AURORA, ONTARIO – The Tennessee women’s golf team is set to tee off in its second event of the spring, taking part in the inaugural Canadian Collegiate Invitational, co-hosted by Michigan and Kent State.
The event features 54 holes of play with 36 holes Monday and the final round Tuesday.
The tournament is set to be played at Beacon Hall Golf Club. The Beacon Hall course was a design collaboration between Bob Cupp and Tom McBroom and opened for play in 1988. There are two distinct groups of nine holes – the front nine is routed through woodland whilst the inward half is set amid rolling hills with water coming into play at many of these holes. There are four sets of tees at every hole and the total yardage stretches to 7,003 yards from the championship markers.
The individual medalist at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational will earn an exemption into the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open at Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton, Alberta, while the top-five finishers secure spots in the 2026 Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship at The Toronto Golf Club in Mississauga, Ontario.
Last time out, the Lady Vols fired a 16-under 54-hole total to secure a runner-up finish at the Cougar Classic.
