Tiger Woods’ days of playing at the Ryder Cup are surely over.
And looking back at one of the greatest golfers ever, it’s shocking to see how poorly he performed when he suited up for Team USA.
It’s a mixed bag when you really break it down, but it’s not the dominance Woods showed so often on the PGA Tour.

In his Ryder Cup career, Tiger Woods took part in 37 matches. He had 13 wins, 21 losses and 3 ties, for a mark of 13-21-3.
That adds up to 14.5 total points earned by Woods, which ranks fourth on Team USA’s all-time list.
In the eight Ryder Cups that Woods was a part of, Team USA only won one.

Tiger Woods’ Ryder Cup record breakdown
There are some key caveats here. Woods was good in singles play but not in the partnership formats.
In foursomes, Woods was 4-9-1.
In four-ball, Woods was 5-10-0.
But when Woods got to singles play, he had four wins, two ties and two losses.
Woods played his most partnership matches with Steve Stricker. They were 2-4 together.
With Jim Furyk, Tiger was 2-2.
Woods had a winning mark with Davis Love III (2-1) and with Chris Riley (1-0).
Tiger played twice with Phil Mickelson. They lost both of those matches.
As far as opponents, Woods was crushed by Lee Westwood, who held a 7-1 edge in eight matches against Woods.
Woods had a 3-2 career mark against Padraig Harrington, a 2-1 mark against Ian Poulter and a 2-0 mark against Miguel Angel Jimenez.
Overall, not what you would’ve expected from Tiger Woods.
