He did make a jump from 110 in the FedEx Cup rankings to 53. So, he’s pretty solidly into the field of 70 for next week. Um, still looking for the first win for a tri bet. Tony almost finished dead last. So, my apologies. It didn’t matter who fell apart over the weekend. Yeah. And our our spear bets none of us hit either. So, not a great tournament overall for for my spirit. Sorry. I’m gonna start I’m gonna start switching my tribe bet to spear bets honestly just so that I could win something from now on my final tribe bet I’m like last minute I’m just going to go all right now this guy’s going to go over here because I actually want to win I want to win somebody here don’t we all tried to tell us a couple weeks ago tell us again tell us again winning right I think we didn’t think about this last week but we really wasn’t on our radar Our last Monday night was the premiere of Happy Gilmore I 2. So a lot of those guys came straight from the open to New York. Tony Feno among them. They played in that tournament and they went straight to Minnesota after that. So he didn’t have a whole lot of prep slash probably was all his sleep was all off. Hand up. We got we got to know these guys. Ian, that’s actually on you. You’re the WAG follower. You follow I was just about to say so it was on your fault. Sorry. I saw the content. I saw the content on the way. I was going to say that this is collectively our fault, but I’m reversing. It’s all your fault. You are the wag correspondent. I I will take the hit. I will take the hit on the fen. Yep. E. You could blame me for that one. The rest of you I got nothing for you. Wait, Max Gryman wasn’t at the premiere. I thought he was in the movie. Ameliano Glo, he wasn’t actually. He Yeah, he got in. Whatever. No, different guy. Well, couple quick notes on the um um talking about Kirk Kittyama, the winner had 32 birdies on the entire event, 20 of them on Saturday and Sunday, which is just absolute bananas, which I want to talk about. Chris got her up more in a little bit, but he finished T10, but it didn’t matter. Like, no one there there were so many guys that were going so low, but 20 birdies on Saturday and Sunday, it didn’t matter if you had your best stuff. This guy was just throwing darts, just every single pin on Saturday and Sunday. There’s no caution for anything. He was just feeling it. And really cool that he had his brother on the bag. I love that kind of stuff. The two of them kind of celebrating the win. Kittyama’s second win as a pro. So really cool for him. I didn’t know he jumped up that much. So cool for him if he can get inside the top 50. Like you said, we got one event left. If he can get in there, really cool for him. One interesting little tidbit. The second year in a row, how do I phrase this? Kittyama won by one um over S. Who? Who won? Who do you beat? Matt Matt Wallace. Wallace. Thank you. So, Kitty won by one over Wallace. Last year, Johnny Vegas won by one over Max Razerman. The affforementioned Max Grazerman, who never got mentioned once on this podcast, is now getting a lot of screen time. So, back-to-back events where you have a oneshot winner. So clearly something in the air over there. Guys are going super low. Cool for them. And then I’m going to deviate from the from the 3M for a second. Shout out to our FSU girl, Lonnie W. Huge win in her first career start as a LPJ professional. Becomes one of three women to win in their pro debut. Got to go back two years. Rose Zang did it in 2023. And then you got to go back to like the 70s. So, she’s one of three women to pull off that feat. And yeah, she was awesome. Huge shout out SU shout out. Good for her. Um, good for Kittyama. Good event. Last thing I’ll say before I pass off to someone else out of the tournament was Happy Gilmore on Thursday. I don’t know if any of you boys saw this. And Kazy going into 18 hits going into the green on 18. He’s coming up like 20 yards short and hits the massive floating logo in the middle of the pond. Ball bounces off the logo and hits the green. Rolls off the green into the back. So, you know, saved him a stroke from going into the water, but just like so on quue. It was literally out of the Happy Gilmore. It was hilarious. But yes, we got a little bit of everything at the 3M. Yeah, he um it hit it. It was part five, so then he was on in two. He chipped and he ended up burning the hole. Yeah. wasn’t going to happen obviously if that went in and then they moved that like 25 feet right after that I say because they were like apparently this is too close in play so they moved it further into that uh that was nuts um so it wouldn’t go back onto the the green I’ll be quick conditions were insanely soft this weekend um they’re throwing darts I mean everything was just plop plop plop nothing spinning nothing bouncing Kirkyama was just put on a clinic just shaping the ball too I mean he plays a towering draw and it was just pin hunting um and like you said JC the the 20 birdies over the weekend. The 60 on Saturday set him up for Sunday. Couple of guys who were up at the top. A Batia I think he finished four over yesterday. He did not play well. A lot of people kind of came out of nowhere. Had low days. But this I feel like Kirk Kittyama is going to be like every two years. He’s just going to win one tournament. He won the Arnold Palmer two years ago. Gave yeah Bay. So yeah, he won it and he was kind of like you say he was like 110. So, he’s kind of on the cusp of, you know, he’s pretty close to not being guaranteed his car for next year. Um, and then he wins this. So, yeah, he’s good for another another two years. And like you said, super cool to have his brother in the bag. Apparently, I don’t know how true this is. His brother’s LinkedIn page is like he’s open to work. Don’t know how much he’s open to work now after after this weekend. So, here’s the uh the kitty. Yeah, I I saw I saw a great stat on uh on Sunday as well regarding the most golf balls in the water and on the last two holes of a finishing PGA event is the 3M over. Can you can you guess the other two events? Players. Yep. And then what’s the one after that? Same course every year. Tour style. Same course every year. Yeah. Masters. Masters. No. Water balls. PJ National. Uh yeah. Mhm. You’re getting things right. Go on. Yeah. No, that’s it. That’s it. Yeah. So, crazy uh crazy event. Crazy event to have that many golf balls in the last two. Uh shout out to our boy uh Nappy Time. Jake Nap who uh big fan big fan of that buttery swing. He went for it on 18. Just just came up a little short. Had to. Hurt hurt to watch, but he hit it well and just misjudged it. I feel like he he comes up just a hair short at that last moment. It’s never putting though that’s the issue for him, which which I think it’s going to do him justice once he does dial in those short irons. But for now, keep chugging away, buddy. I’m rooting for you. You’re still in my roster. You’re not on the DMB for me, so keep it up. I I just want to point out one thing about Kirk Kittyama. after shooting 60 on Saturday for him to follow up the front nine. I saw that he shot 29 on his front nine on Sunday. I mean, well, the first three holes were playing super easy. So, a bunch of guys were going birdie birdie birdie and it kind of just set the tone for the rest of the course for them. Yeah. I mean, I was just looking through here. So, there was the 260s by Kurt and who was the other one here? Adam Spencson. There were three 62s shot and then there were 763s shot. Soft soft conditions, man. It’s wild. It’s wild to think 20 under was was top three. We had Kittyama hit one on Sunday. It was on 14 out of a fairway bunker that just like you were saying, John, there was no spin, no anything. It just landed like two feet from the pin. It was an insane shot. And then I mean, you got to give him credit on 18. He puts it into the bunker and he’s got an awkward stance and you know no sweat, no problem. Probably the shot of the tournament you know like you’re saying John he’s playing for his card and you know huge pressure moment for him. You know he’s only got the one shot shot lead at that point but just you know no problem two putts to win and he gets it done. So yeah I mean hard to argue that he was the best player this this weekend all four days really. Yeah I think the best player won. Yeah you guys see number number 14. Is that what you’re talking about? Yeah, the out of the fairway bunker on
