RANDOLPH — The Randolph Lions Club held its 22nd annual Larry Sullivan Memorial Golf Tournament on Sept. 10 at Cardinal Hills Golf Course with 136 golfers on hand.

The event raised more than $30,000 to help the Lions Club in its efforts to help many in need in the greater Randolph area.

Highlighting the day was a hole in one by Shawn Houston. Using a 5-iron, the Falconer native aced the 170-yard fourth hole, which earned him a cash prize — sponsored by Shults Auto Group — that he will split with the Randolph Lions Club.

Following are the winners: Terry Stark, Jay Koniak, Jason Siafakas and Lefty Mendell, Men’s Team; Jake and Patty Searle and Dave and Sue Emley, Mixed Team; and Tom Wade, Jody Seiberg, Jim Williams and Jerome Davis, 3 and 1 Team.

Closest to the pin were Houston (No. 4), Brady Morrison (No. 9), Bob Shipherd (No. 11) and Kevin O’Rourke (No. 18). Sinking the longest putt was Blake Morrison (No. 9), and Tana Bowen and Taylor Beaver recorded the longest drives.
