Matt, this is your first point in the foroms format. You proved a lot this morning. What was it that Luke saw in this duo that clearly has paid off? Uh I mean, you know, we we’ve obviously I played well last few months. Love Vig’s not stopped playing well since he turned pro. So um yeah, obviously it was it was a nice mix of um you know, Ter Green and and good putting as well. And obviously I felt like we showed that on that those certainly those first seven holes.
