Sept. 17: Wednesday Playday
Organizers report that a sunny and warm late summer day was the perfect setting for the 15 Graeagle Men’s Golf Association players who took part in the Wednesday Playday Sept. 17. The game was Straight Golf Net Score. The winners came in as follows:
First place: Jim Reynolds, 73
Second place: Jeff McKenzie, 73; Jack Gilbert, 73; Mike Quesenberry, 73
Four skins were earned by the following players:
Mike Quesenberry, with a 3 on the first hole and a 3 on the fifth hole
Jack Gilbert, with a 1 on the third hole and a 2 on the fourth hole

Sept. 19: Friday Playday
An overcast but warm day was the setting for the Graeagle Men’s Golf Association Friday Playday on Sept. 19. Fifteen GMGA players competed in a One Ball Odd/Two Balls Even game with the winners coming in as follows:
First place: Chuck Hein and Jim Oster, 99
Second place: Andy Knudsen and Jim Reynolds, 100
Third place: Dan Anderson and Mark Yuill, 105
Six skins were won by one player. The club offers congratulations to Jim Oster, who corralled the entire skins pot with a 2 on the fourth hole, a 3 on the seventh hole, a 3 on the ninth hole, a 3 on the 11th hole, a 1 on the 12th hole, and a 4 on the 18th hole.
