Sunroom was destroyed. Finally rebuilt months later with much taller ceilings.

Room is 24×12×9 at the lowest ceiling point.
My office will be on the non minisplit side. I intend on using that 12×12 box for office and wanting the 12×12 box on the minisplit side for a golf sim. It is slightly hard to see but there is an outlet in the ceiling on the mini split side that can support a projector.

Also from wall to minisplit is 11ft. So some of these 12ft wide hitting bays worry me. I'm also comfortable letting the hitting area go outside of the 12ft length away from wall if needed.

I have a old gaming pc with a 4060 In it. I'm comfortable running any software.

I have worries about protecting the minisplit/windows and airflow of having a hitting area going towards it. I'm also comfortable only being able to support right handed hitters.

Thoughts on the space and how you'd do it?
EDIT: I'm not thrilled at the idea of moving my office space to the minisplit side. mini split side is a spare bedroom and those doors are not used, non mini split side will have a desk that returns on the left side and fits the area, and is very high traffic because it connects the sunroom to the living room.
main portion of desk will be up against the window, and return will be going back towards the door.

I’d go the non mini split side, impact screen with retractable drapes , 10 feet with a net above

    should be awesome

  2. Your sim side will need to be more like 12×16 or at least make sure the area towards the middle of the room on your office side is clear. For example, if you had like a coffee table right at the 12’ mark it will interfere with your backswing.

I would consider switching sides as well. Even if you get a 10’ wide enclosure, the mini split is going to be blowing right into that and probably interfering with airflow. If you want the best possible setup, I’d try to see about moving that mini split to the middle of the room or above that door

To protect windows you can get some heavy sim curtains on tracks on either side, and pull them out to cover the window/doors on either side while playing.
