Should I upgrade with these?

This guy is selling these for 500 CAD which is lower than most of the irons I can get for anything above 2015. On this online golf store like 2nd swing for Canadians it’s priced at around 650. I know these won’t fit me properly and I have been only playing for a year and took it seriously for the past 5 months but my current irons, ping g2 red dot, with “soft regular shafts” feel weird compared to all my other clubs. I’m assuming it’s mostly the shafts, cause I bought it off some sort guy so he probably cut them as well. I’m 6 foot, 280 pounds, even if I can’t swing that fast I don’t think this soft flex fits me well and I’m not good yet to get properly fitted. But I just want something newer, this set I got with a bunch of other old clubs I have been slowly upgrading and the irons would be the last piece of the puzzle.
