Luke Donald’s Team Europe are defending champions as they look to become the first away team to win a Ryder Cup since last performing the feat themselves at the Miracle at Medinah in 2012.
Donald’s Europeans won convincingly by five points two years ago at Marco Simone in Rome.
But Keegan Bradley’s Team USA are at home this time around and they start the week as narrow favourites at odds of 8/11, with Europe at 6/4.
Many analysts including ourselves here at GolfMagic are predicting an extremely tight battle that could very well go all the way to the final match on Sunday.

There are a total of 28 points available at the Ryder Cup.
Europe need just 14 points to retain, while USA need 14.5 in order to etch their name on the cup.
There are four practice days from Monday to Thursday for the 24 players taking part in the 2025 Ryder Cup.
Here’s a look at the team outfits for all three tournament days of the 2025 Ryder Cup:

All players and captains will speak to the media across the first four days.
There will also be an opening ceremony on Thursday at approximately 4pm local time.
The 2025 Ryder Cup will then officially get underway bright and early on Friday.
Four foursomes matches will take place at 7.10am on Friday, followed by four fourballs matches starting at 12.25pm.
The same scenario applies for day two on Saturday.

Then 12 singles matches take place on Sunday, with the first match teeing off at 12.02pm.
