The Race to Dubai is back and this week marks the return of the Rolex Series at the BMW PGA Championship, with an impressive international line-up made up of Major champions and upcoming Ryder Cup players. All seven players to have won the BMW PGA championship during the Rolex Series era are in action this week, including Shane Lowry, Ryan Fox, Francesco Molinari, Tyrrell Hatton, Danny Willet, Alex Noren, and Billy Horschel, who is back at Wentworth despite having hip surgery earlier this year. Horschel will be aiming to defend his title after last year in which he came out on top against Rory McIlroy and Thriston Lawrence in a dramatic final round and play-off. BMW PGA Championship debutant, Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen is one of the players to watch, with a course that could work in his favour, however with a career grand slam in his pocket, could McIlroy take it one step further this year and take the title?
Welcome to the Official YouTube channel of the DP World Tour. Every week you can find extended tournament highlights and individual player highlights from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. This is also the home of the 14 Club Challenge, Little Interviews, Fastest Hole and many more challenges, pranks and world record attempts featuring the biggest golfers in the world.

Harry Hall’s family’s out here. Just a little story. Harry Hall’s family when when he has a birdie. Harry Hall, they all have a pina colada. They had six yesterday. Good job. You’re not doing that radar. Pretty cool though. It’s a great idea. I like that. Same club. Seven iron. This lie is fantastic. He’ll be thinking of chipping this in. He’s unbelievably good around the greens. Like very special. blow the hole. Yeah, it was interesting hearing from them both yesterday. Madron was talking about, well, you know, just go out and play, you know, fairways and greens and see what happens. And Alexon, I’m really looking forward to it. I love being in the mix. Some things in golf you can teach and other things just come naturally into a player’s personality. Wow. He’s leaning left. It suggests it’s going right. There’s Heather out there. Oh, he’s missed the Heather, but he is in the long stuff. But it’s a good angle. He can doesn’t have to fly over the bunker. He can take it to the right. Use the contours. Oh, and a little nasty squall has come in as well. Wow, I think that was superb. He said sit. I think he thought that had jumped a bit. That’s nice. Alex Norin has a share of the course record here over the West Course at Wentworth along with fellows speed Robert Carson and Denmark’s Thomas Bure. There’s a little hump to his right, a little shoulder which wants to push this from right to left. Now with the they need to adjust now cuz these are greens have probably slowed up a foot because of the rain and they won’t take as much break. Yeah, nicely done. Could find himself one behind in a minute after that great shot from Sadi here. yesterday. That’s a beauty. Yesterday he teed off in that driving rain and hit it about 230 yards. Was miles back. Not today. He too will have to draw it around the corner. It’s a bullish one. But with this flag position, you want to hit it hard to get the thing to come down as soft as you can with as much height as you can get. Got to go. Never left the flag. Tradal said just not enough. And he can send it in there low if he so chooses. And with the moisture on the greens now with the rain tumbling down, just light rain, he’ll get a natural skid if that’s the way he sees it. So, this thing will have a little bit of zip on it on its second bounce. Well, that proves to me he’s not feeling pressure at the moment. He’s got that win under his belt few weeks back and he’s feeling good. He doesn’t give anything away, does he, Laura? No. They’re tied at 17, so mightn’t be enough. Very clever golf. Camber from left to right. When the fairways are hard, it’s easy to run out right, but the huge pines down the left make this hole. The architecture is creative genius. Playing like a an experienced veteran. Yeah, these two they led going in and they’re both playing really nice golf. That’s why they were leading. [Applause] Changing the trying to work this in the other way and making a good job of that. He’s got it below the hole. Birdie chanc is coming up now for that pair. So need to give this a a bit of a wallop slightly out of his left. He’s woped it right into the hole and maybe a significant move from Alex N. It was a lovely second shot. It was against his natural way of playing. Well, again, pin on the right suits his eye. But he missed it right at five. He just knew, didn’t he? Hadn’t got the perfect contact. This is This is just a whack and hope. It’ll land quite soft if he gets it up over the lip. Not bad. Yes. As good as he could have done from there. He’s kept it on the lower side of the cup. So an uphill putt. That is some up and down. Maybe a telling moment within the hour. Standing that one down the left side. Customary fade bringing it back into play. This is a chance here for Norin. Let’s see what he does. It’s following the flight of the boat and like a few before him just half a club. Coolness of the air, dampness. Very, very good ball. slightly below his feet. Same kind of shot. Just play a little low skitter. Maybe a little bit of check on the second bounce and release it then. Quality plus from both of them. Yeah, wonderful there from Noran reply. What a reply that was. Perfect. Very good. Nice and live. Both both players deciding to go low there. It’s often the go-to shot under pressure. Put the club in the ground. Get on top of it. Hit it low. Less chance of it going offline with that kind of flight. With the wedge with a big divot 140. Now he gets steep and sometimes you can get an upshooter. That means spin. [Applause] Oh, he cries. Not bad at all. Rather like the t-shirts. They’re all in the vicinity there together. Everything but the base. Door open for Sadi will be hated to Pat next. Sensible T-shot from Nord. Sad was very good for land. I think he’s going to have to move that quite a lot from right to left and wet club face maybe. And then he goes in there and he gets plenty of shaft lean. That means hands forward of the ball. It’s just the way he does it. Strong left hand grip. And he’s lethal from this range. Right. Not his best. At least he’s putting up the hill and he’s got it. What a p. What a time to hold it. Norin now leads by one. 19 underpar like a jack rabbit. Picked the line rolling beautifully. just bams into the back of the cup. Dead center. So, I fancy that lay up. Alex certainly will. Yes, that’s certainly going to be a layup. I think Wayne’s got it spot on there. He’s got 278. So, how far does he want to hit this? He’s got about 192 over the bunker on the left hand side. So this is a four iron. He hits that 200, it’ll leave him around 80, which is ideal with a little hurt in the air. Yeah, little further back on the short stuff the wide part of the fairway there. Oh, come in a match play situation and a good angle to the flag as well. As Wayne said, it’s not the easiest layup here. It’s been a wedge a wedging exhibition. Wedication. Spin could be his enemy here. Drawing back down towards the front of the green. It’s tough to get it all the way back. Well, the door is slightly jar for Sad if he does have a shot. And you could understand him going for it because second place is secured. Not an empty seat in this huge amphitheater. Get in the hole. Get in the hole. Well, that was a an unlikely one. A right to left as he slightly favors, but never got that one running. Right. Radar was right. It’s a little bit more across the slope than down it and misjudg the pace. The last shot of regulation play as supplied by Alex N going for his third win in 21 days. 72 holes not enough to decide who’s going to be the champion here. He’s got away with it. Water break. It might be lying. Pretty tasty, too. trying to get it to move from left to right. Well, still there is nothing between Sadi and Don. That’s a good layup if he’s that’s what he’s trying to do out there. That’s a weird shot, man. And you’re right, Olivia. He wouldn’t have made it had he taken that um the line of the flag, but it’s okay now. He’s pitching up the hill from there. The wind has just lulled a little momentarily. What’s it all about? Two wonderful layups from two players in the playoff. If you’d given them 25 balls each and say you need to land it by that bunker, not in it, and stop it short of the water, they wouldn’t have been able to do it. the danger with a line that isn’t quite as clear as the other. Had to make sure Ysen speed so the club didn’t get caught up in the wispy grass. Slime the door open for Norton. World class. Beautifully played slightly better life. He get a decent contact on the ball. Quality. Difficult to get the pattern up fairly quickly. Doft can often drive the ball into the tough top right. It’s exactly what happened there. Gave it everything he had. One slim chance left. Chance lies in the talented hands of Alex Norton. A lovely birdie for at the first extra hole. Noring the champion that Alex had to go the extra mile. uh the BMW, his champion here at Wentworth for the second time. Alex, many many congratulations. You’ve won the BMW PJ Championship 2025. The second time you’ve won this magnificent championship. Just what does this mean to you? Uh I don’t know. It’s it’s so many emotions right now. It’s like the playoff. I felt a little bit easier than maybe coming down the 72nd hole. A little bit better conditions. Uh I thought I hit that one in the water. Uh but I had a great lie. So I tried to put it up here on the right side of the green, but uh and then got fortunate with a with a good break. The the chip was sitting quite nicely. I saw his ball wasn’t didn’t catch as nice of a break maybe. So it makes a difference. Just briefly, were you going for the green and 18? I was. Yeah. I wasn’t laying up there. I know. Both you both hit it there. We were kind of quizzing. Radar was saying we didn’t think you could reach. It was really cold and into the breeze. Yeah. But we I had such a good live. I think the water kind of got us both maybe. Uh and then trying to hit it up here. Uh but obviously it was tough tougher than we thought. You and Adrian matched each other shot for shot through that back n and in the playoff as well. Just what was going through your mind? How are you processing? You know, what do I need to do to win this? Take a risk, wait for a mistake, what? Yeah, I mean, I I I think I played I hit my iron shots way better the first three days and today I was kind of struggling a little bit with a with a hits. I hit it good off the tea. Uh my iron shots just felt a little tough and but my putting chipping hit, you know, got some long putts going in. It was, you know, you just got to fight. Sometimes it comes to easy and sometimes you just got to fight. And today was it felt like a fight. I think he probably outplayed me at TD Green, but that’s how it goes. You won for the first time in seven years 3 weeks ago at the BM at the British Masters at the Belfry. You’ve now done it again. What’s going on? How is this how has this come about? I don’t know. I I I I like coming back to Europe and I like splitting time. I you know it’s feels great to see all the friends here and and uh my caddy my coach is done a great job I think and kind of just trusted the process and and not weird away from it which I usually do otherwise and and yeah it it pays off I think you’re off to the RDER Cup as a vice captain in this form we’d like you to be playing if someone gets injured or sick they’re allowed to substitute somebody in if they do it before the opening ceremony you going to take your clubs no well I take my clubs this time but then I’ll bring home to Florida. I think the other guys have played better than me throughout the throughout the year. I’ve put put in great result now the last month when it kind of on the team is going to be fantastic and I’m really looking forward to that to that match more than I don’t know in a long time. Yeah. Just finally a word for BMW. Wonderful sponsor of the tour. They do a cracking job here. Yeah. No, I mean I I love it. Like this tournament is unbelievable. I told all the guys that I play with in the States to to come over here. I think it’s one of the best tournaments in the whole world. Uh it just gets better every every year and and uh I I’m so grateful we have these kind of tournaments. Many many congratulations. Fantastic playing. Well done. Thank you. Thank you.
