BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Police Department invites the community to come out and support its Special Weapons and Tactics team with two fundraising events scheduled for Saturday, October 4.

The day begins with a golf tournament at Crane Creek Golf Course, located at 475 West New Haven Avenue in Melbourne.
Registration opens at 7 a.m., and teams of four are encouraged to join for a morning on the greens. At $80 per player, the tournament not only promises friendly competition but also directly supports the department’s elite tactical unit.
Later in the afternoon, the celebration continues with a community fundraiser at The American Legion at 189 Veterans Drive in Palm Bay.
Starting at 2 p.m., the event offers live music, a hearty meal, and a chance to enjoy time with neighbors and law enforcement in a relaxed and festive setting. Admission is just $10 and includes a meal, making it a fun and affordable way to give back to the officers who help keep Palm Bay safe.
This dual-event fundraiser is not only an opportunity to support the SWAT team but also a chance for the community to come together in solidarity, camaraderie, and appreciation for the men and women who serve.
