A mysterious blonde woman who captured attention at a Windsor Castle banquet alongside Donald Trump has been revealed as LPGA sensation Charley Hull – the golfer who previously made headlines for smoking on the course before accepting a $13,000 wager to kick the habit. King Charles praised President Trump during the exclusive gathering, which welcomed 160 distinguished guests.

Professional golfer Hull – who had to withdraw from the PIF London event due to a car park accident earlier this year – earned her invitation after being honored for her recent achievements and standing as a prominent British athlete. Hull claimed victory at the Kroger Queen City Championship in Cincinnati on Sept. 14 before rushing back home to attend the prestigious event.

She subsequently called it an “unforgettable evening at Windsor Castle.” Currently ranked No. 10 globally, Hull has garnered widespread recognition for her vocal Trump endorsement.

The golfer has showcased the popular Trump dance celebration during tournaments, and previously declared last year that the U.S. President surpassed Britain’s Prime Minister. “I love Trump,” Hull declared.

“I think he’s brilliant. I like how he just says things, he doesn’t care what people think, and he’s straight to the point. I wish he was head of the UK. I just like him as a person. He’s a little better than our Prime Minister.”

Although Hull has commanded attention through her golf performances, her cigarette smoking has sparked the greatest fan fascination. She became an internet sensation last year for smoking during the Women’s U.S. Open, with spectators desperately seeking her autograph.

“It’s actually quite amusing. All over a cigarette, I suppose,” Hull commented at the time. The British golfer has been extensively questioned about her on-course smoking habit, but she explained why she thinks smoking is a better alternative to vaping.

“I was a bit stressed last year and I just kind of vaped,” Hull shared during the Women’s U.S. Open. “And I wanted to stop vaping, and even though smoking is not better than vaping, it’s just you can vape indoors all the time. I thought if I smoke, I’m going to go outside and smoke a cigarette.”

When representing England at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Hull was asked about her smoking habit. She revealed that competition rules prevented her from lighting up.

“Yeah, I do smoke on the course. It’s a habit, but I won’t do this week,” Hull admitted. “Yeah, just something I do.”

Despite enjoying her habit, Hull accepted a £10,000 ($13,000) bet with fellow golfer Ryan Evans in March that she could quit for two months. Hull posted a video on Instagram of her giving Evans a pack of cigarettes and shaking hands to seal the bet.

On ‘The Icons by Motiversity’ podcast, Hull claimed that she had won the bet and found quitting straightforward. “Yeah, easy. It was… I’m pretty strong-minded,” Hull stated.

“When I’m done with something, I’m completely done.

“So, yeah, I’ve not smoked in like 5 weeks and won’t smoke again. I said two months because at the end of the day, you can’t promise what you’re going to do for the rest of your life.

“It’s a long life that I’m going to live. But if you get over two months, then you’re not really… then it’s realistically you’re not really going to smoke. You’re not going to break that habit. Um, so yeah, I feel good.”
