The 2025 Ryder Cup is the 45th edition and runs between September 25 – September 28. Luke Donald is the European Team Captain and Keegan Bradley is the U.S. Team Captain. The European Team are the reigning champion after winning 16 ½ – 11 ½ at Marco Simone in 2023. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.

Gentlemen, many congratulations on a fantastic one, an incredibly tight match. Victor, there are always key moments, turning points in matches. You hold a putt at 17. Just describe that one for us cuz that was crucial. Yeah, that was big. Um, hit a terrible head iron there to to spin it back down the hill and left Bob in a in a tough spot there, but uh I was glad I was able to contribute on that hole and and at least secure half a point and then obviously getting the job done on 18 was was incredible. It was a great match all day. Bob, your first ride a cup away from home, your first point. Obviously delighted with that, but just describe what it’s like to play in this. I can only call it hostile because it is hostile. Ask for me to fear out here. Yeah, it’s difficult, especially when you get in over this side of the road. Um, but you know, we’ve got guys like this to back you up, the guys in the in the changing room, the support staff, family, friends, and our our fans as well. So, look, we’re doing this for for not just ourselves, but for everyone that’s here. Um, but yeah, just delighted to do it with with this guy. Oh, man. Victor, when we chatted earlier in the week, you said you were fueled by the disappointment of Whistling Strokes. You didn’t win a full point there. The team obviously lost heavily. Just how sweet is this moment for you personally? Oh, it’s so good. Uh, especially after Rome, it kind of went as good as it could have gotten for for for our team, but we were very motivated to do the same over here. And uh so far we’re we’re doing the job, but uh there’s still a long ways to go and we just got to keep uh our uh foot down and and keep playing well. Really appreciate your time.
