I was just glad that um I got one over the line. You’re in such a bubble obviously when you’re playing. That’s very good. Me and Matt uh we get along great. Uh he’s a great guy. we uh it’s very easy to be around him and um we can we can chat about all all sorts of things that are not even golf related. So that’s that’s always nice. And um today was was one of them days we we both played played pretty well and um hopefully we can do that in New York in a couple weeks time. The ball went right off the tea siren goes we then speak to the referee and what do we do? Can we look for it now? Can we not look for it? Obviously people are walking in from the court. So I got a call 5 minutes later. Someone from the public saw two lads running into the bushes running out of the golf ball. Member of the public stayed there and told us where he thought roughly was I I know I know what it felt like. You sure? Just asking everything. I’m not trying to change it just like right. [Music] Well, it’s a disappointing finish to what’s otherwise been an excellent day for Yokam Laragan to limit the damage to just one drop shot, which it does. Every part of my game feels quite strong at the moment. Coming into this week, I feel like the game is pretty much where I want it. So, yeah, it’s nice. Great playing last week, great playing again today. Well done. So you can absolutely act as an RF camera. I know it’s not ideal, but today with my team as well. Oh yeah, the dream. We are the This is the Rolex series. Welcome indeed to historic Wentworth, one of the most storied venues on the DPU World Tour for the flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship. It is uh the third Rolex Series event of 2025. Lots and lots at stake. Off they stride on this bright and breezy day. Good approach from Ober for an opening birdie three. It’s okay. One and three. Take fours there all day long. Beautifully played. Very tight flag there. Three on and three to the right. Chasm of a bunker guarding it. Soft greens makes it a little easier. They had a shock and Todd on one. Let’s hopefully he can get a little bit closer to the sides here on two. Yes, he can. Thank goodness. He has these spells when he doesn’t seem to pack well. And then you you look at the center, he’s 35 under for four rounds. You can only do that by knocking a few in. What a swing on this one for Victor Hovland. Oh, back to back Eagles at 18. And what a way to make your way to the top of the leaderboard. I can’t remember the last time I’ve uh chipped it and putted it as nicely as I have the first two days. Um so that goes a long ways. Iron play was not so good yesterday. kind of started ramping up towards the end of the round and today was a little bit better. So, um uh we’re we’re getting there. I I still got to just drive it a little bit better so I can get myself uh uh more iron shots from the fairway. Um but uh really happy with the way I’m I’m scoring. Where is Mo? Thanks, guys. Well, Tommy, thanks for the ball. You know what Tomy’s called? Oh, hello. Great early chance coming up to seize the sole lead for this man. We have a new leader over just a 280 off the hanging line. This has to turn from right to left. It’s only can get there. Pretty darn good efforts. Masyama coming out of his left feet down. Beautifully done. Tied at the top of the leaderboard now with that eagle at the 17th. put in well today. There’s a little tricky one though careless three shots at the top. Simplest the bird is for Rose. a quality round of golf. Some good scrambling when he’s got out of position. Also some very neat and tidy arm shots today. That’s a really good shot. Couldn’t really control it from there. That’s surprising. I mean, he’s uh one of the top two or three on the PJ tour from in and around the greens. Difficult one to just blend the line and the pace across this slope. 54 hole lead two years ago 2023 76 in the final round. It was all new to them. A lot of water under the bridge since a lot of experience gained. And it is going to be a slender one. Hoplin Rose and Albert all at 11 under. Second round 64. Matches the best of the week. That’s 64 taking the Japanese start to the top of the leaderboard. It’s definitely not easy. I would never say it’s easy. Um, today it’s really uh it’s just one of them days where it it seems like if you keep the ball in front of you, if you’re being efficient on the greens, you can get away with a decent score. And we we played with the deck, who shot eight under, which um I didn’t realize at the time, but um I saw it coming down the last couple holes. That’s pretty impressive score. So um it is doable, but it’s also um there’s danger lurking everywhere. I would love to, you know, achieve something big right here. Um, but obviously the condition is going to be changing for the weekend. So hopefully I can uh adjust to that and looking forward to the weekend. Of course he’s coming in. Of course he’s coming in. Drifting right at the end, which I didn’t see. He’s got it. The perfect way to start. Seen this misread a couple of times. Not by Hideki. disappointing ninth, but it is a a round of 70 for Mroy. He finished Birdie Eagle yesterday. This is for Groundhog Day cuz he’s just birded the 17th. Very easy birdie for the Frenchman. Just the one drop shot that came at the third hole today. Plenty of birdies on the card. There is a lot of work to play and it will be just another day at the office. Just focus on myself on my game. Uh just try to a lot of fairway and a lot of green and we’ll see if the PS drops tomorrow. Very businesslike when he lines his putts up. What a finish from Alex Noran. He has gone birdie birdie eagle to close out for a round of 66. And Norin will go into the final day alongside Sadier at 15 under. [Music] [Applause] play better uh you know coming in and then and then hold a long one on 16 and um you know when you get a little bit of fortune like that um it kind of makes 17 18 easier. This is straight up the hill firm. If anything it might go left but very little. That’s some day from Hideki going from leading the tournament to out of it with a round to go. It hasn’t been pretty today but being an escape artist. This is huge. If he’s got a chance over tomorrow to be it’ll be a birthday. I’ve been coming to Wentworth now for about 10 years. Um, and I’ve been doing the crane on 18 for the last two years. So Mark looks after me while I’m up the crane. So we have to make sure we’ve got the harness on. Um, depending on the height, this particular job is not the highest we go to. It’s a pretty iconic finish to our marquee tournament. Get plunk face safety first. All right then, Mark. Yes, please. Come Saturday, uh, Sunday, finishing, the nerves do start to kick in a little bit cuz you don’t want to miss that important follow on 18, the follow away towards the grand stand is nice when it when it all comes together and you’ve got the hit and the follow and the landing and it’s all finished nicely. Sounded sweet. Right into the heart of the green. Pretty firm on that line. No dribblers. So, it’s a birdie at 18 for Victor Hoffland. A little bit of consolation and he finishes under half of the day and he will go into Sunday here at Wentworth. Three shots behind Sadier and Norin. [Applause] [Music] Been battling my golf swing all year and it kind of had to pay the price there um at the end of the front nine and particularly the back nine there. Uh 12th hole making a double bogey there really stinks. That’s that’s kind of giving up three shots right there. So uh that’s uh that’s a little disappointing. Pizza. We’ll go to Hatton and see if he can open his account with a birdie at the first. I misread it because he started that well left. Six feet of not a lot of fun on the first screen. world watching. Now, we’re going to have to shape something for the second shot. It’s a bullish one, but with this flag position, you want to hit it hard to get the thing to come down as soft as you can with as much height. Just not enough. So, this thing will have a little bit of zip on it on its second bounce. Well, that boost to me. He’s not feeling pressure at the moment. Here’s Sadier in the bunker at 12. It’s fiddly. It can shoot out of wet sand. He’s hitting up this bike, but he’s played a perfect shot. All round good game this guy. Lauren should make his birdie as well. [Applause] How does it go right? Good opportunity. Need to give this a a bit of a wallop slightly out of his left. He’s walked it right into the hole and maybe a significant move from Alex. John Rams had most things going his way. Can he finish with one more? Disappointing, but a really solid Sunday round of golf. Taps that in 66. Yeah, another one of his bags and board that flight this evening for Beth Paige. Yeah, just 124 yds. I really like flattening this shot out. He’s lethal from this range. Not his best. At least he’s putting up the hill. This doesn’t want to break a whole heap. Get in. And he’s got it. What a putt. What a time to hold it. Norin now leads by one. 19 under par. He’s been a different man today really. That bud in 10 said I’m going. had my doubts through the front nine when they were all nine paths, but he’s loving this challenge. Managed to dig deep and managed to go after it on this second line, which was exactly what he had to do. The last shot of regulation play as supplied by Alex N going for his third win in 21 days. 72 holes not enough to decide who’s going to be the champion here. Not so bad. He’s always been a bold pilot. The wind has just lulled a little momentarily. Two wonderful layups from two players in the playoff. If you’d given them 25 balls each and say you need to land it by that bunker, not in it, and stop it short of the water, they wouldn’t have been able to do it. You want to leave this under it. You don’t want to knock it by. The danger with a a line that isn’t quite as clear as the other. World class. Beautifully played. Just that slightly better lie. Could get a decent contact on the ball. Quality. And you don’t want to bang it five feet past. Difficult not to get the pan up fairly quickly. It’s exactly what happened there. Slime the door open for Norton. A lovely birdie fork at the first extra hole. Norton the champion. But Alex had to go the extra mile. He’s champion here at Wentworth for the second time. So good. Thank you. Yeah, I’m extremely extremely happy and and proud of kind of dug deep times and it’s it’s a long career and I I hope I got some good more years in me. According to Sky, another stat is that you’re the most prolific winner on the DP World Tour after Rory since 2009. That’s another feather in your cap. Yeah, that sounds very good, too.
