Georgia men’s golf will be well represented as four Bulldog alumni take part in the 2025 Ryder Cup. Russell Henley and Harris English will compete for Team USA, in addition to Kevin Kisner serving as a Vice Captain. Sepp Straka will compete for Team Europe.
The three-day tournament will take place at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York, from Friday, September 26, to Sunday, September 28. This international competition will feature the top players from the United States and Europe, going head to head on one of golf’s biggest stages.
Henley will be making his Ryder Cup debut, while English will be competing for the second time. The two were announced as automatic qualifiers following the BMW Championship in August. This is Kisner’s first Ryder Cup appearance as a captain or player, as he was selected to serve as a vice captain for Team USA by captain Keegan Bradley.
Straka returns for his second Ryder Cup appearance, bringing Bulldog alumni to both sides of the competition. Straka was announced as a captain’s pick by Europe’s captain Luke Donald on September 1st, following a standout year on the PGA TOUR.
The competition features foursomes and four-ball matches on Friday and Saturday, followed by 12 singles matches on Sunday. Pairings and starting times will be announced via the Ryder Cup’s website. Coverage will air nationally across NBC and Golf Channel throughout the weekend.
