LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – A boy is dead after a golf cart crash in Lincoln County.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, it happened Sunday afternoon on South Fishing Creek Road.
The sheriff’s office says the golf cart was being driven by a female juvenile when it went off the road and overturned.
They say a male juvenile passenger died from his injuries at the hospital.
The coroner hasn’t released any names, but tells WKYT the driver is 15 years old, and the victim was a 7th grader at Lincoln County Middle School.
The case is now under investigation.
