Greenville, S.C. – The Augusta women’s golf team is at the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, South Carolina and are in 16th place after the first of three rounds. Alabama has the lead on the team front, followed by High Point and Florida Gulf Coast.

LIVE SCORING
For the Jaguars, Puntita Pawichai had the best round on the day with a 1-over-par 73 at the Furman University Golf Club. Pawichai started the round with two birdies in her first five holes and had three on the day. She did have four bogeys for her final score.
Marine Legentil shot a 4-over-par 76 on Friday. Legntil started her round with a couple of bogeys but did make one birdie to help off set her round.
The third team score was turned in by Sofia Valera with a 5-over-par 77.
Sara Adams had the other counting score for the team with a 78. Like Valera, Adams had a single birdie on the scorecard.
Danielle Higbee had the non-counting score with an 80 in round one.
Playing as an individual, Jessica Pilgrim also posted an 80.
Round two will be a shotgun start at 10 a.m. with the final round starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
