Hey y’all. Beard Bros Golf Show. I’m Rod. I’m Marcus. That mean looking man over there is Marcus. Um, are y’all not entertained by Scotty? I mean, the man is inevitable at this point. Uh, it’s it’s getting kind of ridiculous how good he is. Um, you know, pretty stacked event with all the RDER Cup guys playing with the exception of Bryson Dambo and Xander Schoffé. Had the full crew in there. So, it wasn’t a Mickey Mouse field by any means, but we saw Scotty do what Scotty does. Have a really low round of 64 on Saturday and a solid 67 on Sunday to win over Ben Griffin who uh had a chance on 18th. and wasn’t able to convert, but I think there’s those Scotty echoes coming up behind you. So, what did you think about Scotty’s performance this week, the Pro Core, and uh we had a couple other pretty decent finishes and notables uh from our other RDER Cup guys. So, what are your thoughts? Um, all in all, it was a good week. I mean, even if it even if nobody from the Rder Cup team won, I still think it was a good idea for everybody to get in and get some reps. I mean, after the whole debacle in Italy where nobody had played for five weeks. So, um, either way it goes, I think it was a good idea. But, um, yeah, I think it was a good product. I think it showed that, um, these guys are trending the right way. So hopefully, you know, they do what’s necessary to take care of business at the Kria, but you never know. You never know. I don’t know. I I almost put in the show notes that I was really confident in the US and then um I read I l have an article linked in the description just talking about what the Euros are doing and we’ll get into that. So I am confident about playing on home soil. That is for sure. Uh I feel like guys are trending in the right direction. I feel like um having Scotty’s leadership, I feel like he’s become a leader. I I don’t know, you know, just the base level of respect that he’s probably getting from the other guys. Um I I was thinking in my head like, hey, this win over Ben Griffin is like a uh a bit of a show of dominance. Like, hey, I’m the man. I’m still the man. Don’t get it messed up just because I didn’t win the tour championship. I am still the man. So, yeah, I don’t know, man. I think I think it was a really good showing and um you know, couple weeks left, less than two weeks until till we get to it. It’s going to run up on us pretty damn quick. So, yeah. I mean, Ryder Cup’s coming. It’s I’m starting to get excited. I mean, it’s been so far out from the Tour Championship and we’ve kind of had a little bit of a dip in the PGA Tour schedule since then. This is the uh, you know, lone event in in quite some time. So, um, I’m ready. Anything else you want to add in about uh, Procore before we slide on over to another topic or No, actually, I’m going to go through That’s my fault. I’m going to go through finishes, but I’m keeping it open for you. Any other thoughts from you? I just want to say I’ve been excited about the RDER Cup since the end of the FedEx Cup, the FedEx final. So, I’m always looking forward to match play as we always discuss is from Sorry, my I’m getting cut. I’m cutting you off. My bad. You good? Sorry, Wi-Fi is bugging. Um, let’s see. Well, while he gets that straightened out, if he’s not already back. Can you hear me? I can hear you. Can you hear me? Yeah. Okay, cool. Um, all right. Let’s transition into kind of how people finished. Um, see if you have any additional thoughts. So, Sam Burns, I’ll kind of work from bottom up or just top down, I should say. Of course, you know, Ben Griffin ended up in that second position. JJ Spawn uh took sixth place. Had a pretty good pretty good week. He was top 10 all pretty much the entire tournament. Cam Young coming in with a uh T9. Then we had Sam Burns at T13. Patrick, no, sorry, Russell Henley had T19. Then we had uh let’s see here. Patrick Kentlay T30, which I was surprised that he played. A little bit surprised. Uh then we had Colin Morawa at T43. JT or sorry and Harris English also T43. JT probably the weakest performer of those that played at uh 69th place. And we of course we had a DMP with Bryson Dashambo and also with Xander Schoff. That one I was not surprised. Xander had a pretty energy not energy injuryfilled year. So, I wasn’t surprised that he rested. And also, just because it’s going to be notable on the European side, Keegan Bradley could have also played. He did not play in the tournament this week either. Yeah. Any thoughts from the from how people finish? Uh, more I mean, I guess I’m just kind of surprised that um let’s see. More surprised at JT because he didn’t have the putter rolling. The surfaces look pretty pure. It’s not like he didn’t really have any excuses for that. Um, let’s see. Am I shocked by Colin Morocawa? No. Am I kind of surprised at Harris English? Yes. Um, let’s see. Patrick Handley. I mean, I knew he was gonna play. I I didn’t ever doubt he was going to play. He kind of standoffish, but you know when he he’s about his paper, so it was a free free check and true team building or whatever you want to call it or whatever. Um Russ fell off uh Saturday he got left behind. He shot over par round when everybody was kind of charging. Kind of surprising. Yeah, I had him I kind of made a Saturday note that him and JJ Spawn were up there competing and at the time Sheffller going into Saturday was T14. So yeah, there there was there was uh ground to be made up on Saturday. Yeah. And then yeah, JJ spawn even even par on Saturday, so got left as well. Uh definitely one of those events where you know it it was 19 but you know it’s been years where I feel like Sah Tagala came out and won it one year and he was in the 20s. You really got to go out there and you know score. It’s a shorter course but it’s also a tighter course. Like it’s a it’s a true woodland American course. Like you have to you know be pretty accurate off the tea. the lies are kind of sparse. You know, once you get into that second cut in that rough, it’s not always consistent. So, uh yeah, I think um it was a good test because Black P Beth Paige Black is definitely going to be very very penal if you’re not hitting fairways. So, I think that gave us a good test. Um I don’t necessarily think Wentworth was the right test for the European team, of course. um you know their plan. So that’s great. Congrats to them. But like as far as it being a similar course to Beth Page, no it wasn’t. So who knows what type of form they’ll be in or what they’ll be looking at, but I think they’re coming in early to uh play Beth Paige this week, the week prior. So they’ll probably get some type of leg up, but not I mean the Americans are going to be there too, so it’ll be either. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There’s no advantages to be gained. Everybody’s going to get their their practice around Zen. I will say that um again, article link down below. The Euros have been um doing some simulator uh practice with the rockus crowds using some VR stuff, some virtual reality stuff to simulate right? While they were touting it, I think even uh Rory put some discounts on that. Like, you know, there’s still nothing you can do to simulate real crowd noise. But I guess if it’s just getting used to sound happening pretty much like all the time. Maybe there’s some merit to it, but simulated trash talk is kind of lame for sure. You’re not convinced by this method. your adrenaline isn’t going to even be ramped up. You’re in a simulator. You’re not you’re going to be like, “Oh, I need to hit this shot at this, you know, at this time and I’m just striking a solid.” You’re nobody’s going to be sneezing in your back in your background of your back swing while points matter. You doing Listen, whatever you got to do to get get your chemistry right, I’m not going to be a hater on that. But do I think this is corny? Absolutely, bro. Like this is so I know. You know, I guess it it the reason I even thought of or not thought about it, but put it in the notes is just because I think we watched the European team uh last year or the couple years ago at Marco Simone that it just seemed like Luke Donald brings something extra from a captain standpoint that I don’t think we’ve seen in a while. You know, we clearly were outclassed. That was I mean it I don’t know why it feels so long ago but the debacle with Zack Johnson as US captain feels like forever ago even though we beat the hell out of that uh horse talking about it after the fact because it was so very bad. Um and his reaction to it was bad as well. But I don’t think I don’t think we’re going to be as outclassed this year um with Keegan Bradley. I’m actually pretty confident with him in the captain role for the US. Just a serious, you know, there’s just an intensity to him that I think actually kind of matches up with Luke Donald. What do you think about that aspect of it from a captain standpoint? Um, yeah. I mean, Keegan Bradley’s still on the tour. They still he’s still very enjoyable to them guys. So, you know, they’re going to fight for him. They’re going to fight a lot harder for him than they ever did for Zack Johnson. And I mean, let me just say this, the the the fact that the whole win probability changed from the Americans having a stack team to the European at that time. It was a whole hum group. It really seemed not to put together. We, you know, Bob McIntyre was still very doubted. Steph Straco was still doubted. None of those guys had really proven much of anything besides maybe like a oneoff, like a couple of top fives and, you know, just accumulating points to make it to the team. John Rom, you know, very solidified. Um, Rory very solidified. Fitzpatrick, you know, he coming off of 2022 the US Open. um Nikolai Hoygard, he had been winning that season plus the Irish Open or whatever that earlier that year. I mean I mean the month before. So, I think the fact that we ended up being underdogs and essentially losing the session just based off the team picks that he picked showed me everything I needed to know about Zack Johnson and everything that he was trying to accomplish or how unsuccessful he was going to be uh during his captaincy. I like it. That [ __ ] still pisses me off to this day because it’s like what were you thinking, bro? Like it’s all in front of you. You don’t have to put these guys in pods anymore like Paul Azinger did. All these guys is homies. But if they tell you who they want to play with, at least the first session appease these wishes, bro. There’s no reason we should have went 5 and got skunked. It was it was never we were never coming back from that. You know, call it call it revisionist history, but every time I now see a clip of Zack Johnson, not that I ever was a fan of Zack Johnson. I just something always felt wrong. It’s just really apparent that he should have never had that role. I’m watching his interactions with like a Tiger and just other players, which there’s a ton of footage on Zack Johnson from over the years, and you can just tell like something is just not a leader of men, right? Fine. I’m sure he’s not as offensive as I think he is, but just not a leader of men. That’s a totally different scenario when you need people to listen to you, follow you, be inspired by you, and have it. he just doesn’t. And all these these clips I see, you know, from the PGA Tour, um you know, that they’ll rerun or something, I’m like, he shouldn’t have ever had that role. That should have never been a thing. Um I I wish Tiger would just take the damn role at some point. Um I feel like he is finally, you know, keeps he keeps taking these kind of roles with the uh PJ tour board and kind of advisory role. Like, bro, you’re the elder statesman at this point. These people grew up idolizing you. Take the full captain role and embrace it, enjoy it, love it. Um, yeah. So, yeah, I I just I wish we would see him in that position in the coming, you know, ride or cook if depending on how Keegan does. So, yeah. Let me just end it in that in this part with just by saying you look at all the captains on both sides of the on both sides of the barrier and you look at it at in some form or fashion the players that are on the team somewhat look up to that player to that captain. Am I lying? I’m not looking up to Zack Johnson. I look up to Luke Donald. Luke Donald hasn’t won anything m he is still not a major winner but the fact that he was one of the most dominant putters in the game at one point was running back and forth on European tour PGA tour number one player in the world solidified absolutely was a number one player at one point for a reason um Steve Stricker easily one of our elders that the dudes was looking up to in the President’s Cup I know that’s not Ryder Cup, but just think about all the captain sees. Even you look at a lesser guy like a Mark Imman or a Trevor Emma, my apologies, a Trevor Imman, even them, even those guys, the all the Canadians looked up to him to this South African guy. The Australians were fighting for him and stuff like that. They got super, they got super behind him, behind his message and everything. I’m not seeing that with Zack Johnson. Davis Love III, prime example. I am fighting my butt off for Davis Love III. You know what I’m saying? Just stuff like that. So again, it was never in the cards for Zack Johnson. And I hope he doesn’t get another chance. [Laughter] I don’t even think he should be a vice captain going forward. It went so badly, right? I’d be side eyeing them the whole time. I’d be like, who who invited him? Right. I mean, and then and then it’s memorialized forever on Netflix, so there’s no literally no running from it behind the scenes and everything, right? More more deeply um accessible than we’ve ever had. I think the the full swing is the worst thing for for that has happened for these bad stories in golf. Yeah, because it’s it’s all going to be in 4K. There’s no forgetting it. All his all his vice captaincies and everything from now, it’s going to be a bunch of whose mans is this. It’s not even going to be like a uh you know, you tried GG’s. It’s nothing. There’s not going to be any pleasantries about it. My goodness, bro. I’m just getting angry thinking about it, man. It’s just so annoying. I can’t believe he blew that whole rider cut, bro. 2023 is such a wash, man. Oh my god, bro. Anyways, moving on, Rod. Um, let’s get into DP World Tour. pretty much all their guys, including Captain Luke Donald, um participated in the BMW championship. Uh Luke ended up getting cut. Um didn’t did not play well. Couple of rounds in the mid70s, but outside of Step Straka, they had the whole crew there. Um yeah, and had some pretty respectable finishes. So Matt Fitzpatrick, Terrell Haden, Victor Havlin, all T5. Um, Rasmus Hoygard did get cut. He was the only one uh that just completely [ __ ] the bed. Justin Rose started out okay. Uh, saw him post that he had a really good um start to the to the week, but um, Levik Abear T20, Tommy Fleetwood 46, Terrell Haden, oh, sorry, I already mentioned him. Uh Shane Lowry 46, Bob McIntyre 74th, Rory T20, John Rom 13, and Justin Rose. I already mentioned him. So, but but full participation. Let me uh let these Oh, y’all got it. So, I was about to have to let the ladies in. But yeah, full participation. Pretty decent, you know, finishes just to warm up. I was actually kind of surprised that Rory teed it up after winning the Irish Open, but um you know, team building. He’s a team player. He is. He really is a team guy. Cuz yeah, I’d be exhausted. You win at the crib in a playoff at Let me just reemphasize that. you win in a playoff at the crib, the there really wouldn’t be an amount to the like I don’t know how to explain the level of celebration that would happen and for him to lock back in and play the next week after winning his home open in that fashion. Like, bro, the the roar Rory brought out the roars. That crowd was was hyped for him. I mean, yeah, if he would have played and just, you know, kind of not saying purposely missed the cut, but like if I didn’t take it that seriously, you know, but again, trying to work on some good momentum and stuff like that, you know, being with the homies, he probably got right back up, you know, he probably had some adrenaline and um I don’t know, you think about it, you just think about the You you think about a Tiger, you think about a Jack, you think about how consistently they won. They was always up. So, I guess he’s kind of trying to get in that realm of I got to keep going. Next week is next week has got to be another good week. Yeah. And when you think about it in the grand scheme of things, to be real, I mean, you’re just looking at it like it’s a sprint for a few weeks. turn up the intensity, you know, from the Irish Open to the BMW Championship, rest one week, and then you’re in it, right? Yeah. You’re traveling and you’re getting settled in in New York and and all that stuff, but you know, it’s it’s a sprint for a month where you’re just it’s really intense. Um, and they’re probably feeling better about the team. I mean, hell, the fact that John Rom able to get pull out a 13th, you know, okay, like cool, our top guys are playing decently, right? John John probably ate has been eating good, you know, for the last month just to get himself in shape. I feel like John Romy is like a boxer to me, right? Homeboy cuts weight at the beginning of the season, always comes in in decent looking shape, and then midway through the year, I’m like, “Oh, John’s John’s losing it.” that he’s been been vacationing and partying, especially now that he’s on live. But yeah, John John’s probably gonna look real good come Ryder Cup, slim and trim as as he can be. He’s still a thick boy, but um I think they they actually have a better chance to me in my brain at least than they did a couple weeks ago, right? Uh, we were looking at the automatic picks and then you know the the ones that you think Europe has a better chance now? I think they have a better chance than we were initially anticipating. You know, I mean, I guess you I mean, I guess you could say that. I mean, I I I don’t know. I really thought it was the front six versus the front six and then both picks were trying to both teams pick or captain’s picks were trying to implement some type of momentum going forward. So I I really wasn’t that impressed or you know that I guess you could say I don’t know. I didn’t really feel like the levity of of the captain’s picks. We all knew who Luke McDonald was gonna pick. I feel like the US picks were kind of more in turmoil, but all in all, like I said, I feel like both sides top six was was what we were looking for and what we were going to count on and then going from there. But um just a a quick tangent since we’re talking about the European tour. These guys, bro, this schedule just if you just pull up their schedule, it is so wonky. Like, okay, so this week they’re in France. Okay, I get it. Open to France. Next week is the Ryder Cup, right? One of their flagship events. It’s only $5 million purse, but one of their flagship events, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championships. Most of your RDER Cup team plays that event because it’s so fun and it’s a proam. Why would you have it that close to the to the RDER Cup? So, say for instance, they lose, they’re going to be sad. They’re going to be pissed. I’m not gonna want to play and be with my dad Jerry or with my BFF with Cheryl. I’m not gonna want to do that. And then if I win, I’m gonna be too messed up to play. You I’m gonna like I’mma get three free days. I’m gonna play all three courses. And then what? I’m not competing for the win. I just barely made the cut and I’m fighting for what? 40 50k. the the you the European guys I think love golf just love golf more than the US guys right we we have struggled with the Xanders and the Patrick Canlays of the world in terms of just getting them hyped for these type of events it’s like they damn they don’t love the game it feels like right that they do it because it’s lucrative it pays well but in terms of just playing I feel like T plays golf cuz he loves playing golf. He loves the challenge. He loves to like be mad at himself. Um, you know, I feel like Rory sometimes has has his moments where he’s just like he he’s in love with the game. Yes, he needs breaks. I feel like Shane Lowry is another guy just loves the game of golf. Would play every damn day if he, you know, like he’s that type of guy that he’d play whether he’s getting paid or not. So, I don’t know. I just think the passion for the Euras are completely different. So they’ll they’ll show up and have as much fun as they would I think win lose or you know draw whatever. So I think the only one I think the only one that’s I think the only one that’s not for the love of the game is Patrick Canle. I He been a prissy boy since he got since he got to the PGA. He went he played at UCLA. he played, you know, he was like one of the number one amateurs. So, everything’s been given to him or everything’s not really been earned as far as what I’ve seen. Xander, I feel like Xander still got the love of the game. I feel like he’s hungry. I feel like he’s coming off of a few, you know, tiny little minor injuries that kept him away from being as good as he could be. But I mean, you saw him in the you saw him in the championship or um in the tour final. He was very honest with his game. He said, “I just don’t have it right now.” But, you know, or I’m sorry, the the the the one that was in Maryland. He He only got to the top 50. He needed to have a really good week. So, but he was like, you know, I’m not gonna touch the clubs next week. I’mma watch I’m probably not even gonna watch golf and then I’mma get back to it and I’mma get in and I’mma get in the right shape for the Ryder Cup. I think Patrick Hanley is the only one that slide. I think everybody else is definitely hungry for it. Especially now all the guys, you know, they’re switching. Everybody’s going to be in their 20s again. Besides JT Harris English is, you know, he mid30s, but everybody else in their 20s. I think they still got the hunger. Don’t let Patrick Kentlay influence everything you got going on just because he’ll like if if if there was a even though the US doesn’t necessarily have like outside of the majors and and a few handful of courses they don’t have we just don’t we just don’t have an event like the Dunhill links right that it’s just fun Pebble Beach Problem Beach not the same it’s not the same it’s not the same it’s the fun event. It’s just early in the season. Just true. But it doesn’t I mean, mind you, before it became an elevated event, they were struggling to get people to actually show up to that thing. Uh you you were we were just a couple of years away from the uh Monday finish where Justin Rose won it with like two people watch it on TV where it was like this nobody’s watching this anymore. But it’s become an elevated event and I think it’s it’s regained a little bit of the stature because you have the big names that that are showing up again. But it wasn’t like that a couple of years ago. It was a dying event. They had to save that thing. But we’ll see. I will see. Man, I I feel like there’s so much golf left. um you know, especially on the ladies side, DP World Tour side, like you said, sometimes their schedule doesn’t make sense, but for the DP World Tour, when you’re playing that many weeks, sometimes there’s just going to be a little bit of wonkiness in there. So, not unexpected. Um, let’s move over to the ladies, bro. Um, no, no, no, no, I’m not. Scratch. I’m going rewind. I’m I’m Alex Norn won two two and three weeks. Two in three weeks. He’s very self-deprecating. He’s going to be a vice captain for the Euros on the RDER Cup. He just said he started playing better too late. You know, he’s he has no ill will. Clearly, there’s nothing can be can that can be done at this point. He just said he had a poor middle of the season with some, you know, scrappy scratchy finishes where he just hadn’t didn’t play well in the middle of the year. Um, so very self-deprecating. Um, despite being in good form, uh, this, you know, this particular, you know, month, winning two in three weeks, like you said, that’s that’s a pretty pretty nice accomplishment, especially with the BMW championship in there. Um, won it in a one-hole playoff against Sadier. I don’t think it was ever in question. Just I don’t know. Norin’s a scrappy guy. uh that reliable cut shot, the overexaggerated uh pre-shot routine. But yeah, that that cut is as reliable as the uh sun coming up every day. So, shout out to him. What What do you have on on Alex? Uh yeah, I mean, he was out half the season. I mean, the first part of the season, he had a big um a back injury or a neck injury or something like that. He couldn’t even swing the club. So, when you have a grinder like that that has like a significant injury, it’s going to take him a while for him to get it back into a rhythm, back into that flow state or whatever. But, I mean, he’s won this event before. He won it in such a crazy fashion. The last time he won it, I think it was 2022, he won it by shooting a 20 a 62 on on Sunday. So, I think he knows what he’s doing around this course. Not the longest off the tea. Doesn’t need to be long, but I think he absolutely missed the bandwagon as far as, you know, peing at the right time. Um, yeah, somebody on in my algorithm on the tick tock was like, “Did the European squad make a mistake by not having Alex Norn on the squad?” How we gonna make a mistake when he just started playing good three weeks ago, right? I mean, you get, you know, he missed a cut for the swi for the Switzerland event. He literally shot like a four or five over. So, what are we talking about? and in between the wins, I think he was like a T48 or something like that. So, it’s not like he’s been consistent. That’s pretty much what Alex Norin has been. Feast or famine. He’s either playing really well or this year he’s not been playing well. I mean, he’s been to the back half of of the fields. Um, had a couple years I looked up that uh last BMW championship that was uh 2017. Oh, damn. Yeah. And that was over uh Franchesco Molinori. Shout out to Frances Francesco. We hadn’t seen him in so long, bro. I I That man’s fall off. He’s on the PJ tour. I know. We don’t hear from him anymore. We just don’t hear from Franchesco as much as we we once did because he stinks. But he’s a vice captain. He’ll be around. Yes, he does. But I want I I loved his simple swing. I thought he had a swing that could last forever uh and have some pretty decent success. But yeah, that’s where um mediocre, not mediocre, but players go to, you know, captains after their their best days are over. So yeah, let’s get into the the LPGA. Super disappointed. So, we talked about this a couple weeks ago. It was exactly like two weeks ago. Um, we had a really long discussion about the LPGA and could it succeed without Nelly Corda winning in the same way that she won last year? They were they caught fire last year. The the tour was really on a a momentum swing. They are in between a commissioner change at this point. But Gino, we talked about her having quite a few T2 or solo 2 finishes this year, not being able to close out the deal. Super consistent. And this week, we see her come down to the 18th green, you know, with a lead ahead of Charlie Cole. four putts, two shot swing to lose the tournament. That’s just not what your stars do. And I can’t say it’s anything other than the nerves that would cause especially on that initial putt to blow it by that fast. Um and then of course you’re you miss the comebacker, but to miss the third one, um you had to be she had to have been seeing Red at that point. Um, so I don’t know, man. That’s just sad because I want to see her succeed. I mean, really consistent week in week out. Top tens are her thing, but to be that close this many times this year, you you have to start re-evaluating um where you’re coming from. This feels like a Tommy Fleetwood type of situation. I don’t think so. Uh, I think um the last hole was kind of yippish, but other than that, I mean, she’s definitely the number one player in the world for a reason. Um, the results are saying it. I mean, you don’t have to cash out every every time to get to and get a victory in that way. Good player. Yeah. I just Yeah. was the end. But but to be the to be the to be the star player cuz cuz Nellie’s not winning. So the door is wide open for her to step into it. She’s not going to be it. You don’t think J can be it? They’re not going to model her as the star of that tour. That’s not who they want to be the star of that tour. They want her to be a contributor. She speaks very good English. Would be just fine. uh representing the league. I don’t I don’t get that one. If that is the case over Charlie Hull or over like a Lahi W or over a Nelly Corda there definitely No, but but we know Okay, Charlie can step into that role, right? I think she’s got a a lure about her, right? I mean, the conversation about her smoking darts out on the course was pretty much like a news story for all of about month and a half, two months that there’s certain, you know, she’s, you know, an attractive young lady. There’s certain things about Charlie that, yeah, if she was able to win at a consistent clip, yes. Nelly, same thing. Uh, I feel like Charlie’s a lot closer now than Nelly is. Nellie’s just not had a really um in terms of winning, it’s just hard to have the year that she had last year to have no wins this year. Despite the stats showing that she’s playing better, um winning is still winning, right? It it it matters. And so, yeah, I think those two ladies definitely, if it’s the LPGA, would take that lead there. But Gino is not a bad alternative if she wins. That’s just my thought on that aspect of it. Yeah. Anyway, so like um u the fact that she didn’t even make she didn’t even hit the hole on her third putt. She reached the green too on her evil putt and the birdie putt was terrible for her bogey. Yeah, she hit that [ __ ] like it was a 12footer up the hill or something and just like hit a hard lip out like that’s yips. Like that’s just bad. It’s right which is like I said disappointing because she’s such a good player and they were touting how good of a putter she had been up to that point. I think she’s like the number one putter on the LPGA. Yeah, she has she’s using an old ass Odyssey, one of those original Odyssey 7 joints. So, yeah, Low, we’ll see. I don’t know. I feel like Left Hand Low is jabby to me. I feel like that’s like you get the you get the pop or just in general? In general. In general. I mean, you I mean, you look at Nelly Corda. Nelly Corda isn’t always the best on the greens. She’s left hand low. Nelly Cord I mean not Nelly. I’m sorry. Charlie Ho is left hand low as well. And she is for sure jabby. That’s why she puts with the flag still in. She’s looking to be aggressive and putt with pace. So she wants to hit the back of the pin and bump clank it and hit it straight down or stuff like that. I don’t know, bro. I feel like it’s taking I feel like again like we were talking about with putting. It takes the flow and the artistry out and it’s more of a technical thing. It’s easier to be technically sound when it’s left hand low. My shoulders are already square. My left hand is already square and neutral on the club. All I’m doing is straight back straight through and hoping to hit my line. So yeah, it to me I don’t I mean like again I’m not playing for millions of dollars so I get it. You’re trying to do what’s the best solution to get the ball in the hole. But at the same point when you start getting into some of these tricky greens and then the the emotions, the nerves happen, is it going to break down? Is it something that’s gonna stand up over the test of time when you need it most? Clearly, yeah, we’re seeing that it’s not always the case. It’s true. That’s true. Um, are they back at it again this week or they taking a break as well? I didn’t look at Unfortunately, they’re in Arkansas. It’s still Walmart. Isn’t this a Isn’t it the three-day event where they don’t necessarily I don’t like I don’t know. Is it 540’s? I mean, yeah. September 19th through the 21st. Yuck. Yeah. I I hate that the three-day and and maybe I’m I’ve never been a Stacy Lewis fan, but she always gets big uped and gets like the spotlight despite not being competitive on the uh the PJ the LPJ tour in quite some time, but they they always spotlight Stacy Lewis during this week. Why are you even showing up? There’s got to be some type of pointless at this stage. Yeah, there’s got to be some type of diary or something that they digging into to just give him some type of stipen to keep him on to keep him afloat because otherwise I don’t know what’s what sponsors is giving him bread. Yeah. Like no, they’re forcing that one. He he should not be out there anymore. It’s it’s pretty pretty apparent. But yeah, double down on your point about Go ahead. He not bringing no fanfare out there. Like if Steuart Stink and them if Steuart sink and them guys not bringing fanfare, John Dailyaly for sure not bringing no fanfare. Right. Right. Right. those those Champion Tour events are pretty sparsely attended. And if you showed up to an event to watch John Bailey shoot in the uh 70s, I mean, you’re you’re not really entertained by that. I mean, you can you can only be um what’s the word? You can you can only watch a man drink and smoke during a full round so many times before it loses its novelty at this point. Is he even friendly to the fans? You’re you’re good. I Is he even friendly to the fans that do show up to see him or is he so miserable from playing bad golf that he just drive off on the cart?
