I’m excited for this Ryder Cup. I’m going to explain to you shortly how I’m going to work tonight. I’m excited. Right. Let’s go. Go. So, hello. Welcome. In tonight’s video, I am playing against an imaginary Yank. Don’t know what we’ll call him. We’ll keep referring to him as the imaginary Yank. This is Beth Paige Black off of the back tease at 7,400 yard. pretty much identical to what the pros will be playing this week in the Ryder Cup. Um, how it’s going to work is the Imaginary Yank is going to par every O. I’m playing 7,400 and Summit yard golf course. If I am to win a hole in this Sunday single scenario that I’ve set up in the figment of my imagination, I’ve got to Birdie Owls. So, let’s do it. This first hole is downhill. It’s a par4. Let’s give it a try. Hopefully the Ryder Cup does not hinge on whether I win the Imaginary Yank tonight or not, but we’ll give it a go. Best of luck to you. Yeah, play well. Whatever. Right. Come on. Let’s find fairway first. We’ve got three wood. Okay. Slightly off. Look at that left roof. Stay there. what we wanted off the first. I wonder what number I’d go out it were rider cup. As you can see, I’ve got me somewhat team colors on. I’ve got a bit of white and blue on 181 out of the deep rough thing with this course. What did it set up on the snow? Um, deep rough is literally like two yards off the fairway. So, I’ve only got 181, but I’m going to hybrid because this is going to come out dead. That is not bad from there. 23 yd chip and I need it in a small circle otherwise we’ve gone one down on the first. Not the greatest of starts. You’re a 23 deep rough again. Only about two yard off at green. Yes, saved it. All square. I’ll keep you up to date with the scores as we’re going along. Right, next pole. Par 4 392. All square. Pretty good start. Just check make sure everything is all okay. Yeah, beautiful. Still good. Right. Similar shot to what we got off at first. Hopefully try and leave this on about 150 here. 392 it is. That looks good. Yes, we’re good. Hey, we’re driving it okay today. Imaginary Yank has got his work cut out against this fiery European. 187. I don’t know how far up hill it’s playing. I’m going to guess about six yards. So, let’s go 193. 173 to front. Playing 179. I’m going to try and hit a really hard six iron here. Well struck. It’s drawing. Be good. Sit a bit. Well, what a start. We’re all square after four. This could go right down to the wire. I hope we’re not the last game today because I will be checking like as they say as it were. Right, driver 408. Bunker maybe. I don’t mind that. Do you know? I’d rather be in bunker there than in uh deep rough cuz it don’t take that much distance off you. Does take a little bit off though. Worst drive so far. It’s another push one, but it is long. That line is really deceptive. I thought I pushed that then. And it’s right down the middle. We don’t mind that. Right. 238 to the flag. I think it’s going to be a hybrid again. Come on. Let’s not make a balls of this like we did the last one. Straight at it. I’ve done exact same as what I did a couple of holes ago. And I don’t feel like cutting it in because I can’t really fade it indoors on a sim. So, uh 193. It’s playing. I can’t get it over that tree and stop it. I think I’m going to have to cut it. Do you know what was really annoying? I can’t remember how much the last bunker shot took off. fit distance wise. I think it did okay. I don’t think he took loads off. Quick reminder, Europe, mate, is one up because I’m one under. Birdies win holes, bogeies lose holes. could be good. We’re doing all right, you know. We’re hanging around. Boogie free so far. Just the one birdie means that we’re one up. And that’s right, you guessed it. Another 500 yard par four. Come on, Jack. Stay concentrated. This this point could be what wins or loses the RDER Cup. Don’t know why I keep putting me drive head cover back on. So, I’ve got 246, but because it’s in the deep rough, I’ve got no chance of reaching green. So, uh more tempted to lay up and leave me 120. If I hit a good threewood, it’s probably going to come out to that anyway cuz this rough absolutely kills you. All right, that was struck. That’s a good shot. Well, that’s as good as I could have done then. So, my actual carry of that shot was 246 and because of the deep rough it’s carried 139.8. So, yeah. Right. We got to get up and down from 62 now. Otherwise, our American counterpart is back all square and we don’t want that. 62. Come on. be good. That’s huge. Whisp pumping like Sevy coming off that green. Come on. And we’ve got a par five and we know birdie wins it. 607 though. I might struggle to get there in three on this one if I don’t hit fairway. Right. Straight down. Looks like Oon. Right. Right. I just felt my angle of attack going down on that one a little bit more just to squeeze it out a bit more of a fairway finder, but it’s worked nicely. Could be talking absolute bollocks there as well, but right 24 is the layup area. I’m going to wait 90 to hopefully leave myself at 70 80 or do I go shorter and try and hit fat part at fairway. No, straight off the middle of that bunker. Got a draw. It is doing though. Yeah, that’s good. Right. real chance here to go to up almost unassalable lead at 72. We’ll just add 62. I’m two up. I can taste that point. All right, just a good solid straightish eight iron. I’m just overturned it. Get in somehow. We’re piling the pressure on. Imaginary sandb burns though, aren’t we? Come on. Right, this looks hard. This is the hole where you’re like 15 yard below level at green if you’re at middle at fairway. So, I’m gonna be brave. I’m gonna go driver. I’ve been hitting a a nice little little draw most of day. So, hopefully up that right hand side. Move it back a little bit. It looks good. I think it’s just got to go a little bit. Good old don’t be in deep rough. Right now we are screwed. That’s great. So the play here is I’m going to try and bash a threewood. Just see if how close to green I can get it. Or do I go hybrid? It’s ming either way. I must way there. Yeah, I am. No, let’s go fairway and let’s try and leave oursel a wedge third shot. So 188 to the end of the fairway it is 119 and then that leaves me quick math 69 59 right not the worst thing at well being as short as what I were then cuz I think we’ve got a nice full 50 here now so this This is the This is This is what we’ve all tuned in for. And this is the nitty-gritty. This This is going to make or break the RD cup this year. So 113 plane 124. I’m just going to a good solid 50 and hope it don’t spin too much. I think it’s left. Hold your line. Spin. Oh, that’s annoying. First bogey of the day comes on 15. Could be squeaky bum time soon. We need to make a par or a birdie here to uh steady the ship. We’ve got to bunker shot of his life to keep it going. So, we can hold it to win a point. We can put it in the little circle to half the match or I could miss it and we lose. This is severely devastating stuff. Come on. If it goes in, I might actually take me top off. Oh no. Oh, it’s a disaster. Look at that finish. I’ve just lost three out of last four holes.
