Marketed as the longest ball in the Zstar range, the XV didn’t quite top the charts in testing. Surprisingly, it fell just behind the Zstar Diamond at all three driver swing speeds. That said, at a fast 114 mph swing speed, it was nearly neck andneck. Srixen builds the XV as the lowest spinning option in the Zstar family. While that’s technically true off the tee, testing showed that it still holds its own around the greens. In fact, it produced slightly more greenside spin than the standard Zstar by about 22 RPM, showing that low spin doesn’t mean sacrificing control where it matters most. Out on the course, the XV’s reputation as a tour favorite makes perfect sense. It’s consistent, versatile, and provides a reliable blend of distance and control. While that won’t suit everyone, golfers who struggle to launch the ball high enough or who tend to lose shots left will find it especially beneficial. Precision and stopping power make attacking pins fun. You can throw this ball at the flag and trust it to sit. The Callaway Chrome Tour X isn’t just another premium golf ball. It’s one of the best options on the market for players who demand maximum spin and control. While it may not deliver the same raw distance as some lower spinning balls, its tea to green consistency and worldclass short game performance make it a favorite among tour professionals and serious golfers alike. Pros: High spin with irons for steeper descent and accuracy. Workable and consistent tea to green. Premium tour proven quality. Cons: loses distance compared to lower spin balls. Having tested the E12 Speed on the course multiple times, I can confidently say it never disappoints. My first round left me questioning if it was really a two-piece ball because its performance rivals many three-piece tour level models. Overall, the Ta Green performance is extremely impressive. Despite being a two-piece ball, the E12 Speed should not be dismissed lightly. If you’re searching for a golf ball that offers tour level performance at a fraction of the price, the Bridgestone E12 Speed is an easy choice. It’s hands down the best value ball in the test and one of the top performing balls overall. Every golfer owes it to themselves to give this one a try. Pros: Two-piece design rivals many Tourle balls. Excellent value for performance. Consistently reliable on the course. Cons: Greenside control is not as strong as top tier balls.
