[Music] What’s up everybody? Welcome back to my channel. In today’s video, we are going to talk about week three. We are going to go through the players that I would recommend picking up on waiverss, dropping, holding, buying low, and selling high at each position. We’re going to talk quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, and then some defense and kicker as well. As always, if you’re interested in more content like this, first subscribe to my channel. Second, drop a comment. I reply to all my commenters. So, please take advantage of that and subscribe to the channel if you’re interested in fantasy football, as well as other content that you could check out in the description below. All right, so we will get into our week three preview. I’m going to be talking the best players to pick up on waiverss, drops, holds, buy low, and sell high at every position. And we will start with the quarterback. The quarterback was probably the most injured position in week two. And there were some very unfortunate injuries that I will talk about the long-term consequences of, but first, I want to give you my number one pickup on the waiver wire, and it is Daniel Jones. Believe it or not, Daniel Jones is currently ranked as a top five quarterback on the season. I believe his season rank currently is number two in ESPN leagues, which is crazy. I don’t know if it’s sustainable at this rate, but I am very encouraged by what I saw against the Denver Broncos defense from Daniel Jones. He’s finally seemingly with this new system with Shane Stiken, he’s seemingly finding a way to use most both both his mobility and limit his mistakes in a way that they just could not unlock with him in in New York. So perhaps, you know, he’s a similar type of, you know, dual threat quarterback as Jaylen Herds, which we saw Stiken have success in in the past. Maybe it’s working this time. And one of the things I do like about Daniel Jones also in terms of his schedule is that considering he’s playing the AFC South, he is playing Tennessee twice, including uh once this next week in week three, and he also gets Jacksonville twice, which just allowed Jake Browning to have a game-winning comeback and uh be pretty relevant in fantasy himself. So, all that being said, the schedule is relatively more favorable for the Colts than a lot of these other teams where you have some tough defenses and some competitive games. Daniel Jones at his current rate should be serviceable rest of season and I like him as somebody that could be in the top 12 to top 15 range to close the season. So, especially if you’re in two quarterback leagues, he’s a must add. But if you are in a position where you had Joe Burrow, you’re looking for a a replacement, this is the best one in my opinion that you can get. Another one of interest to me is Joe Burrow’s handcuff, Jake Browning. He is my number two pickup. And this is more of a long-term play than a short-term play. Next week they get Minnesota, not a great matchup necessarily, but Jake Browning has been very successful in his short time as a fantasy uh relevant player in Cincinnati. And he despite his three interceptions, he was still pretty effective this past week. One of the things that I like about him is his rapport in that system. He’s been around Cincinnati for quite a while. He knows the offense and he can pretty much step in right away and get the receivers plenty involved. I’ll talk about the the um how this affects Chase in a little bit, but unfortunately, you know, Joe Burrow looks like he’s going to be out for quite a long time. And if you want to go for a guy that can replicate um at least some of what he does and and hopefully give you the points as well, it would be Jake Browning. Keep in mind Jake Browning when he did play a lot in 2023 when he was replacing Burrow. U remember Burrow had that wrist injury and then was pretty much out from uh November and December to close that season. He was still serviceable as well and he had several weeks in which he was a top 10 quarterback. Uh so Jake Browning I do think will be serviceable enough for you. He’s not quite somebody that I like with the upside of Daniel Jones potentially, but still if you’re looking for a Burough replacement, that’s one of the better options that you have. And you know, this is true for those replacing Joe Burrow. JJ McCarthy looks like he’s going to be out for a little bit um as well with a high ankle sprain, Brock Perie’s turf toe, and then Jaden Daniels. Hopefully he does not miss time, but he is currently questionable as well. These are two good replacements to look at. Who are some other ones? Russell Wilson, um you know, number two quarterback on the week. Um aside from that awful interception at the end of that game against the Cowboys, he was excellent. and he gets the Chiefs this week, which is not a great matchup necessarily that I would want to use Russell Wilson as somebody I’d want to play, but this is a good opportunity to use him as trade bait potentially. I’ll talk about that in a little bit. Some other good waiverwire pickups I like more so in deeper leagues, Sam Darnold for the Seattle Seahawks. He is pretty lightly rostered. He has not really had a great start to his season in terms of fantasy production, but he does get a pretty good matchup in week two against the or week three against the New Orleans Saints. Um, who just allowed M. Jones to score a 20 plus point game. So, that being said, I think Sam Darnold is a good pickup for this week. Shouldn’t cost you that much. Really shouldn’t be that much fab either and should give you a serviceable uh number there. And then I do want to mention M. Jones and Spencer Rattler for the uh deep leagues of the two quarterback leagues when they play if they could continue to put up points like this 21 and uh just about each. They could be serviceable too. I know it’s ugly, but you have to consider them as well in this picture. And then Carson Wentz, I want to mention him as the likely replacement as well for Minnesota. Um he gets Cincinnati this next week in week three, which should be a good matchup for him. Obviously, he’s got a lot of flaws in terms of him as a player, which has been evidenced throughout his career, but this should be a good matchup in which you should be able to stream Carson Wentz if you’re really desperate. Now, who can you drop more shown in the shallower leagues? I think you can look to drop Michael Penn. Pretty disappointing output. Although, I do think that he will have some games like this from time to time. he will have some good games like we saw in week one, but it was it’s a little disappointing in terms of his long-term projection to break out as a fantasy player. Um probably more so in the game manager mode still at this point in his career. And then Trevor Lawrence, he had a two pretty good matchups um with Cincinnati and Carolina. And things get a little harder this week against Houston. So he didn’t really take that huge leap that we were wanting. He wasn’t really even top 10 in either of those two matchups. So, I would be looking to move on from Trevor Lawrence if you’re using him as a streaming option. In the deep quarterback leagues, there’s not a lot of guys I would recommend dropping except for Joe Flacco. It’s looking like at this point, um, you may just be better off with the Browns, um, if you have Flacco and you’re relying him as a second quarterback to just use a, um, flex position over the like a wide receiver or a running back over Flaco at this point. Um, I don’t know how long he’s going to keep his job either. This is a situation to monitor moving forward and I probably would not want to have him on my fantasy team. Hold Burrow just in case he does come back in December. That’s a great trade ship that you can use um and even somebody that you could stash. Somebody may drop him. I would definitely try to pick him up and just hold him in your IR through the playoffs and see what happens. JJ McCarthy similarly, I would not try to move on from him at this point despite a poor performance on Sunday night. buy low candidates. So, I’m going to mention these two names because these are two players right now that you should try to buy um despite some poor or modest performances that haven’t really been what we’ve expected. Jaylen Herz and Jaden Daniels. Now, this is going to take quite a lot, but if you are going to try to get them, you should try to do that now. Jayen Daniels has not really broken out so far this season. Um he’s also got the knee injury going on. So people if if there’s any time in which people may be hesitant in their investment it it would probably be now. And then Jaylen Herz coming off an 11-point game against the Chiefs. He was not going to continue to put up performances like this either. I would recommend buying Jaylen Herz as soon as you can as well. Some other names is that you can mention as well. This is a little bit deeper. I would recommend trying to buy Baker Mayfield. Baker Mayfield has kind of been a little bit disappointing in terms of his overall output. Um not necessarily like the elite numbers, but he does give you serviceable um numbers for what we’ve seen so far. And I do think that will continue. He gets a nice match up this upcoming week against the Jets in which I think we’ll really see the yardage start to go up quite a bit. Then he gets Philadelphia the following week. A little bit tougher there. Um, but still I think that Jaylen Herz or excuse me, Baker Mayfield is going to be a good buy candidate and as he gets used to this new OC, um, he clearly has command to this offense and I think will be a great, um, candidate to buy. Another good buy candidate that I would recommend trying to pick up for you is Justin Fields. And I know this probably sounds crazy considering the type of performance that he just had, but I still would be looking to try to buy him if you can use a bench piece for him because he gives you an elite rushing upside that just simply no other quarterback can provide. Thousand yard rusher. um if he could, you know, generate that same explosiveness we saw in week one, I would want to bet on that being the the norm on Justin Fields because that that what we saw in week one is league winning stuff right there from a guy that has generally been drafted in the second half or undrafted in fantasy drafts. Sell candidates. This is a controversial one, but I would recommend selling Patrick Mahomes. Not because of the fact that he uh not as much for the reasons I’ve talked about before, but more so just the name value and what he has done so far this season. I think he actually could be serviceable this season and be a pretty good quarterback, but right now he’s performing in the top uh seven. He is the currently the quarterback four on the season. And I’m telling you, I don’t think that’s sustainable for him. Um, they’ve had some, you know, you can make the argument that they’re getting Rasheed Rice back, they’re getting Xavier Worthy back, and these numbers are going to get better, and he’s also running quite a bit more. But I would argue that because we’ve had a couple quarterback injuries already, you would be better off trying to use Mahomes to get one of these big names that I’m going to talk about later in the video. Aaron Rogers is a great cell candidate as well off his name. The time to have done that would have been week one. this past week was a little more disappointing, but I would still try to see what you get with him. Another name that you could try to sell is Caleb Williams. So, believe it or not, Caleb Williams is actually performing pretty well on the season despite um pretty bad publicity around Chicago in general. Caleb Williams right now is the quarterback eight and that’s another thing that I just don’t see being sustainable. He’s currently out playing Jaden Daniels. So I in terms of fantasy right now and I would recommend if you could make that trade, you definitely do. Um I think that in general with Caleb Williams, there is an argument that he can turn around because they have played some pretty tough defenses this past two weeks. But I would just try I think that’s a more hypothetical thought than what we will actually see. I do kind of see this um erratic uh quarterback play continuing throughout the season and I believe that it would be best to just capitalize on Kale Williams and a trade now. Kyler Murray is another good trade candidate off his name and for very similar reasons as Kale Blooms. He’s very erratic and I would recommend using his name value. And then Russell Wilson off a 30point game that I just I have a hard time seeing that happen again this season. So I would try to see what you can get with him too. All right, we will move to the running backs next. And first of all, check to see if Jakori Kroski Merritt is available in your leagues. With the Austin Eckler injury, he should be the number one running back in Washington. He may be out there potentially in very shallow leagues. I would definitely take a look and see if you can get him. Um, in terms of how the the Washington backfield will go though, I’m a little skeptical of him being an elite um, fantasy option because I do think more than likely what we’re going to see with Washington is they’re going to split their touches up pretty equally between the running backs there in uh, even even now without Eckler, with Chris Rodriguez and Jeremy McNichols. I think that there’s also a good chance Washington may trade for a running back. I’m keeping my eye on guys like Alvin Kamara for example as somebody they may target. Um so because of that I’m I’m I’m not super thrilled about Jakori Kroski Merritt versus some of these other rookies on in their situations that are struggling right now. Um but still he should be rostered in all leagues and he’s definitely a great uh value right now. The number one pickup if he is available to me is Jordan Mason. This is because of Aaron Jones hamstring injury. There is a real shot that you can get uh Jordan Mason on waiverss and if he is there then he would be the top pickup of the week in my opinion. Um unless you’re in a two quarterback league then it would probably be Daniel Jones. But in the regular um in the regular like common formats, Jordan Mason would be the top pickup for me. He’s looked better than Aaron Jones in my opinion anyway. And now he’s going to be getting the majority of touches on a team going up against Cincinnati in week three. That is uh great and I would definitely be trying to spend fab to get Jordan Mason if he is out there. Next is Beul Tutin. He is my number two pick up on this week. I was a little bit surprised that he got as involved as he did already. Um Travis ETN looked good and Bashel Tutin looked really good as well against Cincinnati. We saw Toutin get a little bit more involved as well without Tank Bixby being there. Um, so there is a a possibility that they do trend him in and get him more involved as the season goes along. This kind of in a way could be similar what we saw with Liam Cohen and uh Bucky Irving where he could get him Bucky Irving was a third day pick like Bul Tutin. He may get him more involved as the season goes along. Um, and that’s very much a possibility with Toutin as well. Travis ETN is the vet and this is his backfield for now, but this is going to be an interesting situation to monitor over the next couple weeks to see if Bashel Tutin can get uh the the the majority of the carries. He is probably the most available and the second best pickup after Jordan Mason if he is out there. Next, I would be looking at the affforementioned Chris Rodriguez and Jeremy McNichols. I think that one of them is going to have a pretty big role in terms of replicating some of the Austin Eckler uh touches on this team, but I think in general with Washington, the best value is going to come from Jaden Daniels and the receivers. Blake Cororm had a a good uh couple rushes in this game um and and validated himself as a handcuff that should be had for uh Kairen Williams. That’s really my other big takeaway with running back pickups on this week is that you should be trying to get the handcuffs of all these players because that is the best uh value that you can get right now in terms of protecting your elite running backs. Some guys that you may be able to drop for the guys that I talked about, Brilan Allen, um unless you have Bree Hall, I don’t think he really has much value to you on your roster. I think you can cut him at this point. Naji Harris actually um you know could be a little same kind of thing goes for him with Amari and Hampton, but I don’t think he’s really much value unless you have um Hampton on your team. And then Ali Gordon um I I’m optimistic for a lot of these rookies. But for Ali Gordon, just with this team situation and Achan has looked pretty good so far this season, it doesn’t really look like that calf injury is going to be a problem for him moving forward. Um, Ali Gordon is somebody that you can part ways with among the rookie running backs of interest. Speaking of rookies, you should be holding all of your rookies that are struggling right now. Ashton Genty struggled tonight. Um, Trayvon Henderson is struggling. RJ Harvey is struggling. Omarian Hampton is struggling too. Um, Caleb Johnson. I mean, even as much as Caleb Johnson, who’s performed by far the worst of all these rookies so far this season. Those are all guys that I would not be trying to cut because th those are players that you should be trying to be patient with because you’re hoping that they can turn things around as you get to the later part in the season. There may be an argument that what you should do with them if you are 0 and2 right now and you need to start getting some wins is you could try to trade one of these players as somebody who’s two and 0 who may want to take time to uh see what can happen with them. I generally would not recommend doing that for Henderson uh Hampton and Genty because I think those three are going to be great when we get to the end of the season. There’s a little bit more argument for doing that kind of thing if you have R.J. Harvey, um, Caleb Johnson, Jaka Crosky, Merritt, guys like that because those are ones to me that other people are going to value even if they’re not performing well. So maybe a trade may be best, but do not drop these running backs. I promise you that would not be a good mistake. Same with Aaron Jones. Even while he’s injured, I would not be dropping him. Buy candidates. So the obvious buy candidate is Derrick Henry with his performance that he had which is not good by all means there you there your only hope in getting him is that somebody may be sounding the panic alarm that oh he’s hit the age cliff this is going to be the end I should try to sell him. I would not buy into that at all. The Browns actually have a pretty underrated defense with what we’ve seen these first two weeks and Derrick Henry to me is somebody that you should be trying to buy if there’s if any owner is willing to try to sell him. The next group of guys that I would recommend trying to buy, so all those rookies that I mentioned, I would be trying to to buy them. And another name I want to mention as well is Quinn Sean Judkins. Um, he got pretty involved in that first game with the Browns. And I think that he’s somebody that he he’s probably maybe the most available out there or, you know, most expendable for a lot of owners because he was in that unknown status in the preseason. He may have been drafted later than some of those guys. He’s a great buy candidate just because of what we’ve seen uh in week two already with very limited practice. I think that he’ll eventually take over this backfield and be a workhorse for them. There’s some other veterans that I would recommend trying to buy as well. One of them is DeAndre Swift. I really like him because of the volume that he’s getting. The Bears have played some pretty tough run defenses these first two weeks um with both Detroit and Minnesota, but things are going to get a little bit easier for them as they move along. They get Dallas next week, which allowed both Scatabo and Tracy to have pretty good games. So, I do think Swift is going to have some value moving forward as a good buy low candidate. Same with Tony Pard. um the Colts, you know, that’s that’s a kind of a tough defense in a way, but Pard is getting so much of the volume that I like his opportunities to uh still be effective. And I think Cam War will get better as the season goes along. That’ll help everybody else in that offense. And then another names I want to mention is kind of relative buys. The Chiefs running backs I do not like. But what I would be recommending trying to do is because they both have very low value and are maybe dropped is trying to either buy Isaiah Pacheco and or Kareem Hunt because they play the Giants in week three and then try to sell them when I expect they will have a better performance because Javvante Williams just carved them up. Speaking of Javvante Williams, he is my number one sell candidate and that is I mean he’s been great in Dallas and I don’t want to take anything away from what he’s done so far because I do think that he really can be a top 20 back this season, but I do not see him staying as the number three running back on the season. And this is a great opportunity, especially as they go into this next matchup with Kansas City. A tough run defense. I would recommend trying to sell Javvante Williams and trying to you know the goal would be to try to get like Derrick Henry if you can. I don’t think that’s possible, but you can you could always work a package with somebody like Chvante Williams and see if you can get one of those big fishes. Kenneth Walker is a good sell candidate, too. He had a a nice game today, but I do think this is ultimately trending towards Charbanet despite what we saw this week. Um, Kenneth Walker, I think there there’s going to be more of a split than a full workload where you probably drafting him at. This is a great time to sell Raandre Stevenson, too. You know, he had a great game this week, but this is eventually going to be Tayvon Henderson’s backfield in my opinion. And this is probably the best Randre Stevenson game we’re going to get on the season. Jaylen Warren is a good cell candidate just simply because he is performing pretty well right now. Um, but you know, Caleb Johnson is there, although he’s not really pro proving himself right now. But Jaylen, I I would just prefer to lock in somebody that I know is going to be getting a lot of carries versus Warren, who is involved, but kind of has a ceiling to some degree, which is probably what we’re seeing right now. And then Nick Chub, great story, but especially after getting the touchdown tonight, I would recommend this is a good time to try to sell him, too. wide receivers. There are three pretty good wide receivers on waiverss that aren’t I don’t really love necessarily, but are good flex candidates that you can plug in. And the first one that I like the most is Juan Dale Robinson. I’ve mentioned him a couple times on my under 40% rostered videos. He is great as a PPR floor player and as we saw today, he can be a top five wide receiver on the week. he was number five receiver and he’s currently on the season the number eight. That is not sustainable to me and obviously for that reason he is a great trade candidate. Um but still he’s 29.9% roster in ESPN leagues and if he’s out there then he would be a must add to me. he would be the top wide receiver simply because this team does not have anybody else stepping up after Malik Neighbors. And Juan Delale Robinson is good enough that he can um command his own coverage and get tons of targets to make himself uh valuable as well. We look at his numbers from these past two games. He got eight targets in week one, six for 55 and then 10 targets, which is probably more impressive to me than the yards and receptions that he got. eight for 142 and one. I think that, you know, if if he could find ways to keep doing this, he’s got some tough matchups in the next two weeks with Kansas City and the Chargers, but this is somebody that should definitely be rostered and is in flex consideration um until he proves that he’s he’s not um there. I would definitely want to have him in my flex. Next, we have Troy Franklin of the Broncos. This performance was a was definitely the best that we’ve seen from Troy Franklin in his career. Remember, he played college with Bo Knicks. He got nine targets in this game. That’s excellent. Eight for 89 and a touchdown. He actually he significantly played better than Courtland Sutton, which I’ll talk about in a moment. Um, but I don’t know if this is really the the trend we’ll see moving forward or if it’s he’s truly taking over as the wide receiver one, but there is this is somebody that should definitely be rostered. And I think with that Broncos offense, they’re going to get more into sync and I think that he is a great candidate to pick up on waiverss. Third for me would be Hunter Renfro. you know, this he had a two touchdown game, which is I’m I’m very happy for him personally because he fell out of the league. Now he’s back in it. Um, and he’s got a great opportunity here in Carolina. Nine targets, seven for 48. Xavier Legette, I’ll talk about him in a moment, is proving that he is not able to fill the number two wide receiver role on this team. It’s McMillan and then it’s looking like it’s Refro as well as another player I’ll be talking about um in the next segment. A fourth guy to look at more so in the deep leagues and but probably a cheaper investment is Devonte Walker. This is a young receiver. I believe he’s in his second season in Baltimore. Um he had another great game in in this one where he had uh he had two touchdowns I believe as well. Let me double check. Um yes he did. He was two for 26 and he had two targets. Now this is a little bit more like you know you don’t want to be chasing numbers like this. This is the type of thing that like a lot of tight ends will fool you with when it’s just two targets and two uh touchdowns like the the Alec Pierce type game. But still, this is another team where Mark Andrews is kind of fading out of the picture. Zay Flowers is the one and then it’s an argument between Walker and Hopkins right now between who is the number two on that team. This is an explosive offense and if Walker um can continue to put up numbers like this, he will become a relevant player. He’s interesting because of his position right now. Um but I don’t love him as much as the other first three that I mentioned. A fifth name I want to bring up is Tory Horton for the Seattle Seahawks. Got a touchdown this week. We saw pretty good performances from Cooper Cup as well as JSN as usual. Um Horton is stepping up as the third receiver here. And if they can get the ball moving a little bit more in the passing game like we saw this week, he could become relevant too. More so in deep leagues, but a rookie I’m definitely keeping my eye on. Other honorable mentioned names of note, Hopkins and Taekquin Thornton who got a touchdown um for Kansas City. Drop candidates, Adam Thielen is a drop. He’s, you know, hasn’t really done too much in these first two games and Jordan Addison’s about to come back. I’m not super keen on keeping him. Um Deario Douglas, this is just I’ve given this guy so many opportunities and he’s not taking advantage of it. Um it it’s to me it’s more boutique and uh Stfan Digs at this point. I’d be moving on from Douglas Luther Burton as well in Chicago. He’s just not giving you the production for where he was drafted. In the deep leagues, if you can hold him, it’s worth trying to roster him, but this is not somebody in uh maybe like a 16 team league you hold him, but I think in 10 or 12, I would be looking elsewhere. Um Xavier Legette mentioned earlier. Um, man, this guy has so much raw talent, but he just can’t seem to put it together, and he has all the opportunity in the world right now. Um, I would be moving on from him. And then Khalil Shakir, if you are, uh, look, if you’re in a more shallow league and you’re looking for guys to like one of these three that I mentioned, like Juan Dale Robinson, then I would try to move on from Shakir. I like him in general for PPR, but he’s just not really getting it done so far this season. Coleman is looking like the more productive receiver there. Who can you hold? I want to bring up three hold names that should be held in all leagues despite how they’re playing right now. Jerry Judy, Calvin Ridley, and Courtland Sutton. Um Sutton, you know, I think he’s the most like this past game was a fluke, but with Judy and Ridley, you kind of do question, you know, are they losing their grip on the number one wide receiver role on that team? And I would argue that another name I should have mentioned as well in in the pickups is Alec Aomo Manor. He is a great um player to pick up for the Titans as well that um was heavily targeted this past game and got a touchdown. That would be another good pickup if he is out there. But Calvin Ridley and Judy I’m not too worried about. I think that you should be holding them and I think that they will have better games moving forward because you know they played some pretty tough defenses between both of them so far. uh maybe not the Bengals, but Judy against the Ravens. That was kind of a tough defensive matchup. And then I would hold Matthew Golden despite how he’s playing right now because with the Jaden Reed injury, Golden will get more involved in my opinion. And I think that I would be trying to see what you can get uh from him on your roster. Trade candidates, much like I mentioned earlier with Derrick Henry, if you’re going to and and Jaden Daniels in my buys, um if there is a time to buy Jamar Chase, it would be right now. I know he’s coming off a 16 target game, but with the impending doom of Joe Burrow being out for the season potentially. This is the opportunity to try to buy Chase. Now, you’re not probably going to get the elite upside that you would get with somebody like him anyway, and he’s going to move down my rankings in terms of an elite target. Jefferson is now my number one wide receiver rest of the way moving forward. But Chase is still top five to me because a lot of those targets came from Browning himself. So I I think that they’re gonna find a way to continue to get him involved and he’s still going to be extremely productive. So there’s really not a lot of players that I wouldn’t recommend trading to try to get Chase. Um so that’s just something to consider. Here are some other big names that are struggling right now. I’d recommend trying to buy Drake London, Brian Thomas Jr., AJ Brown, and Terry McLuren. Those are bigger names that have not had great starts this season that I would recommend trying to buy because I don’t see that type of performances uh staying that way as a season goes along. And and probably one of the best that you probably can get is Brian Thomas because of um just how many targets he has been getting and how it’s resulted in so few points. He may be the easiest one to get of those. A good mid-range target to get is Tedaro McMillan. Um, this is a guy that has played uh pretty well so far this season. He’s been got nine targets in week one. He got 10 this week. Bryce Young has not been great. Be interesting if he stays in in as the starting quarterback. He hasn’t done anything necessarily that’ll lose it right now um at this point in the season at least. But Tedo McMillan is their number one receiver and he is somebody that will get a lot better as the season goes along in my opinion. He is a great trade for candidate who has not gone off yet but I believe will in the next few weeks. Kahan Bouty and and Ricky Piol are other names that I want to mention that are good by Lowe’s. This is because Bouty really was just saved by the touchdown on his his one target in that game. That was kind of weird to me. Um Ricky Piol is in a situation where he should be the number one wide receiver moving forward on that team. And I think for both these two, they have wide receiver one potentials on their individual teams and are not coming off great performances or high capital um of investments. So I think they’re both pretty attainable and are good value to get. Now, who can you sell? I mentioned Juan Delale Robinson earlier just because I don’t see him staying in the top 10 this season. Um he he should be a great I would wouldn’t be surprised if we finish his season like top 40, but I don’t see him staying uh top 10 like he is right now. Keenan Allen, this is another good buy or sell candidate because he has a big name with Justin Herbert. He’s gotten touchdowns the past two games and although I think he is serviceable, I do think there is a world where you can use Keenan Allen to get one of these names that I’ve talked about earlier that are struggling and uh get him onto your roster. Jaylen Wadd, I just say this because I know this guy is up and down all the time. You want to use a game like this where Wadd gets a touchdown, is pretty involved against what is a pretty bad pass uh pass defense and try to flip him now while you can in my opinion. Debo Samuel, a lot of his points came in the uh second half of the fourth quarter in in this past Thursday night game. Um I think this is a good chance to try to sell Debo right now. Um and I I do think those targets as the season goes along will be going more towards McLaren. And then this is more of a sell low, but just a player that in my opinion I’m pretty low on and I don’t see this turning around, DJ Moore. I mentioned this in my wide receiver preview video to start the season. You can check that out in in the uh in my channel, but I felt like this receiving room was going to move more towards a Doomsday if anything. But then I if the other issue is that I just didn’t know who was going to be getting the targets on the Bears. You got DJ Moore, you got Luther Bird in there, you’ve got a Dunay, you’ve got Lovelin, you’ve got KT who has still been taking a lot of targets away from Holston Lovelin. is it’s just at this point it’s clear that Odun is their number one and DJ Moore is is just a name that a lot of people think is a number one but really isn’t. So, if that’s a name that I would recommend trying to put in a package and somebody may think that he could turn it around, but in reality to me, I just don’t see the situation changing. And I think that Odun is their one and DJ Moore, you you might as well just try to get rid of him now before there’s more sample sizes of him having poor performances. Personally speaking, tight ends, the top tight end I would recommend picking up is Jawan Johnson. And I put him number one because it’s it’s pretty close between him and Zack Z who should definitely be picked up as well. Those are both great tight ends that I think are top 10 value. I I’ve talked about Z quite a bit already on this channel of why he was extremely undervalued in draft as a guy that was a top 10 tight end last year. Um, I felt like he was going to get off to an early a good early start this season and you know he is now I believe the tight end three on the season. That’s performance is not sustainable to me though but still I I I really loved Z in the ranges that he was going in drafts and that was a great pickup to me as somebody that you can get in that range. But Jawan Johnson to me is actually the better pickup rest of season in my opinion because the Saints they just don’t have any other receiving targets. I think Z his volume is gonna go down eventually when McLaren gets a little more conditioned and they still have Debo there etc. Um but Jawan Johnson is getting hyperargeted by Spencer Rattler in this system and otherwise they have they have Olive who is inconsistent. They have Rasheed Shahed who a little bit one-dimensional. In these past two games, he had eight for 76 and 11 targets and then five for 49 and nine targets. He got a touchdown this week, but the nine targets like 20 targets over two games. That is is great to me. I think Jawan Johnson is going to have a very consistent role in this team moving forward and will be a serviceable tight end for you. Both of them are great pickups though. I don’t want to take away one or the other. I just feel like Z’s value may go down a little bit just because eventually I think he will fill a role as a third receiver on this team. Harold Fannon is still interesting. Um I I at this point I think he is taking over in Jooku’s job at the tight end position in Cleveland and I am very optimistic about how the rest of the season will go for him. The only issue is that what is it going to look like whenever Flaco is moved on from Ford Dylan Gabriel or Shira Sanders? Um, yeah, because that that could change things for him. Number four, this is a guy that I’ve talked about a lot, I’ve liked, and he’s finally kind of put together a pretty good performance. It is Javon Sanders. Nine targets, seven for 54. Um, best performance of his career so far. And this Panthers team needs second options other than McMillan. And you know, Renfro, you know, great that he got two touchdowns, but I would bet more heavily on Javon Sanders in terms of his youth and his um continuity in David Canal’s system for an extra year. Remember, McMillan and and Renfro are new to the system. This is their first year in it. Sanders has been around for for at least one season of it so far. So, he may actually be a better long-term investment than Renfro. And I do like um him as a very cheap tight end that you can get on waiverss that you probably don’t have to put fab down on for. And then fifth for me is AJ Barner. He wasn’t great by any means, but there’s a clear void for a tight end there. Elijah Royo doesn’t seem like he’s ready yet in the very deep leagues. That’s something to consider. Now, drop candidates. Yeah, you know, Brenton Strange, I I’ll take the hit on that. That was uh that was a very disappointing performance against Cincinnati. He’s droppable. Now, Hunter Henry is also droppable. I I told you guys like he has these yo-yo performances like this where he gets super targeted and then he follows it up with like one catch or a zero or just disappointing. I would move on from him at this point. Doing that against Miami to me is kind of just like a death sentence in terms of how I view you the rest of the season. Evan Ingram is also droppable. We saw Tropman get a little bit more involved here. And I think kind of what I was worried about is kind of what’s going on here, that he’s kind of just an additional tight end to what Shawn Peyton already uses um in Denver that I just don’t think is going to lend him very well for fantasy success. And then the two Pittsburgh tight ends are droppable at this point because they’re eating up their value to the point where neither one of them are uh really rosterable. And that is John Smith and Pat Fry Muth. The hold candidates are the big names and I’m gonna go in this order of how I would prefer to hold them. Leaporta, Hawinson, and Mark Andrews. I would still hold Mark Andrews because I do feel like there is some value. He started the season off slowly last year and he was great to end it. Maybe there he’s still just getting more involved. I would still be willing to be patient with it, especially if I have space to hold him. Um but yeah, it’s it’s very disappointing what we’ve seen with him. Hawinson I have some hope for on the fact that Carson Wentz if is very tight end reliant and if he comes in he may get Hawinson back involved again but I was very uh skeptical of his outlook to begin the season and he is not started it off well in 2025. The buy candidates at tight end. To me, the obvious ones that you want to try to get are Brock Bowers and Tyler Warren. Bowowers has started off the season a little slow. I think part of that is due to knee injury and also just Gino Smith incompetence. Um that that was a terrible performance today. And then Tyler Warren, he he got 11 points in this past game. 11.9 to be exact. Um but still like I I think he has top five upside on the season. I would be trying to buy him. Um, some other names that you may want to consider as well, uh, as crazy as it sounds, like you may want to try to put in a a small bid on Kyle Pittz because Pitts has gotten pretty good targets so far this season that make me intrigued by what he could be. Um, they get Carolina and then Washington these next two weeks and they get a buy. So, it’s possible he may get uh have have in the deep leagues you may be able to get him sell candidates. So, Tucker Craft has played great so far, but I do not see number one tight end on the season rest of the way. Um, Green Bay has so many mouths to feed in that system and he’s he’s looked like their best receiving option so far, but I would not be be surprised if this eventually kind of tilts back more towards the receivers or more towards uh Josh Jacobs hyper involvement when the games get cold and they’re playing in the snow. I feel Tucker Craft uh is is I I’ve improved my opinion on him. I was kind of wrong in terms of how I viewed him going into the season. Um, I see him as a top 10 tight end the rest of the way. But again, if you could use him to get Warren, then I would definitely do that personally speaking. David and Jooku is a sell candidate. Not really high, but just the fact that Fannon is eating into his touches and I think you I would try to use Injoku’s name to sell him more than anything. Travis Kelce off his name. I talked about him in the last video of why he should be sold. Um, yeah, just more of a name than anything. And then same with Leaporta. He I just the thing with some of these guys like like Leaporta is they have great games from time to time, but they’re not consistently involved enough in the offense for me to really love them. And that’s my biggest issue with him more than anything. Next, we go to the defenses and the kicker. We’ll go pretty quickly through those. So, some defensive matchups that I like for this next week that you could stream. Green Bay um was dropped in a lot of places because they were playing Washington, but they get Cleveland next week. They’re only 44.8% rostered. So, that is an excellent pickup, the number one defensive pickup in my opinion if they’re there because I think this is probably a lock to be a top five fantasy defense on the week. Kansas City gets the Giants, which that’s not really like it doesn’t look as good as it did going into this weekend with the Russell Wilson explosion that we saw, but I think Kansas City will be serviceable. And I like them to, you know, really play with a ton of motivation after starting the season 0 and two. The number one defense on the season is actually the Atlanta Falcons who had an excellent performance uh Sunday night and they get the Carolina Panthers and Bryce Young. So, that is an an excellent matchup. Atlanta is widely available. They’re only 1.2% roster in ESPN leagues. Um, yeah, this this to me is one of the best uh types of defenses that you can get that is is very cheap as well. And then I want to mention another defense. Washington plays Las Vegas, which I mean, week one that kind of wouldn’t seem like a great matchup, but then Gino Smith imploded today completely. And I think Washington should be able to get to him and I believe they’re going to win that game. Um, that’s a good defensive stream, too. What do you do with these two defenses that I listed as my top two going into the season? Denver and Pittsburgh both struggling right now. I would hold Denver. I think that that I I believe that game was either a fluke or Daniel Jones is actually for real. I don’t think that’s necessarily a reflection of the Broncos defense being bad. Um, I would hold them personally. And then the Steelers though, I’m pretty worried to be honest with you. They looked bad against the Jets and the uh Seahawks. I mean, that’s those are not great offenses. They still have to play Baltimore twice. Um, you know, the Bengals are, you know, now they don’t have Burrow, but they still have to play them twice. It’s just like I I’m not very optimistic about the Steelers. I think you can cut them at this point. And then kickers. So, I may need to change my my zero kicker strategy into just simply like get Brandon Aubrey on your team. Like that that guy, the legend, man. Like he they they literally like they they I I’ve never seen that before. They literally like almost like set up a short run for him to like kick it from 64 because they’re like, “Oh, this is automatic. we’ll just stop here and set him up in the position he wants. Like that that’s I’ve never seen that before and still he he made that with plenty of clearance anyway. Like just incredible. Um but I but my general point that I want to make is that Brandon Aubrey with the number one kicker on the week. But then look at the next four. All four of these guys are under 35% roster and were undrafted. Spencer Schrader 18 points. Parker Romo was not uh even on a roster in week one. He had 18 points. Joey Sly um has been I I think he might actually be the number two kicker after Aubrey on the season. Number three, so close though. Spencer Shrader is tied with uh Brandon Aubrey actually. So my general point and then Matt Prader picked up to replace Tyler Bass. So my point is that you know Aubrey is great but there’s a ton of other kick kickers that you can get on waiverss that give you excellent value and all of them are widely available for week three and a lot of them have great matchups too like both Shrader and Sly in that game against each other. I think they’ll be serviceable. Prader gets a another good matchup um this upcoming week against the Dolphins. Like they’re just a lot of great kicking options on waiverss. So, my takeaway is still going to be like wait to get a kicker is what I would prefer to do, but Aubrey is really making it to the point of like you may want to actually reach for this guy because he is incredible. It’s it’s crazy. He actually backs up his hype unlike Justin Tucker. All right. Well, that’s all that I’ve got for this video.
