Hey everybody. Today we’re at Lily Putt in Rapids, Minnesota. Easily one of the toughest mini golf courses we’ve ever seen. Let us know if you’re team Alicia, team Brooks, you think it’s going to win. Let’s give it a shot. Yeah. If you’ve never seen this course before, you’re in for a treat. Here’s hole one. Good luck. Well, she hit the cheese and made it up the hill. Hey, we we know it’s a it’s a yellow uh stone, but we call it cheese cuz it looks like it’s half of a uh roll of cheese or whatever it’s called. Is it a roll of cheese? Wheel of cheese. That’s the term. Yeah, I was thinking will Oh, you know what? Oh, you made it out. I was thinking about cheese. It’s okay. We’ve all been there. Yeah, I have. Yeah, if you ever saw us play before, Alicia coined that term. It’s hitting the cheese. Just stop. That That went so much better. I think I’m right in your way, actually. Yeah, I’ll keep going. That went way better than I expected. That did not. Team Brooks, I’m sorry. Rough start for me. I’m sorry. We’ll get it. We’ll get it together. Don’t worry. Done. Hey, with how big this course is, threes are good. So, you’re still still got a chance for it. Yeah, threes are really good here. Thank you. Your ball matches for your shirt. Yep. Nice. Now for hole two. Got that. And he got water. And a really tough shot to get you close to the hole. Actually, I don’t know what the play is here. At first, in this is trying to get to go hard right and bounce over, but I don’t know how you would do that. Oh no. Team Brooks, I’m so sorry. Rex, this is not my start. My aim is just off this morning. I’m sorry. to go to Caribou. I might. I really might. Oh man. I’m going to get it together. Don’t worry. I’m game. You tell where her head’s at. That was exactly what I was thinking to try to do. You can go ahead if you want. I’m going to be a minute. I’m dropping boys and girls. Let’s get you. I think I feel like I went out somewhere right in here. So, I’ll just That was close enough. I’ll do that. Here’s for three. Ah. Got to get off this four train. Team Brooks, I’m going to get together. I promise. I’m sorry. It’s first game of the day. I’m waking up. I’ll get there. Just give me another hole or two. I say we got a caribou. Priorities. And look at this craziness. So, you got to hit another wheel of cheese. You have to avoid the water. There’s no angle to get underneath that bridge. You have to just get a lucky lineup and then go for the hole. Not many hole-in-one opportunities I feel like on this course. Did you make it over? Should have hit it harder, but I was a little scared. I understand. Really? You know what? I missed it the first time. I hit a terrible spot the second time. Maybe the next one I’ll get it dialed in. So, you dialing it in? doing something. I’m so sorry. I don’t think I really put you in a much different spot. No. Were you afraid I was going to hit you in the water for a second? Yeah. Then I’m just being dramatic. I never realized that goes uphill a little bit in that little cave. I’m in front of you, so I’m going to go ahead. That’s fine. Go ahead. That was a really good bounce considering where you were. All right, my turn. The whole time all I was thinking was, “Please don’t clip the corner of this and bounce back at me.” I think we’re both on I think we’re both on four. Nice. Please be enough. You know what? I might not be playing Grave. I’m playing consistent. I’ve got a four in all three holes so far. Caramel. Not possible. She wishes. you would know even more. You don’t they don’t have to sponsor. She keeps talking about them. They’re good. Okay, this one I feel like has better potential. Hopefully one of us getting a two. Just don’t fall off. Don’t get too excited. Making sure it’s actually lined up. Hit the pin. Oh, please. That’s good. Look at you. Yo, I told you. Give me a few holes. Just give me a few holes. Look at you. I needed that. I’m I really needed that on the bounce. Yep. I’m going down. Very fancy you got there. That’s a good one. That does not work with my legs. That bounced up that way better than I expected. Well, this is going to be another toughy. You You have a very small aiming window for this one and then get it past the rocks over two humps and then get to the hole. Jeez. I got my spot picked out on the cheese. Now, if if I can hit it. Okay. I did not hit it, but but I made it down that way. Wait, where? Oh, you’re Oh, there you are. I’m riding the wall. Wow. How in the world did you make all the way to that hump? I was expecting you to bounce back, but that worked. I was aiming for like right in here kind of like Yeah. But I mean, it still work. That is such a tiny spot to aim for. Now, let’s find out. Did Brooks use all of his luck on the last hole? I hit exactly where I wanted though. Exactly where I wanted and still ended up in the rocks. I go ahead. The correct answer was maybe. Maybe he did. The jury’s still out on this one, but you know what? I feel like I can actually get it out of this and I want to take a drop. Okay, that leans left a lot. This is a crazy tough course. Like, whoever designed this was not playing around at all. There she goes. I had no confidence in that at all. What song are you bouncing to? When you said ding, it made me start singing a Christmas song. Okay. Okay. Slave. Okay. Went out for six. Got to put underneath the castle. Flags way back there on the right. And there’s no man’s land. And there’s got to be a way. Oh, there’s a there’s some rocks and another wheel of cheese down there to try to bounce off of. So, if you miss, you’re going right in the rocks. Hey, boy. One thing for sure, this is definitely a skill-based course. Yeah, and I ain’t got it. Please don’t. Oh, you would find the corner and you go in the rocks. I think your ball wants to be a rock. We answered my question from the last 12. Like, did I use all my luck? Maybe. No. Now, now I did. That’s even harder to hit than the rest of it to find the corner like that. Caribou. You should be safe. You didn’t. I didn’t even realize I has to go up a hill. Where am I? Oh, but you’re safe. That’s the main thing. I’m going to try to hit mine out again, so it’s going to be random. If you want to go ahead, you’re more than welcome. Go. Wow. That was an amazing two. Wow. That was great. All the crickets going this shouldn’t come towards you, but just be ready just in case cuz I don’t know. I am going to move these few rocks though so they don’t go flying out. I mean that was a pretty good recovery. Please. I tried doing a golf thing and actually kind of scoop it a little bit or whatever. Loft it. That’s the term. I will happily take a three from there. If y’all are ever in the area, this is just north of Minneapolis. Come check this out. This place Gia Baell over on the hill. Come check this place out. This is a really, really awesome spot. We’re filming before they open for the day. We’re filming on a Saturday and they were nice to let us come in before they open in about an hour. That’s why there’s no one here cuz I feel like this place can get really busy really quick. Look at this one. So, we got to avoid all the rocks, water in the middle, try to curve it around that, and then somehow make it all the way to back over here. Yeah, holes in I think twos are like a hole in one on this course. Uhoh. You are safe. We’re really good at finding the corners of the cheese, huh? That’s my favorite part. If I hit you, I’m sorry, but it should be going towards the cheese. How many people are we going to make hungry for a grilled cheese after this? Oh, I’m going to do the same thing. We had so much room. We had so much room and we both managed to find that corner. I will say I have a perfect line right here to try to slingshot it off of this. I don’t know if it’s going to work, but I’m going to try. Okay, this might go horribly wrong, but I don’t have a shot either way. Just get ready to turn cuz I’m try to hit this really hard. Oh, it all. It looked like for a second that was going to work. Dang. I had to try. I didn’t have another shot anyway. You going to use your noodle? Yeah. Oh, mine’s going to roll all the way though. Oh, no. You might be okay. I’m going to go ahead since you’re y I’m sorry, team Brooks. I’m sorry. You know what? I hope y’all are enjoying the video. This place is really fun. Okay, now here, Alicia, you get to be the referee on this uh this question. When I drop, do I have to drop it right here, or can I drop it for a shot? Like, do I have to where would you like me to place my ball since it went out of bounds? Do I have to put it right on the edge right here, or can I put it where there’s a shot? You decide. I’ll let you have a shot. Okay, here’s what I’ll do. I’ll see if it’ll roll out a little bit like this. So, I guess we’ll say that’s three. You fell over. Yeah. So, this is for four. Please bounce left just a little bit. Oh, no way. It might be the first five of the game right here, but it could have been a lot worse. I feel like saying you’re having a hard enough time. I’ll let you have it. Thank you. I think Wait a second. And for here, we will play if we go over six, we’ll play every stroke out. That was an amazing four. Thank you. We’ll play every hole and every stroke out. One, cuz we’re the only ones here, but two, that could really make a difference in the game, possibly. I have an idea. I don’t know if it’s going to work. I’m trying to hit off that hump to kick it that way and then go over to the right cuz that was like a slightly uphill, too, down there by the flag. What song’s in your head now? Same one. If this works, it’s going to amaze me. But I don’t have a shot otherwise. So, nope. Didn’t do enough. Just stop, please, before the hill. You know what? I’d be over there anyway. I was really thinking hitting that was going to kick it to the left. Yeah. If you see the camera bouncing in the background, just know she has a song of some kind stuck in her head. It’s always random what it’s going to be. If there’s a strategy to this one, I don’t know what it is. I don’t know. I tried to hit it a little lighter. I just figured trying to hit it off that somehow. I don’t know how you aim for it. Have enough. Great shot though. I’m going to go still again. Threes are really good. Maybe that was good. My best shot of the entire game. I’ll take that. Well, you did have that hole in one. That’s That’s I had to look back at the hole to make sure like that shot was almost as far as the hole in one was. Hey, I’ll take it though. Thank you. Thank you. I actually didn’t know if I feel like that’s going to be the only hole there was a chance for a hole in one cuz that was the only straight shot literally the entire game so far. He’s speechless. I can’t even caribou. Oh my god. That’s what I was about to say. What? Oh my goodness. We got more cheese. I missed. What? Oh lord. It’s worked for me hitting out of it so far. Could work for you, too. I feel like what you did is almost safer than going for the cheese and missing. I also love that we No matter we we’re sticking with that. Yeah, the flag stick. There we go. I hit it that time. I started thinking about the first time I saw accidentally caught in a tree stick. Also, Alicia, before you go, I’m just going to point this out cuz you might not see them. We got ducks over there. She loves ducks. I hit the ground. I was thinking about the ducks. I was blowing saying, “Were you thinking about the ducks?” Yeah, they’re right over there. And now they walk with such s like you. She can’t deny. She’s like, “Wait a second. He might be right though.” And we’ve got a water jump. And just don’t Alicia, this is one of the times you do want to hit the rocks. Yeah, I’ll probably miss. Listen for me, too. Well, that really Please keep Okay, thank goodness. You almost didn’t make it. I know. I didn’t I thought it was going to go way more out. It went really high up. I did not expect that. So, I was really nervous it wasn’t going to. Nice bounce. I was actually really happy that I ended up against the rock. So, I knew you no matter what if you hit me, I was safe. You can go ahead. That’s a great two. And there it goes. I did not know that was going to go in. Your ball was sitting on top of mine. Hey girl, how you doing in little googly eyes on the balls? whatever rolling around their eyes would be just maybe one day we’ll do that. That’d be funny. What the heck? So, you can try to go over that little bridge and bounce around or try to go across the front one and go straight at the pin. This is definitely not going to be a hole in one, bros. We’ll see if this goes better for you. I’m already thinking it. Already thinking it. Or bridge down there saying I recognize it. and learn the lesson. Like you look familiar. It’s probably not going to be hard enough. Have enough. Nope. That’s such a small window to line that up. I couldn’t tell with yours how hard you hit it. Hit me. Oh no. I don’t know if I can make that work or not. I I don’t think either of us actually have a shot right now. So, I’m Do I I am not risking that. Not with it being rock or stone. Excuse me. Crap. That didn’t go as long. That is so sketchy. Yeah, I’m not risking that. I was going to say that’s not you might be safe there. So that’s one. I think draw on four. Yeah. And I didn’t even cross the bridge yet. Oh my. That was So that went from being really good to really bad to really good to then going in the water. You can drop it on that side though. You made it across. Oh lord. We’ll clean that off. We found another golf ball in there. You know what? That works. That’s where your ball ends up. So, I think you’re on six now. Or no. Yeah, cuz five was the drop. So, yeah. The thing is I don’t have a shot this way yet. And I can’t go this way either. So, I also have to kind of try to line this up. So, I didn’t go for the short one cuz I was scared I’d just bounce back in the water. But, you know, I ended up That’s exactly what I was thinking, too. I did not know what to do. I hope mine doesn’t do the same thing. It looks I’ll put that back. It looks like it’s a little bit smoother right here versus right here. Please. Thank goodness. So, you got the camera and I’m on forward. If we go ahead, go ahead. This is a really clever hole design. This is a tough hole. Yeah, I did not expect to get a four here. And there’s signs. I’ll try to zoom in. Those posters on the wall right there. They hold mini golf tournaments here apparently every year. I cannot imagine how good or bad that could go for people. That was off my ball. That counts. That was off my ball. Hey, you know what? You didn’t stroke out. I need to wash my ball. Here, I’ll take care of that really quick. It looked like it got some poo. Yeah. We’ll uh we’ll give it a little little bit of that. I think you’re good now. Yeah, you look it looks a little bit better. There you go. This one I don’t know if there’s an angle to get up there in one, but we’ll see. I do not know if it’s going to be possible to get all the way up there. I love the rocks. But hey, so far, knock on wood somewhere. Me hitting at them has actually worked pretty well. bucks cuz you had a dollar for every time you’ve gone in the rocks. I’d have like a lot of dollars. Yeah. My recovery shots have been fairly decent though, so we’ll see if I can keep it up. I’ll probably end up in it. I’ll dodge if I have to. That went great. Yeah, I was hoping I could do that. That was really smart. You can go ahead. I’m going to be a minute. Go. Wow, that broke right as you hit it. Let’s see if I use up on my luck again. I’m getting really lucky out of the rocks. I mean, I’ve been in them so much, I should be getting good at it. We both got a three. I got my own talent. Hey, lucky 13. We’re going to need it cuz look at this. There’s the pin. You start here and you got to get somehow all the way around which you can’t bounce and then get up the hill. Good luck. I don’t know what the play is. I’m going to try something. Wow. actually worked really well. It worked. You actually might be able to get a bounce all the way up if you get the right hit. That went really well. Yeah. I thought if I could hit like right in here that it might send it and make I did not consider that. That was That was a smart noodle play right there. I didn’t consider it. And you’re going to inspire this shot now because of that. So, thank you. You’re welcome. which might not work. It did not go as well. Well, I hit mine harder. I didn’t I was afraid of hitting it too hard it bouncing somehow back into the water again. So, figure played safe. I guess I can go ahead. Go ahead. If it wasn’t for not knowing if this is going to bounce, I’d try just to launch it around. You know what? Why not? Just please don’t go out of bounds. Clear it. Yes, that was exactly what I was going for. Yeah, you definitely inspired that one. But since you inspired it, that’s why mine couldn’t never be as good as the original. Still a great spot. If I would have gave it enough, it would have made it up there. But I was scared too. I totally understand that. Will it Oh, okay. Very close. I feel like this went pretty well for us. That’s going to go on a lot worse. I don’t know why I hit that so light. I thought I was going to go right of it and miss. Hey, let’s go get a four. Look at me. Yeah. Brained. Well, there you go. Use your noodle. Nice. And this is going to be a weird shot. There’s a train. You can kind of see it running behind. I thought I could hear it. It’s already on pass now. Yeah. But this is going to be interesting. You could try to just launch it over the the uh brick wall. It’s a dumb idea, but you could do it. It would take so much though. I’m going to try to use that curve back there to my advantage. That one? Yeah. I’m going to see if I can get it to curve off that and bounce over towards the hole. So, let’s get let’s get a little bit of air time, but not too much and then bounce to the right. Look at you. That was good. A little bit more, but that was exactly what I was thinking for once. The plans worked. [Music] I did a little bit of off-roading. Parkour. You can go heavy if you’d like. Ow. Oh, I can stand up under here. That’s be so close. That was a great shot. Come on back. Luckily, you were the one that ended up under there, not me, cuz I would have been crouching a lot more than you. Well, it hurt when I bend down cuz I did my legs yesterday at the gym. She can feel it. Yeah. I have to today if we go take a moment of silence. Dang. Both get a three. This is going to be fun to watch. Like normally when you play this, it’s just a spiral that eventually ends up with the ball at the hole. This one, you’re going to end up in the rocks and then have to work your way over to the hole and also avoid that hump and avoid the rocks over there. A lot going on. I can clear that one, but I’ll have to get it to line up for this one. I’m afraid to hit it too hard to hit that and possibly hop out. Yeah, if I knew how to, I’d try just to like get underneath it and hop it over parkour. But I don’t think that would work. Let’s give it a lot and see where it goes. I cannot believe I didn’t hop out or hit you. I know. I thought you were going to hit me. I mean, that could not have gone much better. Actually, that made me dizzy following that. You need a minute. I’m like, oh Lord, it is such a unique place. Clear it. Oh, yeah. You’re good. You want to go ahead and I’ll go after you since Sure. you right there. I made the joke about not having to squat from the last hole. I’m going to have to tough shot. Couldn’t take my club back far enough. Yeah, it’s a tough shot. Excuse me, Mr. Tree. Yeah, I kind of just swat at it. We’re getting it there. Baby steps. Thought I was going around. Your ball wanted to get one last swirl before it went. Yeah, right. It enjoyed the first time. There we go. We’ve got more cheese, please. And a lot of rocks and water. You still went behind it. What in the world’s the angle for that then? You had a few holes where it kind of like even or like eased out a little bit and then it remind you like nuh-uh. Still a really tough course. That’s such a tight angle to clear that. My goodness. That was it. I don’t think you could have done any better than that. That went really well. Hit the pin off. Okay, now let’s figure this out. Well, no matter what, I’m not getting up there in two. So, let’s just hope I don’t go in the rocks. Just going to go exactly exactly where you were. Brooks, do you see that bird? What’s he carrying? Where? Up in the sky. Oh, no. You missed him. Oh, he’s going that way. He was It was a big bird. But he was carrying something really long like this and it almost looked like a giant stick. It could have been a snake. Sometimes I’ll do that. It could have been a snake or a stick, but it could have been a snake. We just perfectly split the hole on both sides. Pretty sure that was four. Well, it Whoa. Tied. Thank you. Two holes to go. So now back to another castle. You can kind of see the pin back there. It’s off center on that right side. Is there anything to bounce off of? Probably not. Nope. Line it up. There’s a bug. It’s been following me around. Oh, that was so close. I couldn’t have been any closer to that. I know that. I really thought you were going to hit it. That actually stopped in a really good spot for how hard you hit it. I think I rode up against like when I went by. This was my ball. Like I think I was literally like riding that close to the wall the entire time cuz it never moved. Like I actually touched the wall. Yeah, you got very lucky. You got really lucky. I hit it. I could hear it. I mean, I’m in the rocks again. My hope was to graze off of this and hope it would change direction to the right. Yeah, I overthought that a lot. I’m sorry. The camera’s shaking. I’m laughing. This one I’m not as confident in with the rocks, but I got to try. It’s worked for me so far. It didn’t straight into the brick wall. We’re just going to three. Hey, you know, we might see the craziest four of your life right here. That actually got way closer than I expected. It did. Yeah. You can go. You’re on two. You can go ahead. I’m on five. I think I got the camera. Just go ahead and finish it out. It’s personal. We need to know like we know. We need to know how the story ends. Yeah. Not well. That’s how it ends. Told y’all it didn’t end well. Yeah, it’s all good though. It’s all good. We’re having a good time. Sorry, Dean Brooks. I’m sorry. That went a lot better. That went a whole lot better. Time for the last hole. See what we got. You know what? There’s a chance. I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but I’m saying there’s a chance. I’m up first. It’s always a bummer when you hit it too light for a bounce back, but too hard and sle past the hole. Like, he’s going to make up your mind either way. might hit the pin. You’re definitely going to get a good bounce. Okay. Even with bouncing off the corner, that’s a great spot. Go and finish it up. Mhm. Don’t know if it’s going to make a difference, but just in case. I appreciate it. We’re going to pretend like it did. Oh, I love touch. Are we going to just pretend? I had to. Didn’t we? I had to. You know, I can’t help it. Wow.
