PGA Tours announced their new schedule for the 2026 season starting on January 5th with the Century in Hawaii and finishing on August 30th with the Tour Championship in Atlanta with the addition of a new signature event at Trump Deral on the Blue Monster called the Miami Championship. Ted Scott will be returning to Scotty Sheffller’s bag as his caddy for the Tour Championship in Atlanta this week following his absence last week due to a personal matter with Mike Cromy, Chris Kirk’s caddy, taking over during the final round of the BMW Championship last week. Rory Mroy revealed that the Masters merch shop had 1100 flags left over at the end of the tournament and decided to take all of them home with him to commemorate his win this year. Billy Horchel will be officially returning to competitive golf at the BMW PGA Championship next week on the DP World Tour following his hip surgery and recovery over the last few months. A man was struck by lightning at Pinchbook Golf Course in New Jersey on Sunday around 6 p.m. and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He’s recovering now, but this is just comes a few weeks after another person was struck by lightning on a golf course in New Jersey. RBC has resigned a multi-year partnership to continue hosting the RBC Heritage and RBC Canadian Open on the PGA Tour.
