I Can’t Leave Until I Beat the DPHQ Mini Golf Course Record

I’m back. That’s right. I drove all the way back down from Iowa for one solitary thing to break the DPHQ mini golf course record. Currently, the lead is shared by three gentlemen. Tyler Tony, Garrett Hilbert, and some Coleman dude. Gary Gary Coleman with a 12 under par. Impressive scores indeed. But will they still be standing by the end of today? There’s only one way to find out. It’s a pretty good hook, isn’t it? Last time I only gave myself 2 hours, so this time I cannot leave until the DPHQ mini golf course record is mine. Hey Siri, how long does it take to become an expert at something? Here’s an answer from indeed.com. There’s no definitive answer. While some suggest that devoting 10,000 hours, let’s get started. [Music] Well, this could be a long day. Now, if there’s one thing that I learned from the last time I played this course, you have to get a hole in one on one and two in order to have any shot. So, I’m going to restart every single time I don’t get hole in ones on one and two. Huh? Really? I think they changed the course since I’ve been here last time. It’s got to be it. Can’t be my fault. And we’re off. Starting to get nervous there for a little bit. This one gave me trouble last time. And it still has. It still has. There it is. There’s the line. There it is. No. It’s all right. Nobody knew that I was still here. I got to figure out how to turn these lights off. And then I’m hoping that uh alarms don’t go off on me when I walk out the door. I feel better now. The uh the maintenance man just got here. That is it for the night. We didn’t break the record, but we did get on the leaderboard, so I feel pretty good about that. Anytime you put 14 hours of work in, that’s that’s a pretty good work day. But we’re going to go get some sleep. Get back at it tomorrow. Here’s my water bottle graveyard. No joke. All right. And get this, I took 26,900 steps today and burned over,200 active calories. I’m going to I’m going to need every single one of these calories. So, I’m going to eat this, shower, get some sleep, and wake up ready in the morning. It is day two. We are back at it. I did not sleep very well last night. Every single part of my body hurts right now after those 27,000 steps yesterday. Um, but I’m hoping against hope that today we have a different result. I didn’t want to have to do it. But I brought out the tiger goat hat today. So, you know, that’s that’s pretty much an automatic win. Okay, let’s get started. Just got some words of encouragement from Cody himself.
