Brooks Koepka will begin his third round just five shots behind leader Marcus Armitage at the FedEx Open de France near Paris.
Koepka is hoping to end a dreadful 2025 on a high note with a run of appearances on the DP World Tour, and he played well at at Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche to end a run of missed cuts.
The five-time major champion, who failed to make the weekend at the Amgen Irish Open and last week’s BMW PGA Championship, fired rounds of 69 and 68 to sit just inside the top 10 on 5-under par.
Armitage, affectionately known as “The Bullet”, added a 68 to his opening 64 to earn a two-shot lead over the field at the halfway stage.

Armitage will play alongside Min Woo Lee and Jeff Winther in Saturday’s final group, with Koepka heading out at 10:47 (BST) with compatriot Michael Kim and Denmark’s Niklas Norgaard.
Defending champion Dan Bradbury made the cut with nothing to spare on level par, and he will be in the second group of the day along with Callum Tarren and Romain Langasque.
