Um we’ve decided off camera to not flip. These guys came in aggressive. They were being kind of mean to us. In fact, uh let’s go ahead and introduce him. Uh the first one is the one that I think has been less impressive lately. Uh so I’ll go ahead and No, I’m just kidding. No, we’ll we’ll give this guy some dude. It’s the first time ever in the gym practice round. He’s been killing it lately. Jake Heenheimer, come on in here, dude. He This dude not only got a podium finish uh followed up a couple weeks ago and at the DLOW won this last Gothrow event against some of the best players in the world and won by a lot. And he said, “Wow.” Okay. Back to back. He went back to back defended. Place kind of suits me. Yeah, just throw it far and straight and you’ll be just fine. Yeah, that’s what you’ve been doing lately. So, uh, we’re going to bring in his good buddy, a good buddy of mine as well, Kevin Jones. Get in here, buddy. Okay. Relatively unchanged I think through the history of this uh event here. Um in fact I don’t think it’s ever changed. Strip the hill. Um you want to throw I think a low forehand that kind of slightly bends off to the right a little bit just to fade back a tiny bit. You have to be aware there’s out of bounds on this rock wall on the right side of the fairway. But the angle for the approach actually improves the farther right you go. You also see a lot of backhands that will hit with hiser and counter skip into the perfect position. So that play works too. The approach shot, if you’re in the right place, is pretty straightforward. Should be an easy birdie with a good T- shot. However, if you’re out of position, getting anywhere near the pin is risky and usually dangerous. My forehand my forehand’s out. Yes. Yes. Yes. Talk to me. Get over there. Get over there. Yes. It goes uphill and then finishes on a down slope, but it’s mostly uphill, so it’s going to play farther than 320. Um, and you’ve got a left side. You got some routes on the left side and then the main route on the right side. Obviously, my body doesn’t make those noises yet. Stay up. Oh, that was going to be good. Sorry, man. The way this like it like keeps rising beyond sight. It’s just so hard to get over that hill. I feel like Yeah, I think you should throw the putter. I was going to go forehand roller with the putter. The left wall of rock all out of bounds. So, anything that kicks left bad. It forces you to try to hug the right side. If you kick right, kind of a tough scramble. If you pure it, a lot of them just end up either pinhive throwing a backhand or filter right to the hole. I worked on this all week for this course. This shot right here back home. Every day. The little hiser flip sidearm. Yep. Just because my sidearm has been kind of super important on this course. And then I was like, you got you got to get that back. And I got Get around the corner. I think it’s probably within circle one when you get down there. So, it’s pretty close by. The the shot shape for this hole is probably a slow speed disc for most of the players on tour. Um that will flip up while still going downhill to the left. If youer out too much, you’re going to find that OB. There’s also tor turnover forehand line and as the disc is going down the hill, it’s flattening out which keeps it away from the OB. I think those are the two best shots for this one. something special white test go just that’s going to be putting putting but it could find that OB in the left side there’s OB on the left uh a little OB left to the pin yeah it looks a lot like that should flip here I think I like flippy part here nice we got two long sleeves with shorts two pants Great observation. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Throw all my shots, putters, mid-range, fairways, drivers. Go up, grab my putters, throw them back to my bag. Grab my mids, throw them back to my bag. Grab my fairways, throw them back to my bag. get to my drivers, find all my drivers except for two that I threw all the way up into the corner, right? Like in the ditch of the road, you know, I have no idea. And I’m looking and I look for like 10 10 minutes and I’m like I’m starting to frantic at this point. I’m like walking around. I’m walking over the road. I’m checking bushes over the road. I’m then I start asking players. I was like, “Anybody see my disc?” Two two D1s. Um, then I asked the the parking lot lady that was helping out if she saw anything. No one saw anything. So, my two most used discs on the course just disappeared in in the field. 100% landed in the short grass in the field afterwards. We had some people saying they saw a blue Subaru that might have been around. Did we get a plate? Did we get a tag? I don’t think we got a plate, but blue Subaru. Blue Subaru. Okay.
