It was only a matter of time before Donald Trump’s grandchildren started following in his footsteps and making merch. Kai Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s 18-year-old daughter, appears to have taken her burgeoning influencer career to the next level and launched her own line of crew-neck sweatshirts. Parke, watch out!
The sweatshirts come in three colors — navy, white, and black — and feature a large “KT” logo on the chest. In photos of Kai modeling the sweatshirts on the White House lawn, you can also see that there’s also an enormous “KAI” emblazoned on the back of the neck and her signature printed on the cuff. They come in two fits: a boxy women’s silhouette and a slimmer “unisex” cut. Interesting! Each piece is steeply priced at $130, which Kai’s TikTok commenters already appear to be unhappy with. Is this how the under-20 set learns about tariffs?
In her Instagram announcement, Kai wrote that this collection of sweatshirts is something she has “dreamed about for a long time.” “Launching this line has been such an exciting project,” she added. “From the quality of the fabric to the details in the designs, I wanted to create a piece that isn’t just merch but a staple you can wear anywhere.” Kai says her merch can be worn while working out, at school, and out to dinner. It’s not clear if the crewnecks work with the Mar-a-Lago dress code. While she confusingly kept referring to them as hoodies, it’s important to note that none of the sweatshirts have hoods.
While Kai’s line consists only of crewnecks right now, the chances of her launching some signature golf gear next seem high. “KT”-embroidered golf bags, anyone?
