Registrations are now open for the final event in the 2025 Australian Sign and Graphics Association (ASGA) Sign and Print Golf Day series, which will be held at the Heidelberg Golf Club in Lower Plenty, Victoria on 20 November.
There was a strong showing at the 2024 event in Melbourne, and ASGA is expecting this year’s iteration to be equally popular, with its focus on friendly competition and networking.
The format will be similar to previous events, with teams gathering at 7:30am for breakfast and registration, before a shotgun start at 8:30am.
A full 18 holes of golf will be played in the ‘Ambrose’ format, with team members taking turns to hit the ball – each from the place where the last ball landed.
“We are excited to have secured the opportunity to play at the beautiful Heidelberg Golf Course, which is not only conveniently located close to the city, but offers a course challenging enough for even the keenest golfer, with fantastic club and catering facilities to ensure we are well looked after for food and drinks,” said Damian Nielsen, member and events manager for ASGA.
“As well as the opportunity to take on this fantastic course, players have the chance to win a host of prizes – from nearest the pin to the hotly contested Survival Ball and, of course, to make new connections and catch up with industry friends and colleagues which, at the end of the day, is what it’s all about.”
The day will conclude with lunch, drinks and prize presentations at the Club Rooms.
“These days are the perfect way to expand your network, reward your staff, or entertain your clients, supporting the relationships which are so vital in underpinning business success,” Nielsen added.
“Last year, the day sold out fast, so if you’re keen to join in for a great day with industry peers, I’d encourage you to register yourself, or get a team together, to make the most of the opportunity.”
The ASGA 2025 Sign and Print Golf Series is sponsored by Spicers, Bentleigh Group, Bounce LED & LetterTech, Graphic Art Mart, Mulford, ORAFOL, Signarama and SMIB. Peak Install joins as a local sponsor for the Melbourne event.
“There are still some great sponsorships available for companies who are prepared to get behind this event while enjoying an effective and affordable way to promote their business to industry professionals,” Damian says.
