It’s been a long wait and it’s kind of snuck up on us, but hockey is back. After 5 months, the Blues are back in town and they will try to build off that momentum from last season. Expectations will be a lot different after the run to the playoffs last spring. This morning, Blues coach Jim Montgomery, players and members of the organization, played some golf for charity at Belle Reve. It’s their annual Blues for Kids tournament. Thursday they put on the skates for Rio as they get back to work. They’ll start the preseason schedule this weekend if you can believe it. Here’s the coach on his goals for training camp. Improving our standard of what we accept as hard work what we accept as um how we treat each other, how we care for each other, things that are more culture based that I’m I’m really concerned about at the beginning and then following up our words with our actions being really hard to play against and pushing each other in camp to get better and get ready for a great start.
