What’s going on, guys? This is Ian Pouter. I’m
Josh Denzel. And today, we’re going to be getting Ian Poulter’s Ryder Cup predictions. But not only
is he predicting who we think’s going to win, we’re going to be predicting who’s going to be
the best rookie. Who’s going to surprise us what the course is going to play like? And of course,
who is going to win the whole thing. So, Poults, I have to talk to you because people are getting
angry already. The beach, we’ve had people stop you. Sorry. I’ve seen this shirt before. I’ve seen
this shirt before. Yeah. Give us the backstory. Why is it so important to have it in Time Square
right now? Look, I I haven’t worn this shirt for 13 years. The last time I took this shirt off
was Saturday night at the Ryder Cup 13 years ago, Madina. And um the fact we’re even doing this, we
wasn’t even going to do anything, but like we’re coming to New York. I had a couple of days to
come and play golf with some sponsors. I’m like, it just seems right to sort of get it out of
the closet, put it on, iron it, doesn’t smell too bad. And um you know what? It it’s um it’s
literally given me goosebumps since putting it on. Like that Saturday afternoon in Badina 2012,
we know what happened. It it was one of the most incredible turnarounds in Ryder Cup. Um and and
look, the theme for this week’s RDER Cup is that they’re leaning onto the four away wins, right?
It’s all about how difficult it is to win on away soil. We did it in 2012. It was absolutely
magical. It’s an honor to slip this shirt on again. I know like I’d love to be part of it and
that would be absolutely remarkable and special, but um look, I I want to wish all the lads the
best of luck. This is going to be a cauldron of fire for three straight days. It’s going to be
intense. It’s going to be exciting. I’m actually jealous cuz you’re going tomorrow morning. I
know. Don’t give me the going. I’m not going. You’re going to be there. I’m not going. I’m not.
I’m flying out first thing tomorrow morning. I’m jealous. Like I The buzz of the first tea might be
the best experience I’ve I’ve ever had. Period. So like enjoy like enjoy it, embrace it, love it.
The fans are going to be absolutely mental. So, we’re going to talk about the fan cuz that’s
another prediction that we’re going to get. Yeah. What you really think of the the US fans? It’s not
like you said enough already, is it? I don’t know. I love the US fans. Honestly, I do. I love them.
I love them. Because there’s about 100 behind the camera right now. Okay. The Friday pairings are
out. They are. Yeah. I want to go through them pair by pair and see exactly how you think they’re
going to play out. So yeah, first off, yeah, talk to me. How is that going to go down? Look,
I think that I think that first match was kind of almost presscripted, right? When you turn around
and you look at Bryson Dashambo, Justin Thomas, look at Bryson today. I saw I saw some video
clips. I saw him I saw him getting pumped. I saw him kind of hyping up the crowd. Justin Thomas is
exactly the same. He’s a high energy, high output. I’ve played against him. He’s a hard cookie to
beat, right? Him when he played with Justin Spith were very very very tough cookies in in Paris. But
look, Bryson’s Bryson. He’s going to want to hype this crowd up. He’s been given that opportunity
to go out there first for a reason. He wants to get the crowd live and loud. That’s definitely
going to happen. Um, but you know what? John Ram, Tier Hatton, that’s that’s that they’re they’re as
thick as thieves. Look, that that’s an incredible pairing. Um, as good as as good as those guys are,
as experienced as John Ram is, as consistent as consistent as he is, and he’s got his mate there
right there with him, Terrell Hatton, drives the ball incredibly straight straight. You have to do
that around Beth Paige Black. We’re going to get Don’t give away all the predictions. We’re going
to go deep dive into that cuz you’ve obviously played there. It’s going to be It’s going to be a
That is going to be a great match. Am I going to tell you who I actually think is going to win that
match yet? No. I’m going to save it for a little bit. Not yet. Keep watching. Mentalitywise, that
group, knowing how close they are, knowing Turu sometimes can be a little bit emotional. Is John
Ram going to calm him down or is he going to hype him up? And do you need to be hyped up or does
the atmosphere do that for you at Beth Paige Black with all those USA? Look, I I think it’s natural.
The intensity, the excitement, the adrenaline that’s going to be running through your veins when
you get to the first T. John’s a high energy guy, too. Like, he really is. Tier we know can fly
off the handle and he kind of wears his heart on his sleeve, but they’re not going to do anything
silly to rile the crowd up. They’re going to use that energy to hopefully to their benefit. They’re
not they’re not going to try and upset them. Look, it’s going to be hostile and we’ll talk about the
fans in a bit, but like I like that matchup. I like the fact it’s it’s it’s John and Tur against
Bryson and Justin Thomas. It’s going to be I think it’s going to be fireworks. Okay, that’s going to
be Okay, that’s the first pair done. Second pair, Ludvig Aberg, Matt Fitzpatrick against Scotty
Sheffler. And it’s always I’m getting a bit of a shiver. I’m getting I’m getting a bit of a
shiver because that’s he he he is a team within himself. Yeah. What I mean, look what what a
combination that is, right? I mean, Shefflla best player on the planet. The last 18 months,
he’s been absolutely incredible. Russell Henley, world number three. So, you’ve got world number
one and world number three. It’s a stack team out second. Um, they’re good friends. Russell Henley
may be kind of like the dark horse. We’ll talk about in a little while. We’ll talk about who
potentially could be the the silent assassin kind of guy that flies under the radar. That may
well be Russell Henley. People don’t really think of him as a world number three player, but let me
tell you, his stats, his strokes gain stats that we know from doing some statistics with Scotty
Sheffller. You’ve been you’ve been reading the stat pack. We’ve been having a little look. We
been having a little look. Look, but I mean like Scotty Sheffller playing the best golf anyone on
the planet. He’s got that guy, his right-hand man who’s going to be so strong right there with
him. It’s it’s absolutely amazing. But look, Aberg, incredibly consistent golfer. Drives the
golf ball. Amazing. Matt Fitzpatrick, he’s won a US Open. So, I like that matchup. I think that is
a look, it’s it’s a very very very tough matchup. Uh we’ll talk about the predictions in a bit, but
uh look, match number two again is going to be going to be absolutely crackers, fireworks.
Um enjoy watching that one. I think that I think there’s going to be a lot of birdies in that
group. We’ve looked we’ve looked at this. This is the end. That’s why we came right into the heart
of it into the behind enemy lines with now that that match up you were saying maybe Hoblin and a
you think that you would have done that but yeah but so so it’s a numbers game right and and and
Molinari would have done an incredible breakdown of stats how the golf course plays out the odd
numbers against the even numbers what type of shape T-shot would that favor so they would have
run the numbers they would have crunched this out. And you know what? I I’m not I’m not surprised to
see there may be a change to some of the the teams that played in Italy because of that. They’re very
stat orientated, but like look, they’re they’re good mates. The team the team will will gel very
well. I hope I hope Matt has a great Ryder Cup. His performance over all the Ryder Cups. I think
maybe he’d like to have played a bit better, but like I I I hope that’s a really good matchup
for him. Oh, I can’t wait for this one. And we’re going to get our predictions in just a little
bit. Keep waiting. You don’t want to miss this. And our next group is Tommy Fleetwood, Rory Maroy
against Morawa and English. I I don’t want to do the prediction right now, but I’m predicting
whitewash. I’m predicting a whitewash, but you you could save that for later. That matchup, what
interests you? It’s it’s exciting to me that Yeah, it’s it’s really exciting. Um, like you know,
when you look how well Rory drives the golf ball, when you look how well Tommy Fleetwood drives the
golf ball, when you look at Tommy Fleetwood’s last four months on the road, okay, he’s been really
hot. He’s he’s had some heartache there, but he’s got over the line, you know, he’s he’s now a
winner on the PGA Tour. That was a that was a big thing for him. The fans love him. They really do
love him over here. So, I don’t see Tommy getting any grief. Rory on the other We’re going to clip
that up. Let’s clip that bit out. We’ll find out. Rory, on the other hand, listen, they like to play
into Rory. They try and rile him up a little bit, but look, that’s respect to how good he has
been for over a decade in golf. Incredible, incredible former. Um, how, you know, how does
that match up shape up? I I’m going to be really interested to see. I I like you probably just
think that that’s almost a guaranteed point for Europe. It’s a dangerous place to be. stood here
saying it’s a guaranteed point. I hope we don’t eat our words, but I I’m I’m very confident.
I’m very confident. Yeah. Look, I mean, listen, none of these matches are easy, right? We can
sit here and talk about, oh, that’s such a strong pairing, but it’s the RDER Cup. It’s the
nerves. It’s the pressure. It’s it’s all of the stuff that we obviously love as as sports fans
to obviously want to watch intense matches and intense games. And how is this how is this going
to play out in, you know, over the 18 holes? Um, it’s it’s it’s it’s going to be it’s it’s going to
be great to see. I I I truly think that is a great matchup for Europe. I think they’re really really
super strong. It it may well be or prove to be the strongest pairing in forces for Europe over o
over the next couple of days. So, we’ve got Xander and Kier against McIntyre and Hog. So, this is the
boys bringing up the rear. Yeah. Okay. Talk to me, Matt. Listen, how does this go down? Okay. Match
four. Like you you you said it earlier about the the change up with Havland and Aber, right? Why
have they switched that up? Has to be a stats. Has to be a number game. Has to be because certain
shop shapes are going to fit certain players a bit better than one another. But obviously, you
know, Xander and Canley are great mates. That is a really, really, really strong pairing. But, you
know, when you look how well Bobby Mack played in the last Ryder Cup, he was kind of made for it. He
loved it. He embraced it. He was like, you know, Justin was his partner last time and and I
thought he did brilliant. That pairing’s obviously switched up. I could see him in the team. There
was a little video when that pairing come out and Rosie giving him a little high five going, “Go on,
get out there and get stuck in.” I like it. It’s going to be fiery. Um it’s it it’s going to be a
great match. So the first four Forsomes matches really interesting. I’m surprised even in itself
that America have chosen to go with Forsomes first. All right. and four balls in the afternoon
for the simple reason they could have switched it and that was up to them but they haven’t they made
a mistake I don’t know but notoriously notoriously Europe has been stronger in forsomes so you you
know that that’s a question for me do you want the Europe to come out stronger potentially in
that in those early matches and obviously try and claw it back in the afternoon matches I don’t
know but look it is it is what it is now it’s forms in the on it. I like that from a European
perspective. We’ve always loved Forsomes. Um, and I’m I’m really hopeful we can have the upper hand
in the fire pit of uh Beth Paige Black. Scores on the doors. Is prediction time. Put your money
where your mouth is. Okay. What happens in those matchups? You get the points. All right. Two and
a half. One and a half. Match one. I’m I’m going to say Europe win. I love it. Out the blocks. Uh
Scotty Sheffler in match two and Henley m world number one and world number three. I I think they
might take that match. So I’m going to go USA at that point. It’s one all. Match three I’m going
to see that as a European win. I like it as a European win. Uh match four I see as a half. And
that’s where I’m going to go two and a half, one and a half to Europe. And I tell you what, I think
that as a as a Friday morning session here in New York is a great start for Europe. Incredible. You
heard it here first. That’s Ian Palter’s official Rider Cup prediction. You just mentioned the
course Beth Paige Black specifically. They got a sign on the door that says it’s extremely
hard. Warning. Warning. You played there in 2019. I did. Is it playing easier now? What they’ve
done? They’ve cut the rough down. How’s how’s it going to play and how’s it going to hold up
with the European boys? Well, it’s interesting home advantage. What what what do home captains
generally do in America? They’ve over time they’ve had the greens running super quick. The stats
generally say that America can slightly output the European players. So, they’ve done it to us in the
past where they’ve cut all the rough down, they play the bomb game, they get it on the green, and
they output Europe. Um, this course is going to play long. We’ve just had a chunk of rain today.
It may rain a bit overnight. Um, it’s it it’s not going to be easy. As you say, there’s warning
signs whenever you go out there on the golf course. So, I haven’t been there. I haven’t seen
it. I haven’t kind of had a scope to take measure out on the rough. Not yet. Not yet. We haven’t
been there. How you doing? What happens? We’re in New York. We’re the big man. So, so look, it’s a
big golf course. It’s a great test of golf. Um, I think we’re going to see birdies because the golf
course is going to be soft, which is good. So, I think it’s good. It’s good for the fans to watch
that. It’s good for everyone watching on TV. And um you’ve got you’ve got to feel your way through
foromes, but um you know, a lot of these matches are going to be close. They’re going to come
down to the last couple of holes. Um come on, Europe Boltz. I want to know from you, Cup legend.
Okay. All round golf nut is going to be the best player. One vote. Someone saying Bobby Mack.
Listen, we love Bobby Mack. He was awesome. Look, it’s um I think Tommy Fleet was going to have a
going to have a good week. I think he’s going to play quite a bit, which is good. You’re always
going to look to I think I think he’s going to do great. Um that was so meaningful for him, you
know, a month ago to get over the line. I think he just looks like he’s totally relaxed and
and ready for it. On the American side, look, I I think the the obvious one is to turn around
and say, um, you know, Sheffller’s going to go out there and and win all the points. I don’t kind
of think it’s gonna be that easy. I think Russell Henley, if he plays enough, he’s going to be the
like kind of quiet dark horse in that US team to watch out for. Which rookie is going to shine?
Who’s going to stand out? Who is going to stand up to the pressure? Look, we’ve got one rookie,
Raasmus. He looks he he looks the surname’s the same to his brother that played last time out,
right? So, on paper, it’s the same team, but it’s not. His brother’s in there now. So, look,
it it’s it’s very powerful. very very powerful to have less rookies in this situation. Um when you
go through the US rookies, how much are they going to play them? How much are they going to lean on
them at certain times? Uh I think they’re going to be used mainly the US rookies are going to be
mainly used um in forable. Okay. I So, but look, I um who would I pick out of all the rookies? Uh
look, I I I think Raasmus is going to have a good week. I think it’s going to be I’ve got Europe
just winning. Okay, I’m calling Raasmus. Pulse, we got to talk wild cards. Not just the wild
card selections, but also who’s going to be your tournament wild card. Okay. Okay. So, wild card
selection. Keegan Brand, should he be playing? What would you have picked yourself? It’s for for
me, it’s a really simple yes. Okay. I think yes. And I and and the reason I say yes. Look how well
he played this year. Now, I get it. I understand. I think I understand like for him he would have
been torn in a way of he he accepted the role of a captain. He wanted to go and he wanted to captain
this team which is a which is an incredible honor to be able to do that but he played his way
in that team. He should have really considered himself and I obviously I knew he did but he was
torn. He was split. Who would have gone and then stepped in for him to do the captain’s role?
There’s no cuz the player captain is you think you can’t do it. You can’t do it. It’s too busy.
There’s a lot going on. I don’t I don’t think that that that that would work. So I mean there
was of course there was talk you know months out if he makes the team you know with Tiger come in
and help out and and all of that stuff. But look I I think look it’s it’s admirable to sit here
and say he’s taken himself out the frame. He’s gone with six picks. He’s chosen these guys for
a reason to go and do a good job and he’s happy to be the captain role. So look, I want Europe to
win, right, really badly. I I you know, I don’t want Keegan to get to the end of the week and go,
what if, you know, should I should I have played? But he’s not going to do that. He’s a gentleman.
Um I wish him the best of luck. It’s all happening in New York right now. Paul, there’s been a little
bit of a change this time. Six wild cards. Yeah. Rather than the four. Yeah. As a as an old school
man. How do you how do you feel about that change? Old school man. Old school man. That’s nice. Old
school. Hey, I get it. Hey, listen. Listen. Old and old school. Very different. You are wearing a
shirt. I am 15 over a decade ago. I’m just saying. I’m just saying. But not an old school band. A
legend. Is it? Is that better? I love it. I love it. Thank you very much. Legend. I’m I’m trying to
get back in the good books. Six or four to six. So affect this. But it changed because when I when
I first started it was actually 10 10 guys that made it in and there was only two picks. So they
used to take five off the world rankings and then they took five off the order of merit. That was
way back and two picks and then slowly but surely as other captains wanted to put the input things
were changing and they wanted a little bit more freedom cuz America’s generally had a couple more
picks to have that way. So we changed, right? And then it got to a position where we know how golf
has changed in the last few years and they wanted that option to make sure they could make a team
work for them, right? So six picks, it gives you much more freedom. Um, but you say that, but then
you you look at the European team right now as it stands and it’s almost the identical team to what
it was in Italy. So the six picks didn’t really make that much of a difference. They almost
cherrypicked themselves. So, um I think it’s good. I think it gives gives the options there
if needed. You had some choice words for American fans and and maybe some some choice ideas of how
you deal with it. Just confirm confirm with me. Is this that feeling still the same stood here,
you know, with a a load of American fans? We got some Europeans here as well in the background to
security as well. But we’re on that page and it is it’s a cauldron and and how much just I want to
know how much does that the fans affect you on the golf you talk about being sometimes a little bit
nervous especially as a rookie and then you look at you know you look at the grand stand and it’s
it’s electric it’s you know it’s a wall of noise. Yeah. How does that affect you as a golfer when
it’s a game of millimeters? Do you know what the f the fans at every RDER Cup are overpassionate but
but but in a but in a nice way, right? And they should be. Home home course advantage is there
for a reason, right? You get the ability to set the course up, but yet you get the opportunity to
egg the fans on and really get them to make some noise. So, how much are they going to how much of
the American team going to lean on that this week in New York? We know New York in general with any
sports in the United States. This is this is the loudest you’re ever going to see is here here in
New York. Beth Paige Black. I don’t know how many fans are going to be there tomorrow. There’s
probably going to be 60,000 fans. And I Yes, I made a comment a few months ago and I was
like comment I said it. I said they were stupid, right? But listen, I look in a way listen I
don’t like I don’t I don’t I don’t I’m not saying Americans fans are stupid, right? What I
said was the comments of mashed potato, right? And I’m still going to say it on camera right now is
[ __ ] ridiculous. So, you can bleep that out. But listen, mashed potato has no it’s got no it’s it’s
got nothing to do with golf, right? But listen, I love I love the interaction with the fans. I
love not necessarily wind them up, but like I kind of like using that to my advantage whenever
I’ve played away rider cuts. Yeah. They get on your case. Yes, they’re going to you they’re going
to be all over you at every opportunity. They’re going to try and get in your head, but that sport,
that sport in general, you go to a football game, they’re going to do the same, right? I I love the
football football atmosphere. Like, I’ve always loved it. I’ve embraced it and I’ve never really
been affected in any RDER Cup with comments, right? I’m just saying in general general general.
Yeah. There’s a couple of silly things get said in this environment in the RDER Cup. Yeah, look, go
out there, have some fun, and all all is fair. Go out there, support the Americans like you should,
right? When it’s on Homec course advantage, just don’t ever say mashed potatoes or get in the
hole on a 500. I should mind cuz I I actually like mash. I I actually love mash. You know what I
mean? But yeah, don’t say get in the hole on a 600 yard par five cuz it’s ridiculous. Even Bryson
can’t knock it in the hole. The RDER Cup is is a is a golf tournament like no other. It’s a form
of golf like no other. But there’s also different ways to play. You got four balls, you got foromes,
you got singles. There’s there’s so many things to think about while being in the cauldron of having
partisan fans, which is not what you’re used to in golf. How mentally do you have to prepare yourself
in a different way than you would to go to the Masters or the Open or or a golf tournament?
It’s so different. It’s so different because of you know you go to a normal tournament you go
to a major and obviously you’ve got a set of fans that are cheering for either individual players
and such but this is like this is a divide this is it’s it’s either black or white it’s USA it’s
Europe right it’s really simple from that from that regard and it’s like that’s what makes it you
know so loud so intense when you’ve got you know there’s probably going to be 15,000 European are
you going are you going yeah go on go and be loud Right. So, I think you’re going to have like
15,000 European fans. You can have 45,000 US fans that are all singing and chanting it at the
same time. So, the the decibel level when someone walks on that tea box is going to go through the
roof, right? And and as as an as an away player, when you step on that tea box, the ground just
starts to rumble and it starts to shake. And that is something which is like you it’s it’s
it’s like the roar and it’s like the buzz of the opportunity. Say you’re walking down the open
champ the last hole at the open championship and you’ve got an opportunity to win and the crowd’s
going mental. You have that every single shot from the first T-shot until you finish. So it’s it’s
it’s exhausting. It’s mentally draining. The guys have been here for two weeks. They were here
practicing last week. They kind of had a bit of a chill at the end of last week, but there’s
so much dead time and anticipation now that these guys are ready to go. I’m actually pleased that
they’ve kind of had a soft day today. Right. It was it was going to rain that have actually tried
to kind of, you know, have have as much, you know, R&R today and kind of, you know, build up the
energy tank ready ready for a for a massive weekend. Okay. Ps Nicki Maway win. It’s the
hardest thing to do in golf. Tell me, can we do it? What scores are we supposed to get? I I I re I
really like what Luke’s been able to do with that team. I I like the fact there’s only one rookie in
the European team. The US have got four rookies. That may play a crucial factor late into Sunday
afternoon. When it comes down to the nitty-gritty, where are those guys going to be put in the order
of 12 come Sunday afternoon? Are they gonna try and be in a position to frontload and try and go
out and early into Sunday and literally win that trophy early? Are they gonna have to try and blend
a couple of rookies in early and then bring leave some of the experience late on? We don’t know.
But it’s all the mind games that go on in in our heads as players. There’s always there’s always
Sunday where there’s points and there’s momentum flows within those singles matches where you look
at the board when you’re walking down and you just take a glance and you’re like even when you’re up
and you look at it and go they’ve all of a sudden turned that match around and they’ve turned that
match around. So it’s um it’s it’s it’s an amazing strange feeling in singles. You’ve prepared the
whole week with a mate, you know, multiple mates in practice rounds. You’ve got your mate by
your side, your partner on Friday, Saturday, and then all of a sudden the quietness of Sunday
arises and you’re on your own. You don’t have a teammate. You don’t have you’ve only got your
caddy to talk to. So that dynamic of really being able to pull off one another. You’ve got captains
and vice captains, but it’s it’s Sunday is a it’s an intense day. It’s a lonely day. you play the
whatif game and you know h how does the front order stack up and it’s it’s you know it’s it’s
the mind that takes over sometimes more than the body stuff because these are the best golfers in
the world going to go headto head who’s going to be more mentally strong who’s going to handle that
pressure better than anyone else Luke’s obviously been Luke’s been successful the last rider cup can
he now take that to the US and be in a a winning awake captain. It would be fairy tale for him.
I hope he does it. Uh I’d love to see the fifth US away winning European team take this for the
fifth time. It would be absolutely magic. Bolts. Yeah. Come up with a little game. Okay. Seeing
as we’re in the States. Yeah. Okay. I want to find out would you rather USA or Europe edition.
Okay. Okay. So, I’m going to say something. Yeah. Right. For instance, first one, weather. Would you
rather Europe’s weather USA? Okay, so we’re going to start this off. Okay, nice and easy. Okay,
bars, Europe. I like that. Specifically, well, depends who you ask where we are, but yes, in this
sense, 100%. Fivestar dining. Uh, Europe, TV. Uh, I know you I know you I know you like the American
show. It’s okay. It’s okay. USA. Film. Film. USA. Oh, golf courses. Uh
my god. Europe. Good fans. Europe. Yay. Yay. Come on. Sports. Europe. There
we go. Stadiums. Wow, that’s a tough one. Listen, I’m an Arsenal. Look, Europe. I mean, listen, you
got Yankee St. Europe. Okay. Culture. Um, you do live. Look, I I live here. I’m going to have to
be nice. You USA. Uh, music. Um, Europe, fashion. I mean, I could really just turn around and go
Europe the whole the whole way down this list. Um, look, I live here. I buy my clothes here.
I’m going to say USA. Okay. Fast food. Well, we how well I don’t eat I don’t eat fast food. I
I know that’s why you still fit in a t-shirt. It’s unbelievable. 13 years. There you go. So, fast
food. Are we going to I mean there’s there’s a lot of mixing. Yeah. But like America do fast food
better better than Europe. There’s absolutely no question. Okay. Liveability. It’s a brand new
word I’ve made up. Liveability. Yeah. Yeah. The ability to live in a place. USA. It’s pretty
easy. The flag. Europe. Come on. Uh to go on holiday. Um look, Europe. I mean the the the
I mean I don’t need to go into it, but like Rome and everywhere. I mean listen, Europe. Okay.
Value Um, USA. Who’s got the best looking people? Europe. Who’s got the best snacks? USA. Okay.
Who’s got the best humor? Europe. Okay. Who’s got the best group of golfers currently playing
in the RDER Cup? Europe. There you go. There you have it. score was we didn’t get of course.
Anyway, on that note, you’re a win. Simple.

  1. Love to have you captaining the team one day Poults. I must watch your Medinah highlights at least once a month! 😅🇪🇺❤

  2. I've got a feeling that the US fans are going to take things a step too far. Think things are going to go wild and ugly this time around

  3. I love golf content but there’s something about Ian’s personality that seems genuine and encouraging. I like watching when he’s playing a match and he helps a guy like Rick shields play the right shot or reads the putts and helps them play better.

  4. maaan watching the postman has got me hyped for this ryder cup. Would have loved to see him there as a vice captain

  5. Another great vid by IP….He is always so informative with his comments and analysis of all topics relating to golf.

  6. The fact the shirt still fits 13 years later is impressive. I can barely fit into clothes I bought last year.

  7. POSTMAN!.. gutted your not in the team anymore. sitting here in New Zealand 2 1/2 hours away…11pm at night. cannot wait for this to start. Go Europe..all weekend…

  8. I’ve liked but as a Tottenham supporter I just can’t bring myself to subscribe. I’ll always love your Ryder Cup matches but your odd support for Arsenal is a big minus. Miss you at the Ryder Cup.

  9. I'll never forget Ian poulter and his grit and determination 13 years ago 👊 if our lads have half of that this weekend then we'll be alright ! Goodluck Europe 👊 Let's bring it home 👊🙏💕🇬🇧

  10. This all depends on who takes the first tee,in wanting DeChambeau to make that impact on the first tee to get the crowd pumped, the US captain might be defanginging his overall impact because of the fact that the holes favouring his natural draw are the even holes.

  11. I predict that the American fans will be ar&eholes – can I get a decent price?

  12. Let’s Go Europe. Shut these guys down hard in their home please!!! 🇨🇦❤️🇪🇺

  14. As a golfer I can totally respect these predictions. As an American I’m gonna lean toward our guys. I love watching all the American players and as far as the European guys, watching Rory work a course is absolutely mind boggling. I’ve been a Tommy Fleetwood fan since he first came on the scene in PGA golf. Watching him win the FedEx Championship was an experience for the ages. This is gonna be fun and very entertaining. I hope the crowds on both sides stay civil and respectfull. Also hope The Postman does predictions on the remaining matches. POSTMAN FOR CAPTAIN 2027!!! 🏌️⛳️🏌️⛳️🏌️⛳️
