Dunning Invitational Live Scoring
LAST TIME OUT
The Patriots finished 7th in their opening tournament of the 2025-26 season at the Pilgrim’s Run Invite in Pierson, Michigan. Preston DeSerrano played his way to a 20th place finish on the individual leaderboard while individual Blake Harwell placed 30th.
THE 2024 DUNNING INVITATIONAL
Last season the Patriots began their season with the Dunning Invitational and battled their way to a second place finish. They were led by former players Seth Campbell, Jay Shero, and Jackson Naeger, who finished 5th, 8th, and 11th on the leaderboard for the week.
EARLY RECOGNITION
UT Tyler begins the year in the Receiving Votes category of the Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll. They are joined by LSC foes #7 Oklahoma Christian, #13 St. Mary’s, #22 Midwestern State, (RV) West Texas A&M and (RV) DBU.
THE DUNNING INVITATIONAL
This year’s Dunning Invitational will take place at Old Waverly Golf Club as Mossy Oak Golf Club is undergoing renovations. Old Waverly has played host to the 1999 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2006 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur, and the 2019 U.S. Women’s Amateur since being founded in 1988.
14 teams will line up in action this week, with all 14 being Division II competitors. Delta State will play the role of host this week. The tournament will be 54 holes, with 36 coming on Monday beginning with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. UT Tyler will be represented in the lineup by Corbin Murray, Luke Emerson, Preston Chabaud, Preston DeSerrano, and Ty Krismer, and George Trappey will compete as an individual.
