Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester golf course is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible for costly vandalism.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says the golf course owner estimates $11,000 in damages was done to the Oak Summit Golf Course over the weekend.
Vandal Causes $11,000 in Damages at Oak Summit Golf Course in Rochester, Reward Offered
Deputies responded to the property at 2751 County Road 16 SW around 7:00 Saturday morning. The damage is believed to have occurred shortly after 1 a.m.
A video posted on the Oak Summit Golf Course Facebook page shows the damage. Vehicle tracks are seen across the Hole 10 green and fairway, which runs along County Rd. 16 SW.

“We believe the vehicle is rusty 3/4 ton crew cab pick up thinking it’s grey in color or a similar vehicle,” the post says. The vehicle is believed to have come from the east then headed east after tearing up the 10th hole.
Oak Summit says they’re offering a $2,000 reward for anyone who turns in the person responsible for the costly damage.
“Please call 507-252-1808 and leave your name and number and any information you have with our staff. Or contact the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department,” the Facebook post says.
