Matt Fryer v Andy Carter 18 Hole Stroke Play! – THE FEUDS FINAL
Welcome to the final episode of the feuds where myself and Matt Frier are going to battle it out to see who is the best golfer. And today we are at the stunning Formy Golf Club. It’s time to find it out. [Music] go. Okay. So down here nice and early perform ahead of the final showdown. How’s it feel to go in with a two shot lead? Feels good. It feels just I think overall if it was stroke play the deficit would be a lot bigger. But for B here for the final a tough golf course. A challenging test for us today. We’ve got a pretty still day. It is early morning so I think it’ll heat up. Overall, I think the the person who’s played the best has got the advantage. Need to be a little bit more consistent. I feel like the last couple of rounds, I feel like father time caught up with me. Lack of practice, lack of sleep, lack of consistency, bad decisions, couple of nice strikes, but at the in the wrong places. It’s golf, isn’t it? It’s what I coach every single day, and I fall for the same problems myself. Well, we have got down to the first tea and this is the grand finale. Myself and Andy Carter. 18 holes here at the stunning Formy Golf Course and it looks like we’re in for an absolute belter of the day. So scores currently we have had four qualifying matches, four nine hole matches which has led me to have a two stroke advantage into this 18hole stroke play final. So I will be starting on two under and Andy will be starting on level. Let’s see who will be crowned champion. Comment down below now who you think it’s going to be and what the winning score will be. We’re in for an absolute belter today. I cannot wait. So, our first hole of the day here at Formbby Golf Course is a par 4 stretching just over 400 yards. 413. It’s a par 72. This golf course plays well over 6,000 yards, nearly 7,000 actually off the whites. held um held the uh an a senior event here every year and there’s a lot of bunkers to avoid and there’s a lot of ghost to avoid. There’s also a lot of rough which is luckily burnt out a little bit at the minute but Andy play well sir. Yeah play well. You’re just trying to find a spine there. Just trying to like wake the body up a couple of uh niggles. Need to take me ibuprofen. Have a little banana first. That’s always safer to eat that taking ibuprofen with food. Did that on the way here. Malt loafing and approxim. Aren’t we athletes? I’ve had two coffees so far. Right then. Few bunkers down here on this first hole. There’s two on the right hand side that are 220 to get over. So I’ve got two iron cuz there’s some further out that driver will catch. So I fancy this just down the left and just let it cut back ever so slightly. Let’s Let’s get it going everybody. Play well. Play well. May the champion be crowned [Music] strike. Fresh out the car. Lovely. Some of us were here early stretching, Andrew. Lovely. Definitely was a slightly slower swing speed than normal though, but we’re safe. The gauntlet has been thrown down. Ah, here he is. Right. I’m not checked out the roof obviously, so I’m just hoping that if I do keep it left, then it’s quite quite light and wispy. Yeah. Get the first shot of the day. Get the biggest face on it. You got the first of the ladies as well. If you get your snappers going, I’m going to try and get back to my old little cut with the driver. That was working so well back in 2016. Yep. Toe. That’s on the first of the ladies. That’s in some heavy. That’s bouncing. That’s fine. Bouncing. Oh, right then. All right. Play well. Let us know who’s winning in the comments. If you type in Andy, you’re wrong. Very wrong. Hole one navigated nicely. The first part of it. I’ve only got one 162 front. This course, you’ve got to be so careful off the tea. Bunkers everywhere. And if you get in them, they’re so deep you’ve just got to wedge out. You’d be very lucky if you hit it in any bunker to actually have a shot at the green. Little bit of precaution off the tea and then you can go at it going into the green. Got 193 flag. It’s 179 middle. Just going to hit a six iron. to start the the proceedings. Oh, wow. That was a That was a bad golf swing. That was a bad golf swing. Right. 195 pin, 175 to the front left bunker. Got seven iron. I’m just going to try and if I can get this to carry 165 out of this crappy stuff. Just let it chase. Scared of the fire. Oh, it’s a very typical first hole start. I think I’m about pin high though. Bunker, huh? Gone in the bunker. Oh, bunker. Miss stuff still. Bit of a wide and a miss for me there. L shut L face. So I got the the perfect distance. Just had the face pointing at my left kneecap as I impacted the golf ball. But little bump and run up to the front and let it trickle on over the couple of little slopes. Slightly iffy lie expected to be when you miss it this far. Wow, that had some serious bite on it. I struck it so well. Problem with having a lesson, right, my ball was stopped by the rake, so it stayed in its little roll mark. So, it’s not going to spin much. It’s going to release. Try to land this about half way and hopefully release the rest of the way. That’s a bit too far. Yeah, too far. Bit hot. Sit. Stay there. I can still get a putter on it. Just came out a little bit hotter than expected. Sign of a quality golf course. Cups are painted white around the rim. You always know you’re at a good spot when that happens. Right up the hill, left to right. First put of the day. Half fringe, half green. Ideal. Stay. That looks so good for so long. Looks phenomenal. So quiet. You can hear Andy’s heart racing. Do I have to listen to your put on every single put again? Do I? Yeah. Yes, lovely. Very solid. Well held, sir. Great bogeies to start. I was in the car on the way up here thinking there’s no reason for bogeies, is there? So stupid golf making daff bogeies. How many golfers have thought that? I know. It’s bloody bloody annoying. Well, the score stayed the same with two bogeies to start. Oh, hey ho. That’s our warm-up hole, though. Yeah, warm up hole. We should have We should have played it as a warm. Go back to the team. Should have played the first on the ladies and then walked back around. Yeah, that would have been a good idea. But we’re on and moving. I’m happy. I’m happy. [Music] Second hole. 373 bunkers everywhere. There’s three of them that are down the right hand side that are just minging. That is tight. That is it. Little tight. Hey, can you What is over those that heather on the left then the neck tea? But it’s like a bit cuz that heather looks like it stops shortly after the bunker on the right which is about 240. Surely if you pull a driver it still clears that heather. Yeah, I would say so. I’m in two minds whether to hit driver or five iron. 250 to what I think might be close to the end of it. Yeah, I think this Well, driver just takes the bunkers out, doesn’t it? Yeah. Then the fairway looks wider. Yeah, exactly. Oh, might slide into it. In the header. Well, not in the gor, but in the header. You taught me into that one, didn’t you? I did. Drop down to an iron. It does seem like it does make if you’d have cleared the bunk on the right or something. I’d have probably If I would have been to the range, obviously we got here at 6:15 this morning. If I would have been to the range, I think drive was the shot, but probably better off poking iron. And I mean, even the thing is with the iron, all those bunkers are still in play. I can’t go I’m going down to a six iron if I’m trying to take them out of play. So, there’s got to be some element of risk. I think four or five iron, you’ve got enough room, haven’t you? At the pin with a draw should be fine. It’s gone quite high, so that might It’s on. That’s fine. That’s absolutely fine. Yeah. All done. Relief. Nothing like a bit of positivity. Pulled up shy. Right. 166 pin, which to be fair is just a perfect eight. Um, it’s like a false front to the left side. Not much room right of the pin. So, really at the at the pin with a little draw. If it doesn’t draw, I look like an absolute hero. And if it does draw, I look like a hero cuz I’ve called it. Just trying to be a hero. Oh my days. Oh my god, that’s disgusting. Lucky. Slightly embarrassed that my uh driver’s only gone 20 past Carter’s four iron. 147 131 front 147. I don’t want to go long with that flag. I want to try and hack this and let it bounce. got a wedge, so it should sort of pop up and just run with no spin. I’ve just got to absolutely hammer it. This stuff looks like innocuous, but soon as the club goes in, game over. It’s come out right. Jeez. Was that your T-shot or did you drop? T-shot was it? Yeah. That was just horrid. Oh dear. Oh dear. Not the start we wanted. Would have thought Andrew would have done better from the fairway. Pretty much like me on the last. And I expected mine to hook left. So it went right. Standard. What are we faced with here now? Got to go left of it because then it’ll go right. You do not want to leak it right and be going down that little valley. That’s good on me. I thought I played that spot on and it went out right. Dreadful miss. This was I’ve missed that flag by 20 yards trying to hit a draw. Such a bad miss. Right, I’ve got low literally got no shot either. Worst possible. I can only go try and get this from this angle as pin high as possible to the left of the pin. And maybe if it might bounce right off that ridge or it should do, but I don’t want to go too far to the right. It’s not a good enough strike. Done the same as me. Mr. Bank on the second skip. We are uh not quite Well, you’re replicating your standard from the first two matches, but I’m not. It’s not biting this morning. You’re asleep. I listen to it. I listen. I don’t even hear it anymore actually to be fair. Go on then. Good putt, sir. Boogie bogey start. The good news is immense. It’s all right. Every good round starts with two bogeies. That’s what they say. That’s the famous quote from famous quote from I think it was Sam Sneed who said that. Might have been Hogan. I’m not quite sure. Right. Similar length to the first tiny tiny bit of left to right. Oh my god. Bogey bogey start. That looked in all the way. Why didn’t I hit four iron off the tea and miss the green and then make a bogey that way? Sorry everyone watching. We promise the standards will get better. Take us three holes to loosen up. [Music] Right, part five, the third hole. We need to get going. It’s 543 yds. There are a lot of bunkers. You can see 1 2 3 4 five of them off the tea here. Um the last that we sort of need to worry about is 286, which is actually the one down in the right um side of the fairway. So, driver over the middle of the uh the first two you see. And uh hopefully get it in plane and start this thing going. keep cutting miss that trap. 310 that trap. It’s left of it, isn’t it? Right of it even. Just right of it. Yeah, I think it’s just running to the semi. So, it’s fine. Seems to hit it a bit straight. I just got it a bit cuty. It’s down there, though. I can have a dig with a 3-wood at the green and chip and a putt. It’s a hard one to get up and down from this green, isn’t it? It’s got that swale up onto it and then the green all runs away. I can’t remember. I remember all the layouts of the holes. Well, most of them when I get on the tea. It’s been years since I got here. Remember it bit once. I’ve played the hole. No, I remember like the layout of the hole, but I can’t remember anything else. Similar direction as mine. Just fall. Sit down. Sit down. Yeah, it’s fine. I remember when I was when I was at uni, I held my second shot on the last to finish second here. Yeah. What in like a team like a university match university creators classic university tournament pre precreator life just when I was WKDs just when I was a dedicated golfing student 220 to clear that bunker. We’re a long way back, folks. Um, I got a decision to make really. Do we go over it for no reason whatsoever, or do we go short of it and look ultra defensive when you’re already two over through two? Why not compound your problems and hit 3-wood? I would never I always say to students like, “What’s the point in hitting 3wood off the deck?” And as soon as I get the first opportunity, I do it. This has got to be a bit of a squirt. I like a little fadey squirt. Little fadey squirty one. Oh, I’ve hit it so pure as well. It’s not faded. Andrew just said off camera, “Oh, we need, you know, do you think everyone will have turned off cuz we’re so bad? I think we need to make a birdie.” And he’s gone and done that. I’ve got uh 250 to the to the middle. So, I’m just going to go threewood. But it’s a nice lie. Chasey lie. Just try and hit a soft cut would be my ideal shot here. It dead straight. It’s okay. It kicked right a little bit there. Not the worst. missed that because it’ll be near pin high and uh I’ll be past the bunker I think there to give me a a pretty good look at a chip at the flag. So good. We’re on it. We’re moving. We’re moving in the right direction. Beat this chump. Get my gaming toe. Come on. 60 to the front. I just land need to land this right on the apron. Just let it pop up. Face control is rather important on these types of shots. 60 yards. Okay. Yeah. Pulled it. That’s it. Absolutely nothing like what I wanted to try and play. Absolutely nothing like what I wanted to try and play. Oh my goodness. Stay up. Stay up. Just very unlucky that to finish there and not have a shot at the flag. Downhill, uphill, double breaker. Aim straight. It needs to come back a little bit. It doesn’t though. It goes the opposite way. Absolutely brilliant. Tell you what, it’s a sneaky pin that, isn’t it? Especially when there was a darn tree in the way. Stayed. Thought you were going to knock that back to me then. Like there you go. Nearly was to be fair. Have a go. Should we play gimmies? No, let’s not play gimmies. Championship. Not in a Not in the biggest event that Cart has played in in the last 5 years. This is probably bigger than open call for Carter. Oh yeah. Imagine the the barrage of abuse you’re going to get if you lose until the next feuds season two. Solid. It’s put in today. It’s putting. Well, scores remain the same. We’ve uh ticked off our first pass. Feel like we’ve we’ve now found a little bit of loosey gooseeness. You let me down tree. But other than that, course is incredible. Day is going to be beautiful. We’re settling in for a good battle. Carl’s putting well as well, which is a she’s slightly worrying. [Music] Our fourth hole is 313 y. One potentially get there. will car to do it. He’s got a two show stroke deficit to make up. Yeah. I mean, I should have made it up really by now. It’s uh you give me the chance. It’s 219 to this bunker on the right and then it’s 227. If you just see there, bunker on the right, 220, 228 to that one on the left. So, hit something down and you’ve got a wedge in or do your threadsville. Do you go I think three. I wouldn’t be in drive. I just bounce a 3wood on there. Fly 3wood 270 and it’s going to get front edge, isn’t it? Cuz it’s only 300. Just dodging everything in it. You need to though. Well, I mean the golf that you’ve shown so far as well. I don’t really. Yeah. If you’d have started par then I would have. Would you? Yeah. But thankfully you you started like me. Interesting. Right. Five. Two shots is not a lot yet. swing. Sure, that was compression. Just have compression come up in writing on the screen there. Compression. Oh, trying to find a little golf swing. The head covers just come off, folks. Where uh which pocket are your balls in? Front one for the provisional. I mean, really, it’s quite wide. It’s quite far, you know, the out of bounds down the right the No, I mean I’m not worried about right. I’m not I’ve not a driver right for few days. Oh, hello. Great shot this. Oh, what a freaking bounce that was. Bunker. Bloody hell. You know, here’s a little top tip for everyone. If you ever struggle, if you go to a course that you don’t know and you’re thinking, “What should I hit?” There’s always clues on the TE’s. Look how many divot patterns are on here up by the yellow. Loads of divots suggest that fat drivers suggest that iron’s been hit off here. So, just a little little bit of a little bit of knowledge there for you. You ever think, “Oh, what club is it?” If you see loads of broken tees, probably an iron. See no marks, no TE’s, probably a wood. So, throughout the feuds, we’ve been mentioning there’s been a giveaway. And this is what you could be winning. Five of these lasers, the Pro X with either my logo or Andy’s logo on them. We’re going to be giving them to a junior section. So, if you can get your junior organizer or secretary to email us at infomfrygolf.co.uk. Shotscope have kindly donated five of these. will put those clubs into a draw, randomly pick one, and then that club will get five beautiful lasers, most likely with this logo on to give out at their junior prize presentation. And we want to see some pictures giving it this kids winning it on prize presentation night. Right, then let’s see how far we’ve actually got with this beautiful little laser. 103 yards up to that stick. I have to admit it took me until that third hole to realize that the flags going out are white. I thought white was at the back. So handy to have a laser because actually 113 and we’re slightly downwind. So I’m going to go 54. I think this is like a 90 yard shot to let it get in close here. Lovely. We got the thumbs up as well. Was half a groove low, but luckily it was out the middle, so it had more spin than a roller skate rink that one. Right. Come on. It’s flying. Okay, I try and land this about a third of the way on and then should just release. Not not the easiest shot in the world. A slightly higher bounce to get me over this would have been nice, but hey, using the card you dealt, right, not loads of sand, which I kind of do like, but it’s a bit n bit of a nippier one. Got to try and carry that first third. Oh, fatted it. Well, out. Fatted it. Oh, club chuck. Can we Everyone said that I’m the angry one and we’ve just witnessed a club throw. He actually nearly hit the cameraman. So, I hope there’s an apology there. Is he still talking Christ? Sorry. I’m sorry to everyone. That wasn’t a club throw, by the way. If you want to see all the viewers of the channel, stay on Friday. He’s not normally like this. That was a little toss. The pressure though of playing against me. That was not a throw. That was It traveled. It traveled about a yard. So when something leaves your hand in a different d direction, it’s generally known as you’re throwing it. Well, okay. If you want to go technical. Yeah. Sorry everyone. It’s fine. Sorry. It’s right. Do you want it left in or tending from back there? No, you can leave it in. It’d be uh be nice if there was a a three wiggle and I whole mind now. Just really start to see him unravel. Halfway there. That’s good. Well done. I love when you see the the cups painted white. It just makes it like just feels class, doesn’t it? It’s a bit of attention to detail, isn’t it? Yeah. Just look like high standards. Like as a as a thing, how long do you think that take? Like you can’t Is it a minute extra? Yeah. Not that much. Surely. And as a cost, it’s not that much, I would assume. Adds a lot though. And that’s what I’m going to That’s what I mean. Like for the for what it adds, it’s not worth not doing it if you know what I mean. Oh, I know what you mean, Matthew. Just gets just gets you going, doesn’t it? Well done. Good birdie. Very nice. All right. All right. Par three next up the hill. That’s opened up. I don’t know if this is some like kind of strategy from Carter where he’s not getting involved. He’s just trying to like go me into getting him. But I’m here for it. I’m there to get in his head. It’s all I want. Not worried about the golf. He’ll He’ll that bit up. I just need to keep poking the bear. [Music] 152 yards. 152. This tea is a a newly renovated tea. It’s spectacular. Great hole, isn’t it? It is a nice hole. Don’t miss left, I think, is the uh 152 swallow of swarm of swallows there. It’s quite nice, isn’t it? Oh, yeah. Quite a majestic pattern there cutting into the clouds there for us. Awesome. Anyway, awesome. Time that we’re finished with our timber now and back to the hole in one. I’ve got nine iron here. It feels like the wind’s just a little I think it’s just helping a little bit off the Yeah, down and off the right. Eight’s just a little bit too much. It’s not uphill enough to need an extra club. I don’t think we’ll soon find out. Obviously, we’ve got the mower sound there, but it’s very peaceful out here, isn’t it? Zoom on the flag. It’s a bit left. No, it’s gone. Is it right distance? Yeah. Good shot. Nice. Early call there. Was a very early call. It looked very good for a long time and I knew it was the right distance. That green’s going to look small now. Why? That’s in tight. Looks the same as that’s pretty much back to back birds. That if it is, then fair play. Well done. I think it’s fantastic. This is a good shot. Little kick left and it could be in. Oh, nice shot. Yeah, it’s a bit necky. It’s fine though. Well done. A good bad. This was a good bad. They’re rare. They’ve been rare. Good bad shots so far. Must say it is lovely here. Thank you to Formbby for having us out and doing little ladies course there. Looks fantastic. A mix of heather and pine goes down like a fine glass of wine. All right, bit of a swing on this. Like an early swing halfway and straightens out. He’s low. Good roll. More than I thought. More than I thought. Lovely. Good birdie. Back to back. End over end. Very nice. Back to back. As we said, stretches it to four. Panic stations. Panic stations. Everybody. Right onto the next. Here we go. [Music] Right. 47 yards is the six hole. A blind approach shot. Two bunkers out there. the uh the latter being 231 on the right hand side to get over. I think it’s just a it’s just an iron, isn’t it really? Yeah, I think it’s like two iron and then you don’t want to get too close to that mound really. But yeah, you sort the fairway does kick a little left. You want to be see where the path is for the like going through the mounds. Well, it’s actually three 310 to run out of fairway anyway. Is it? Yeah. Yeah. So, if you finished in like you see that green patch on the fairway. Yeah. If you’re on the right edge of that, you effect. Good ball. Lovely. Lovely. Just make it hard for him now. That was a That was a sore spinner. I saw it going down the middle of the fairway. Thought just let it let it fly. Stomp a bit of authority on this chump. Great shot. That sounded lovely. That disappeared on the bounce. Had a lovely bounce that really scooter. All right. Blind as a Batman. Can’t even see it. like a reel. It was like it hit the uh the Mario mushroom thing and got a speed jump on it. Love it. Yeah. Right. Five holes in. You’ve uh what you what you snacking on there? Found a little uh petrol station on the way. Got a sausage. Got a sausage sandwich. Brought them for everybody obviously cuz we’re up early. Nope. Just looked after yourself. Yep. Standard cartered behavior. Um anyway, five holes in. How you feeling? How you how you feeling? Good. Yeah. Happy har. No. Not happy playing. You’re never happy. Well, you know what it is. I think like when you set yourself a little bit of a standard of golf and you can’t play to it. Yeah. Then it’s just frustrating, isn’t it? Yeah. It must be. It’s fine. Wow. Course. How you feeling about the course? I love this golf course. Yes. Class. I’ve not played it for only played it a couple of times, I’d say, in recent years, but always remember it as being one of the the best ones around our area. Growly growing up playing it. played it a lot when I was younger, but not in the past few years. Beautiful as ever. Burkeale here, Hillside SNA. Oh, West Lanks. I forgot about that. West Lances. Yeah, put that be fourth. West LS for me. Very underrated, but the this stretch of the G Coast is incredible. Those horses we just mentioned obviously, isn’t there? Yeah. For me ladies is just over there as well. And then you’ve got the likes of Royal Liverpool, Ci Wallacey. It’s a uh an amazing stretch of golf for sure. Right, onwards we go, sir. We do indeed. 137 142 to the middle. 124. So, it’s sort of slap bango here. It’s just a nice pitching wedge. It does run away from you if you get it a little bit shy. And looking at that, I think it’s just on the right hand side of the of the green of center, but pretty pretty central. I’m going to go pitching wedge, take dead aim, and hopefully stuff one in close here. Oh, compression strike about 10 foot left. We’ve got thumbs up as well. Oh, good shot. The pressure is now on Sea Dog. Doesn’t know where he is, but he’s feeling it. He’s not. He’s not right. 140 pitching wedge. Same line. Maybe a little bit less down. Maybe should be good, I reckon, though. Might be a bit might be a bit deeper. We’ve got a thumbs up as well. Oh, welcome to the show. Hey, welcome to the show. You got a thumbs up. Oh, very nice. Problem is the uh cameraman’s 28 handicapper, so I’m not quite sure what his thumbs up really mean. Could be just within could be within 30 yards. Sorry, Josh. Not much in those, Andrew. Six feet. Nope. Bit short, aren’t they? It is a tall old boy. That I’m going to take that out cuz it’s a thick flag and if it hits it, it’s not going in. All right. Up and over. Down at the end, left to right, across the slope. Turn a bit. Ah, bloody hell. Way over Reddit. Way 10 for that one. Didn’t move. Stayed dead straight. Well held, sir. Thank you. Thank you. Very well executed hole, Andrew. I would say professional almost fairway green two put the epitome of regulation. It literally is remains two over through six. Nice. Take that tough little hole. Even though it’s a only a short iron in, it’s tough to get the the read of where the flag is and get a good one in. But we move on. The gap’s four. Now, this hole is a a potential nine hole wrecker. Tough hole this seventh hole. Big dog leg left to right up the hill. Green slopes is pitched on a crazy uh back to front. Is this not where we hold like a mega put on record breakers? [Music] So this is I was thinking about this hauler. It’s really tight off the tea. 370 y up the hill kind of veering round from left to right. So it’s an iron for placement, 250 to run out of fairway. So, probably two and three iron for the pair of us and then a wedge wedgeish onto the green depending on how good the T-shot is. All right, got three iron out just to that bunker in the distance I suppose and ideally as straight and as well hit as possible. Other than that, don’t bother. Oh, that was the swing. That was a great swing. That was better. Get your Get your butt out on the way down. There we go. That was nice. That was better. That’s all I need. Just make me I feel I get more pleasure from ball striking. The occasional birdie wouldn’t go miss either, but ball striking first. Striking first. Ch. Lovely. We’re literally touching balls there. Not again. Going to be flashbacks. Side by side. Been done by a yard with a with a club less as well. 138. Very similar to the last hole, but maybe a slight draft into might be the same club. Bit of a launch pad though as well. Might pop it up into the air. Little fe. Yeah, there’s a lot of room right of the flag as well. Oh, he’s going right a bit. Looks a bit schllicy. Had loads of turn on it. I was trying to take a load off. There is a trap up there, I think. All right. It should be front right corner of the green. club, but trying not to do the same thing as that. I was worried a little bit about your ball then like on the exit. I was thinking, should I get that marked? I was I was thinking that. I mean, your club’s not going to be down there. No, I know, but it was just like So, I got a bit pushy. All right, punchy punchy nine. Kick me. Give me a kick. A bank even. That should kick. That’ll be very good if it gets there. Oh, it’s short. It’s coming back. Freaking hell. Oh dear. Oh yeah. Well, two perfect T- shots. That’s actually still coming. That could be like to be desired. That’s That could be the bottom of this hill here. That’s actually still rolling. Good. Keep eyes on it, Josh. Get in his face. Get misery. Cam. Right. tight lie up the hill. Just going to try and clear that false front and then if it’s a good strike, it should have a little bit of check. A lovely amount of spin on it. Where is I can’t see it. Can’t see it. Stuck it well. Came out a little bit lower than I’d have liked to be fair. Mine’s landed just a tiny bit up here and stopped pretty quick fortunately. Didn’t get all the way back down there. Just bump it about seven or eight paces on and let it trundle up is the play. Yeah. Nice sit. Just hit about two, three feet through the air. A bit more than I wanted, but we’ve got a pretty good chance of saving the par there. Struck it. Nice. All right, long old par put down the slope left to right. Ideal and downwind. Any more good news? Um, don’t know. I could be chipping for bogey. It’s not going to break, is it? Nope. It’s a bogey. That’s a bogey. Well done. Middle of the fairway bogey. Another one. Another middle of the fairway bogey. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Oh, well, you know, it’s a bit frustrating, isn’t it? But then at the end of it, when you reflect, you go, well, that’s golf. We’ll still sleep tonight. How’s that gone left? The ground’s going that way. Maybe this slope here. Every time you make an error, I make an error as well. Choppers. Shame that two good T- shots and then soft soft approaches. I thought I did think that was going to follow the the lie of the land, but not to be. Not to be. move back to one over par for me. But luckily I had the two-stroke advantage. [Music] Happy with that? Straight is kicking. It’s Yeah. Whoa. It’s going to like jump straight into the pines. I’ve actually just seen it rolling, but it literally bounced second bounces at the base of the pine trees. Yeah. Took a huge bounce. I hit it cuz on the watch it’s like 250 to run out of fairway. Yeah. I can pretty much see my ball from here. Better eyes than me then. Yeah, it’s sat right at the base of a tree. So really, it’s that strike, but then it’s got to be that strike. If you did that strike over the corner of the tree, I’d hit that too much on the corner of the fairway. So, we’re basically hitting driver to not find a fairway, but find a find a short approach in find a short approach in. Yeah. or a chip out like me because that where that’s carried to that’s like 290 carry there. See the see the where the pine starts that mound’s 270 and I’m 20 left of that. So I have nutted it but I go over this tree trunk. Yeah, if you go over this small tree in front with your shape, you’ll be spot on. I don’t know what shape I have at the moment to be fair with this thing. That was ripped. That shot. There is a little tree down there, but it should be good. That That was ripped to be fair. Don’t care where it’s finished. It felt good. No noise. That’s perfect. I think Andy has hit an absolute rip snort. He’s like another 50 yards down there. Coming in over there. Mine would have been that way if I aimed that way, but played it too straight. Good news though, only 154 to the front. The gor behind the flag is 178 and the flag is 167. Don’t want to take a 7 cuz out of this lie. Just don’t know whether I’m getting it good enough for it. So, I think I can just hit this. Get it up a little bit. These trees shouldn’t come into play too much. I just go right at the flag because I assume it will go a little left on me. This has come out so right. Don’t know. Cameraman’s see it. landed on the other side of that bank. But on the back side of it, right, be a chip on down the green, right? Nice T- shot. 106 pin. Wow. 100 yards to the front. That’s gone like 380. Yeah. Nice one. So big. That was a nice one. Right. Slightly downwind. 106. So I think just a 100 yard shot just right at the pin do getting up and down really just to try and recall back my score on line. It gave the flag a shudder as it went by. Did it? Yeah. Great shot. I thought I heard something to be fair. Great shot. just nipped the pin on the way through. A two would have been unbelievable if I’m honest. We’ll take a four. Very good shot. Yeah. I mean, how good is that view, by the way? Just the actual golf course used to stretch out. You can see the sea just through the pines here. And the golf course used to go all the way out there. Then due to erosion, they changed a few holes. And this is now the ninth hole here. And then you come back on the other side. But it’s an incredible piece of land. Oh, how’s that checked from that pure strike? Like sat down rough. Couldn’t even get the full club on the ball and I’ve managed to check it. Feel a little bit punished here. really done much wrong and two poor shots. Not when were they? Huh? When were they? T- shot. Second shot. Third shot. Twot was just slightly wrong line. Hit it really well and it went longer than normal. Let’s go. A foot less pace it was in. Very good three. That an eagle. A rare a rare eagle. Very good three. Claws my score back to one over par for the day. That was a a welcome spot of good fortune. P. A par. Two shot swing there, folks. Two shot. It was four. Now it’s only two. As you were back to where we were. Game on. Game on. [Music] 256 to get past this trap on the uh the right hand side. You have the honor, sir. Look away. I mean, play away. Um 454 a par. Is it a five? This can’t be. This is this is a thing. This is longer than the last hole. Last was 480 was it? Oh, was it? That’s 30, I think. I can’t remember. Right. So, just down that little runway of fairway then. Lovely swing. Lovely swing. Oh, it’s three. Three in a row. That is scampering. Look how it’s still going. That was good. That actually still going. That was good. Got my little feel try and feel like I chuck my left bum cheek back in that transition. That’s the swing thought for today. It could change in a couple of weeks when I play again. Yeah. Lovely drive. Perfect. Scampering to the corner. Two good drives. Just nothing to worry about here. Just nothing to worry about. Exactly. Nothing. There’s a lot going on in the world. There’s nothing to worry about. I’d be worried if I was you two shots. No. No. I’m going to get a little bit of cream on the top of this nine here now. back. Another good shot. Played quite nice to be fair thus far. See what happens. Really keep going. Great day. 138 for me. The tiniest bit downwind. Just going to go pitching wedge. Dead at it. I was in so many minds over that then. I should have stepped away. That is just the epitome of indecision there. Well done. Lucky. I hate that when you when you’re indecisive and you Oh, go on. I’ll hit it anyway. It’s such a stupid mistake to make. I’ve got 128 slightly down breeze. So it’s just a just a 3/4 gap bridge. Really gap is a 125. So don’t need all of it with a bit of breeze. Go. Distance was goodish. Accuracy little two, but it’s fine. We can we can make that put. Stranger things have happened. No, it’s tracking. Look good. Look good all the way. Right. Oh gosh, you were clicky then. Oh, these knees are they’ve been doing this since I was about 15. I can’t I’m surprised I’m still walking to be honest. Give it another 10 years. The granddad open. Oh, now rolled. Nice. It’s a good line. Just just overre it. Well done. Over it. Easy. Comfortable follow. Well done. Thank you, sir. There’s a little bit of twoing and throwing there. What was nearly a three. It went from looking like a three to a five to a three to a four. It was quite the roller coaster ride, but after nine holes, we’re pretty much back where we started. Two strokes in it. Yeah. Currently one under, you currently one over. Let’s keep on going. Path three next. And then some fantastic holes coming in down the stretch. 16, 17, 18 are brilliant. So, oh yeah, stay tuned and remember, get that junior organizer or your secretary of your golf club to be dropping us an email to be in with a chance of your junior section winning the prizes. Who will it be? Me or Andy? Find out after another nine holes. [Music] 185 yards. Our 10th hole pin. Uh just right of center. A little bit on the front. Well, it looks pretty middle actually. Yeah. 185 wins off the left. Off the left here. You got seven, right? Seven. I think it’s just a full seven. Yeah. Yeah. I think it’s just a full seven out the pin. Try and hold it with a draw. Well out. Pulley again. That’s two in a row pulled. It’s about 40 short. Yeah. Not the best. Didn’t use the wrong tor then. You needed your red one. No. No. Believe it or not, it was nothing to do with the tea, folks. It was actually just just a bit of a poor strike. But we’ll try and get up and down. Bit of a poor strike. Oh, you with the supercharge. Although a lot fatter than mine. That was all that talk of crickets just absolutely infiltrating my mind. And maybe No, he’s got something else to blame, hasn’t he? Oh, he’s blaming something else. Just a bad shot, Matthew. It was a bad shot. It was a cricket swing over a golf swing. It was 10 times worse than mine. Oh, that’s gone. didn’t get the pace up that initial part and it took it best. Right. This is uh up the slope, right to left, then up another little slope. Uh maybe even a little bit left to right, then down the slope at the end. So, this folks is close your eyes and hope for the best. Nope, that’s crap. I didn’t think anything could be worse than mine, but yep, that wasn’t very good. Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear. We’re having a little bit of a hack down this hole. We’ll be with you in a minute. See you on the next. A slight intermission as we chop our way through the tenth. The easiest of the par 3s here. Press that little uh 30 second button. Go forwards. Oh, he’s got it. What a putt. Unbelievable. What a putt. Unbelievable scenes. I hope you didn’t press the 30 seconds. I’ve just just held a pot outside of 4 foot. Wow. Well, they never looked anywhere different other than threes, did they? We were just playing with you. We were just playing with you. Two easy threes. Well done, Carter. Couple of pars. Just ballers holding out here. They go down as one puts as well. Pure footage hold. The greens are bloody brilliant. So you can just pick your line and roll it. Right then onto the next. No drama. [Music] It is a path four that is 384 yards. Goes up to the green and it’s sort of like in a little amphitheater. A lot of bunkers down there. Yeah, the bunkers are all at 206 232 on the left and 236 254 to get by on the right. So it’s basically thread and hope. Yeah. Poor driver. How far is it? 2 370. It’s not exactly ridiculously short either, is it? Can’t go down much lower into draft. What’s that one on the left? 230. The one on the left 230. Yeah, the one on the right is 250. And there’s also another one at 206 on the right. And 230. Three up the right, one up the left. All right. Going to use my 230 club. Eh, makes sense. So reload. That’s so bad. That was awful. That was awful. I sense a hesitation of doubt in the club choice there. No, no, just you reloading cuz that just left the face open. Very, very open. Better chance of finding a rhino over there than you have your ball. It’s not cutting. Presume it’s good, isn’t it? Got it a little bit necky, a little bit steery. Hopefully it’s got past that trap cuz it came out bit meh. But even so, that type too with the Mitsubishi logo. If you find that in a year and it’s gone all yellow, just email us. This is a provisional just in case. He’ll be playing this one. Maybe I will. Don’t worry about it. Yeah, good shot. Look at these little little gruesies here. Just turn around, Josh. Just get the little greasies just on their travels. A cuties. Let’s see if we can escape a poor T-shot with a with a nicely executed second and get back on get back on me merryway. Come on. Good strike. I don’t think it’s not moving though. Yeah, short left. Joe can probably see that more than me. I can’t see a ting fring fringe. Maybe left fringe. Good strike. Just didn’t move. Good shot. I’ll take it. That is where golf IQ prevailed there. Not my best T-shot, but it was enough to get by all the bunkers and give myself just a little look. 80 yards at the stick. So Andy really had to thread it with that club selection. So 54 now. Try and get in close. Is it on the green front edge? How’s that not got there? Weirded. Nice shot I don’t normally play very often. Little 50°ree chip and run. I used to play this loads when I was a junior. It’s very simple shot, but always quite quick to grab a 54. Get this pitch in just onto the green and then releasing sit there. Very well done. That was nice. That was nice. Well done. Not a bad little park considering I went rhino hunting, which is which is illegal by the way. Don’t do it. One whether I make it or not. Break. Break. Break. What’s that? What’s that ball marker? That’s Kill Spindy Golf Club. Andrew. Oh, nice. Lovely little one just uh up in the uh G coast of East Lotheian. Is it? We played Kill Spindy, didn’t we? Or have we? I’m thinking of Kilman at Brassy. Yeah, it’s the other side of the country. Oh yeah. Tupe feel there. Oh well. [Music] Andy 12th hole here. We are. We’re on the 12th hole. How you feeling about your chances? Um, yeah, why not? Yeah, I’m fine. I’m good. There’s a couple of good shots in me still. Maybe make a birdie or two. I need to stop making mistakes when Frian makes mistakes. We need to stop being crap at the same time, but otherwise, yeah, plenty of golf left. How would you rate your game out of 10 today? Four. Wow. Four. Four. But I need to maybe raise it to an eight. So, we’ll see if I can do that for six holes. Well, our 12th hole is 47 yards. Heading back to a plethora of pine trees there, Andy. A raised green. A lovely hole. You go out to fairway. It drops and then it goes back up bunker at 246 down the uh the right and then the next one’s 386 next to the green. So, you’ve gone three iron. Three iron. Yeah, that little bit downwind as well. Just get it chasing down that fairway and see if we can get up and down. Oh, such a good strike. Yeah, that’s fine. It was a beauty. Stay there. Happy with that shot. Nice T- shot. Good T ball. Yep. That’ll be a little flick on. Good, good, good. Good shot. Probably not on the fairway because it does narrow up there, but it’s not going to be very far to the hole, so it’s not the end of the world. Exactly. That’s the main thing. No danger. No dou. We carry on, juniors. I will deliver you some MF logoed rangefinders. Don’t be want wanting any of that Andy carpet chat in your life. Wow, that flag must be clinging onto the back. 165 pin. Wower 130 front edge of the green. 165 pin. Um, hit a n ir 150 into the middle of the green. One bounce, a little bit of downwind, and then just hold off before we hit the back edge. Quite a strong downwind. What did I say? 165. 165. So, probably a 10 yard wind this sound a little bit pulley, which might send it too far. Left maybe. Nope. It’s a long way away. It’s not. It’s not. I think it was probably the right club. It was poorly aligned to the flag. Well, just fallen off the fairway. Good news is it’s 100 yards. Front of the green is 76. So, if I hit like a 90 yard shot, this should should do, I think. be a good number. Looks should be good. From here, looks all right. Looked about six or seven feet from here. See if we’ve got the distance dialed in. Look like he just caught a little slope and went left. Good distance control there. I got it to about 10 foot. Sneaky little pin here. If if he’s not careful, it runs away a lot after the hole. So, if he gets a bit gets a bit feisty with it. Oh dear. Bit pacy. Oh dear. On that line. Oh dear. Oops. Is it you or me? No. No, it’s you. You sure? Yeah. But good birdie. This could be a big big swing, folks. Pushed it. Picked a good line, but no, I pushed it. Pushed it. Never mind. Poor first putter. She’s having fun. I am. Yeah. Yeah. This is your This is like your cup final. So, I’m just like I’m I’m happy for you. I’m This is like your I’m celebrating I’m celebrating your good shots. You are City. No. Never. Never. City. You’re not going to win anything. Never. I’m celebrating your good shots with you. I’m happy for you. I’m just out here on a brilliant golf course enjoying myself. [Music] Right. Where are we? 13th hole, 410 yards. It looks I mean, I’m looking at this for the first time as well, folks. Um, bunker at the right there at 300. First bunker we get to, actually is two 250. There’s a bunker on the left at 260 and the next one at 300. So, I think this could be driver over the first bunker on the right. Slightly into wind as well. Or it could even be an bit 410 into wind. Left rough anyway. Yeah. Bit pulley. Right. I’m going to go driver as well. Little bit left of yours. Yours actually isn’t too bad. I don’t think they’re fine there. Looks looks all right. Doesn’t look too chaotic down there. Yeah. I knew the wind was like straight into I was trying to tell myself it was off the right to try and hit a bit of a draw. It’s fine now. It’s playable. Right. 142 pin into wind coming out the rough. A little bit of a pulley drive. Not a million miles off the fairway to fair. It look worse from the tea if I’m honest. Um bunker at 130, flag at 140. So I need to play just right off that pin. Looks like it slopes in as well. So might need to get down. Looks great from here. But then I got that’s my eyesight. It could it could be on another hole. Right, we’ve got 144. Now I’ve got a mouthful of grass. 144. This green’s an interesting one. It banks in from both sides. So I think if you take dead aim and you leak it, it’s not the end of the world either way. Just right of the stick. Needs a little kick. Oh, that is disgusting. It landed about six foot right of the stick and kicked right off the green. It looked like And it was a little bit short. It came out a little bit funky, but wow. I did not expect that on a bank that goes this way to kick that way. That has just gone absolutely nowhere. Really nice. How bizarre. Just a weird one that it came out and it ball’s fault. Just didn’t go. The ball’s fault. The ball came out. Thought I just punched it and it didn’t seem to go its normal distance. But up and down here, he’ll three putt anyway, so it’s no worry. Oh, so good. Go in. Oh, pretty good from that. It nearly went in. It was an inch right of the hole on its second pitch and spinning. So, we’ve got seven or eight ft for par. All right. Just somewhere like the line is between prize ball and the pin. The pace is unknown. Bye. We’re chipping. Everybody wave. We’re chipping. That’s a D green, everyone. Was it on it? D green to D green. Ball’s fault. Ball’s fault. I No, that’s all my fault. I take I can take I can take responsibility for my action. You want it in or out? No, you can leave it in, Matt. Okay, cool. Oh, I can take responsibility for my actions. Poor distance control for my second poor T- shot. It’s going to yield poor results, isn’t it? Everybody wave as it goes by. It’s a bit fast. It’s a little bit fast. You trying to keep your turn or something this hole? No, I wasn’t actually. I was trying to get quite close to the flag. I just kept misjudging the pace. [Laughter] Lovely, lovely, lovely stuff. It happens, Matthew. You know, you make you make errors in this game. We do. And sometimes you make more than you’d like. And a match between a match between us is about who makes the fewest errors. Oh, okay. Just uphill at the end slightly. It’s a shame that quite a few good shots in there. No, you can afford to make errors. I’ll make more. Oh, bit short. The good news, Andy, it’s only a two put, Matthew. Exactly. It goes down with two foot. See, I can get ahead of Matt’s banter ahead of him now. It’s that bad. Oh, I’ve seen some stuff in my time. He was as soon as I was in that bunker, it was I’m going to get in front. He just dropped one on me. Absolutely chopper. On to the next. [Music] Well, the lead has gone to five, ladies and gents. We’re on the 14th. 413 yards. Dog leg from right to left. It’s pretty much just on the uh the pro shop with a little draw or on the flag mast is a good line here. And just let it bumble bumble on down there to the fairway. You got about 310 to run out at that point. turned and left the face open. Bounce, bounce, bounce. That is on the 15th. That was the old swing there. Just didn’t quite line the shaft up. It’s all right there, though, is it? Yeah, it’s fine. Bloody hell. Exactly the same spot. Yeah, not great. Bit high on the face that one actually, which is not ideal. Try and make myself draw it and then I just kind of bail out. Scared of the overdraw. Just playing in your little pot. It’s just playing golf with fear, isn’t it? Just very unpracticed. Not the worst misses here, Andrew. No, not too bad. 154 flag 132 front 147 middle 160 back 15 four being the number it’s into wind isn’t it towed the living life get left out of that I was in a very different space in my head there was thinking about going for a pint with me mate to text me before I’ve not responded to that. I’m at the top of my back swing. Ah, alcohol will do that to you. Alcohol does that to you. What day is it? Thursday. Oh, yeah. It’s nearly the weekend. Oh, Oh, wow. Wow. Not even a look at that. That’s disgusting. They were two world beaters of shots. Yep. That was crap. Nice strike shot. So nipped. Good shot. Bit unlucky how that’s gone to the right so much cuz it pitched right in line with a stick and was zipped. Right. I’ve just quickly thought about contemplating putting this to be fair, but try and try and get a nice strike with a lob wedge. Open the face a little bit. Try and get it landing soft on the fringe. That’s too hard. Lovely strike. Too hard. Too hard. Complimenting the last couple of holes quite nicely. Right. Sneaky little slope that ain’t it. Mine actually pitched dead in line and has shoved itself six foot right. Good miss off the tea. Bad miss off the second. How do you want it out, Mr. Cherry? Yeah. Take it away. Right. Bit left to right. Right to left. Even wrong way that left to right. I’m going to help you there because it’ll be further away than where you start. Go a little bit. Oh, unbelievable. Might get a smile out of him. I’m not promising anything. I’m having a lovely day. Not promising anything. I’m having a lovely day. I don’t need to play to the camera to prove that I’m having a good day. You You feel a bit like a fun sponge. I am having a good day. It’s a great golf course. It’s very enjoyable. We’re very lucky to play such fantastic courses. and hold the occasional putter. Okay. Bad bow in a hole like that. Really? Well, I’m not too worried cuz I actually hit a class chip there that just got a little bit duddled by the slope here. Class next. The next is lovely. [Music] 15th hole, 407 yards straight and straight down wind as well. Um I can’t massively remember it. Just I think after we get past the mounds it might just narrow up a little bit. Narrows and like swelles. Hence the three. Suppose if you got if you got a nice arrow straight driver going, you could get in and around it with this wind and the firmness of the fairways. Get a nice bounce. Can Marco Pangit Penge a brilliant shot. Awesome. Straight into the mound. Short of it. Oh yeah. Blind second. All right. Blind second. Really well. Really well played shot that. Just left the face open, flared it off to the right. Managed to even fade it into a slight right to left wind. No, that was that was descriptive that actually. When’s Finchy back? He’s too big. He’s too big to film with you. You film my sweet douche. Nibble. Right. Four iron for me down the uh left hump. Good job. Yep. Good job. Well played. Right. Get my There we go. Probably his driver in it. Really take your chances with a lie. Four shots in it. Four holes to go. Not looking great to be fair, but you know what? We’ve played three fantastic golf courses in this series. Barewood Lakes, Sutton Cfield, and now Formbby. So, you know what? We’re blessed to be out playing great golf courses, and that is the main thing. That’s all that counts. So, we’ll try and get through these next four holes. Maybe try and get a couple under and see where takes us. You never know, do you? You never know. Golf. There’s a lot of golf left. 150 front downwind from the roof. I don’t suppose there’s anything in the way, is there? Uh, just some more sandunes. Okay. Try and land this high pitching wedge. Try and get an angle, a line somewhere somewhere over there. Chaps. Right in between the bush and the top of the mound could potentially be the right line. Maybe if there was a maybe if there was if we were level pegging or there was a shot I might run to the top of that hill. But right, I think that is the line. Good looking shot. Really good looking shot. Oh. Oh, you’ve had a lovely little bit of luck. It’s on the green just shy of pin high. Right, I’ve got 147 flag. Wind’s sort of straight across now. It feels like it’s switched in the last hour or so. Felt like it was down straight on the other one and it’s working its way around. So, nine iron bit right at the flag. Oh, bit slidy that. Very slidy. Come on, give us a kick. No, obviously not. Just cleared all the mounts. Sit. All right. See if we can maybe hold one. It would be Good line. Oh, you booger. Good fall that from there. Yes. Would have been a really nice three if I hit it a bit harder. Good par. Yeah, needed that. Bit of a momentum builder for me. Would have been a shame to drop three coming to land that fell. It’ll do. It’ll do. Great par three now coming up. Lovely hole this and a par five and a challenging par four to end. [Music] 137 to the spongiest of fun. Slightly downwind. It’s just not taking back too much. Just he’s almost gone. Just a boring person. Wow. That’s getting stronger. I’ve got a wedge, but it’s not all of it. But I don’t feel like it’s strong enough for a gap wedge, but maybe it will be. Time will tell. It carries that bunker, which it might not. It’ be a good shot. Oh, it did. Wow. That was a bit fat as well. Really? We’re not fat. Diggy. I got the ball first. A bit steep. I think gap does it. Really? What a day. Holding one would be lovely here, wouldn’t it? Could be some session in Liverpool. Kimmy, I’m not coming home tonight. It’s good yardage, but the wind’s just like stopped. Well, it weirdly when it got to the top, it just looked like it massively needed to go. But then that’s my eyes. It’s all right. It’s on right now. It’s blowing. Right. We’ve just teed off on 16. The gap is four. Both hit the green. Don’t know who’s closer. Maybe Andy, but I feel like I’ve got enough now in the tank just to stumble home, really. Um, should be should be good. Now I get for the next few months to just call myself champion and just be texting Carter pretty much every day. Remember that time you lost the feuds? So, let’s see if we can uh just do that. Let’s get done. Get up. Go. Right. Okay. Little downhill left to righter. See if we can add a birdie to the scorecard. We Well done, sir. Very nice. Tell you what, this is big big all of a sudden. Could be a could be a twoot swing. Even the flies are helping me out. Don’t want to murder a fly. God, he’s remarking it. Christ alive. Absolute FA Cup final for this kid. Jesus. Get a move on. Good three. Well done. The deficit’s now three. Andrew, it’s down to three. One a hole and we we’ll get it all square. [Music] Couple of bunkers to be aware of on here. 290 and 320 to clear. Which ones? We can see that. Well, you have a guess, sunshine. What’s the What’s the first on the left and then the second one? Relevant. First one on the right is like 240. First one on the right is 240. 290 the left and 320. 320 is the last one. It’s a par five. It’s 532 yards at the clock tower. Let it laid. Let the limo take it, baby. Big moments here. He’s just got a birdie. He’s feeling juicy. It’s a good shot. Bounce back. Yeah. Class that. Very good, sir. Thanks. I I looked away. I didn’t want to see it bounce right. Just thought it just protects my mental health. It’s fine there. Yeah. Members bounce just down the right of the fairway. Safely does it. Little squeezer. A fairway finder. Little tentative that one, wasn’t it? It’s not my favorite shot, that one there. But it’s in play. Job is done. Right then. Game on. Two fairways found here. 216 front, 236 middle, 256 back, 240 flag. Yeah, that’s nice for that. Just up the left and just a tiny cut. Leaked it slightly right, but it’ll be okay. That’ll do. Should have hit a bit of a driller then. Just popped it up. Yeah, the wind’s not ideal really. It’s a perfect yardage for a three eye into the pin, but wind’s going to slow it down a touch. But see if we can find the first front portion. Nope, that’s not a draw. That’s by the side of me between my Yeah, right next to me. Good miss. Flags on the right. Miss it right. Gosh, so intelligent. It’s okay. It’s okay. It’s just a little not non draw. That was that was nearly very good. That was such a hard shot. I thought I was going to do a little a time, but I’m going to try and land this a bit higher up with a lob wedge. Very well played. Oh, short. How’s that gone? Short for a minute there. I thought that was going to be a couple of feet shy and just Well, I was kind of thinking I probably need to Very well done. I was going to think I probably need to hold it really, but pretty simple shot, but executed lovely. Yeah, I mean I wouldn’t have said it was simple, but was pretty straight. You had a uphill hit it. Oh, you kidding me now? Come on. Just a bit hard or a bit left. One of the two. All right, I think just relative it a bit firmer and don’t give it much. Well done. Great up and down. Lovely up and down. Back where we started all the way at the last hole. Two birdies in a row. Wow. Unbelievable. starting to loosen up after 37. That’s not right. That’s 35. You can go in yet. A bit nervous. Um, no, he should be okay. He should He shouldn’t be nervous going last with a two shot lead. Although he could hit into the car park, though, to be fair to him. Yeah, I’ve I’ve definitely seen him hit it high right with that driver. [Music] 418 is the final par four straight down with trapios on 206 207 218 and 26 7 right seven Bruno right smash need a two shot swing here don’t we gosh um out the pin I presume those bonkers in the far that that green side the far ones uh they’re miles away are they? Yes. Yeah. You notice how Andy’s come a little bit more alive now. He’s like close to the game. We’re in the exact same position we started. Yeah. I’m having fun. It’s a nice shot to nice strike to finish the day. Lovely shot. Absolutely lovely. Just need a good T-shot down the last send, doesn’t it? It’s all you need. Should be fine. Same as you. Yep. Be side by side. Side be side. Don’t know what that was, but I did it right then. 134 little chests to this one off a up slope down side slope. So I’m going to hit nine iron. It’s into the wind. Knock it just a bit left of the flag and let it come back on. Pulley pulley looks a bit long as well. pulls generally are. I thought that would have wind been here and just fighting against it, but 113. I’ve actually boxed this shot before as I told you earlier. So, that would be quite incredible if it happened again and surprising. 113 did you say? Yeah. So, you were 24 y in front of me from five in front 10. It looks more like 113 than what of a yardage you came out with. 144. It’s 104 to here. Fair. Good shot. This very good shot. Ah, there’s a chance. Probably a bit shy, I think. Maybe a bit shy, but there’s a chance. Never leave your eagle approach shot short. How’s it mine, Matt? Oh, awesome. Tell you what, have you got unlucky with a really poor approach shot? I mean, yeah. Pulled it a bit and it’s plugged in the face. Absolutely limping home, isn’t he? He had a five shot lead before. The absolute chopper. I basically gave it him. What the hell? He’s a light. Welcome to the video, Andy. Oh, nice of you to turn up. I My demeanor’s not changed. Yeah. Let’s wind back to when the fun sponge was walking down there. Having a great day. Jeez, that is that is tasty. To be fair though, you know it’s going to you know it’s going to roll. You know it’s left to right. It’s downhill. Just here with my friends and it’s been fun out here now. He’s all right. Yeah. Just finding the revets here. You’re not allowed to use the revets. You just You’re absolutely destroying the bunker. I’m trying to get a stance. Not my issue. Good effort applied. Maybe you might even three put. I might What? What do you reckon, Joe? Might fry a three put and Andy caught a one put. Just turn the tables at the end of the day. I reckon he’d crash your own car off a bridge. That was a huge, huge glute workout. Pressure is on. Well, move them. So, I got this to tie the whole thing. Wow. That’s low. It’s low. Always had a chance. Never mind. The feuds. Considering how bad I’ve been and how terrible I am at golf, I’ve actually beat you today. Wow. You beat me once, which is even crazy, isn’t it? Player of your caliber. Well done. There we go, ladies and gentlemen. Well done. Limped over limped over the line. Limped over. Yeah, just pause. Just one bogey, I think it was, limping. Had a couple of birdies. He decided to turn up. But guys, I hope you enjoyed it. Absolutely awesome.
