Scottie Scheffler Grabs 19th PGA Tour Win at Procore Championship

Scottie Scheffler spoke to the media following his win at the Procore Championship, where he was asked:

– How are you feeling after capturing your 19th PGA Tour win?
– How nice was it to see some of your Ryder Cup teammates also in the hunt this week?
– How does it feel to be in the company of Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw and Ernie Els with 19 PGA Tour wins?

Yeah, feeling good. Um, overall it was a it was a good prep week getting ready for the RDER Cup. Um, as far as the tournament went, you know, I did some good good stuff over the course of four days, especially over the weekend. Um, felt like my game got got better as the week went on and um, you know, played some really nice nice golf Saturday and Sunday to be uh to be sitting here. It was definitely nice to see some of my teammates up on the leaderboard. You know, Ben and I had a good a good battle today and um, yeah, like you said, it was it was a good prep week. Uh the guys definitely stayed sharp this week and um I I always focus as much as I can on my preparation going into tournaments. That’s what gives me confidence and um I feel like I’m as prepared as possible for for the REDRE Cup and you know I think we’re all excited for for the tournament to get started and um you know we got three days in New York to to compete and have fun and um we’re we’re all looking forward to it. Ben and Tom Kite a couple couple awesome guys. So that’s you know couple Longhorns. That’s always fun to be in their in their company. Those are two guys that I’ve looked up to for a long time. And Ernie as well. I mean, Ernie has been been nothing but great to me since I turned pro and um you know, it’s it’s pretty weird to be in the same you know, realm as those guys just because I’ve looked up to them for for such a long time. But yeah, it’s been it’s been a nice last few years and um you know, it’s it’s I feel very fortunate to be sitting here holding the trophy. I mean, it was a hard fought week and um you know, I’m definitely fortunate to be mentioned with with names like
