UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – Junior Emma Kang led Long Beach State with a final day 75 as Women’s Golf finished their second tournament of the season from Chambers Bay Golf Club at the Leadership & Golf Invitational.
 
Final Results
 
Erin Lee’s start Monday helped the junior maintain the team’s second-best finish in a tie for 44th overall, despite having the team’s drop score Tuesday. Senior Madison Le was one stroke behind Lee for the tournament, finishing in a tie for 47th overall after a 79 in the final round.
 
Freshman Kailey Yoon in her first tournament in the lineup had the second-best score of the day for the Beach, finishing the tournament with a 78. Overall, she ended tied with junior Alyson Sor in a tie for 61st overall individually.
 
As a team, Long Beach State finished the tournament in 13th place out of 16 teams. Women’s Golf will get a brief break before continuing the fall season at the Molly Collegiate Invitational from Oregon on September 29-30.
