did your natural Talent match your work ethic I feel like it did I don’t work at trying to outrun somebody being athletic but I had to work on the skill and footwork I enjoyed playing the game I enjoyed coming to work to play I had Tracy there my first couple years so it was fun going to work working on our game going at each other like Charles Oakley would not allow me to fail we were in there all the time working on my game Butch Carter my coach would not allow me to fail it was more disappointing for those who knew me and were there to question that I learned over the years like you can’t make everyone happy but at the same time as they sit there and say that to their themselves look at the body of work he’s still here if I didn’t have the work ethic if I didn’t love it 22 years I fooled people for 22 years no way

  1. A lot of people like to say that certain players wasted their talent. Hold on; it's their talent. They can do whatever they want with it, and you have to accept that.

  2. If Vince played with another dominate hof player, had a championship roster, had a hall of fame coach, he would be sitting as the GOAT he was prepped to be….

  3. I believe he knew the game was scripted. He wasn't going to be part of the selected champion team.

So he cruised to the end making extra money.

He always could have played like his raptor self even at 40.

  4. He had work ethic, he just wasn’t a dog. He loves basketball but he coasted quite a bit throughout his career

  5. Well… he obviously had a work ethic to stay in the league.. a true vet.. but somebody of vince's talent.. you just expected more of an extended period of greatness.. he was great for the first half of his career… just a role player for the other half.. still commendable tho.. he obviously worked on his game, a better question is did he have the killer instinct to show that he was the best every night.. he was slightly bigger than kobe, even more athletic, and a better shooter.. but.. hey, still a hall of famer

  6. Nah you didn't match cause you were as talented as kobe if not more talented. Just my opinion 🎉

  7. Vince Carter wasn’t picked as greatest 75players
    And Anthony Davis was
What the hell, 22years of highlighting the NBA

  8. They don't know That Vinsanity is that guy. He naturally jumps higher and was more highlighted then your favorite player.
I dare you to search Carter's greatest moments

  9. Half man, half amazing, vinsanity, vintage, air canada, vc15, vince carter!

  10. He was so gifted that he was able to coast off God Given abilities. Not saying that he didn't practice or put in a lot of work but a lot of us felt like he left a lot of meat on the bone cause with his ability, it looks like he didn't maximize his potential by going all out to win MVP's and chips. He wasn't maniacal about the game like MJ and Kobe. Being the best to ever do it didn't mean much to him and there was more to be desired from his fans.

  11. Vince had better hops than Jordan and Kobe but his jump shot wasn’t as good. People think it’s cuz of lack of work ethic but I believe Vince has no jump shot and the fact he even had a jump shot was through hard work. Vince to me is what Aaron Gordon could’ve been if they worked as hard on their jump shot. Kobe work ethic is just on another level. Kobe supposed to be average.

  12. Like Gil Arenas said, you just did not have the killer instinct like Jordan had. You weren't trying to be great, and that's a fact. When I say great. I'm talking about that killer instinct Jordan had to get it done, and this is a fact. 😐 You didn't have that. Nobody cares about your longevity. You didn't get no rings bruh!! 🙄

  13. Weird I never questioned his work ethic watching his career I just wondered if he was a lead dog. In unc he was the second fiddle. So in tdot to be the man was a bit of a stretch and he did well at it even though

  14. His work ethic did what didn’t was his heart or shall I call it killer instinct. He was too nice and wanted to be liked by his peers. It cost him being in thr goat convo
